Having been on four trips organised by them I feel well qualified to say that you will not find a better safari company or people that are as dedicated to providing a good experience

Dec 14,2021Safari Consultants have organised our Africa holidays for 21 years and always find remote and boutique destinations that suit us down to the ground. This trip to Kenya was no exception. Their personal knowledge of each lodge, and their tremendous support offered with the ever changing pandemic rules, made for a wonderful trip.

Nov 27,2021Wow! What a perfect trip! Thank you so much Joe and all at Safari Consultants for putting this together. We had the most amazing two weeks………we feel as though we have had Kenya to ourselves. Having made the decision to go as soon as Kenya came off the red-list we beat the crowds and benefited from stunning game viewing and amazing service everywhere we went. It was painfully obvious how hard the economy has been hit in Kenya by Covid and you realise how important tourists are to the people that create these magical experiences for us all. With regards to Covid, we felt completely safe with very good measures in place everywhere we went and a real sense of everyone wanting to ensure that guests were as safe as possible. I literally cant start to tell you what the highlights were, from 38 lions in a week, to nights under the stairs and of course Chemi Chemi- not one, but two sublime nights in this incredible place. We loved Roisin and her two wonderful girls and felt truly special whilst we were at Serian, they have created the perfect atmosphere, which is so difficult to create! And then onto Konondo which again was perfect, a magical detox from the past eighteen months. Thank you so much for putting this together for us- you got it bang on!

The entire team was attentive and willing to solve any problem. This type of response was essential for the trip to take place. We would dare to say that it was the best trip of our lives.

They are endlessly friendly and professional - we described what we were after, and their knowledge and expertise found us exactly the right tented camps. Extremely helpful when it came to the tricky paperwork which is part of travel to Africa at the moment, always answered every question very quickly. This is a top quality organisation and I recommend them highly.

He listened to all our questions and requirements, and was very quick to respond and help with adjustments etc. He was also extremely helpful with Covid & travel advice, which was brilliant. Oct 05,2021Our family of (12) just returned from a "trip of a lifetime".in Kenya....all arranged by Safari Consultants. (This is our second trip arranged by them to Africa, and again it exceeded our expectations in every way. Even the COVID requirements were well documented and easily accomplished.) We stayed at the Emakoko near Nairobi for the first evening after landing from NYC and then four evenings each at the Lewa House and at the Kicheche Bush Camp. Each camp treated us as family and we even had a Masai birthday for one of our children! The animal sightings were absolutely phenomenal! John Kubik

The staff, comfort, food, and adventure offered at these camps are second to none. Safari Consultants prepared us very well for what to expect, and did it without a hitch in these pandemic times. Sep 14,2021I just returned from a ten day trip to the Maasai Mara, Kenya, on August 31. What a wonderful experience once again, my fifth trip with Safari Consultants of London. The camps where I stayed were super nice, great food, excellent accommodation, the staff couldn’t have been nicer. I had very knowledgeable guides. The animal viewing was exceptional, several prides of lions, two leopards, one had just caught a zebra and was devouring it high up in a tree, several cheetahs, one female had two cubs, two others were brothers hunting together. Hyena feasting on a dead hippo, jackals, and vultures close by waiting their turn. Saw a huge herd of mostly wildebeest and some zebra crossing the Mara River. Enormous crocodiles, and lots of hippos in the Mara River right by my first camp, that were “signing” to me during the night. Large herds of Impalas, also other antelopes like topi, eland and dik-dik. Herds of buffalo, groups of Giraffe and elephant. COVID testing for the trip home was made easy, someone came to the camp two days before leaving and the results were emailed. No hiccups, everything went smooth. I had been hesitant to travel during these COVID times, but the small inconveniences of having to get tested twice, were outweighed by the fabulous experiences I had, including a hot air balloon ride at dawn with champagne breakfast afterwards.

Nov 15,2020I use Safari consultants for all trips to Africa for both me and my guests- having travelled to the area for 50 years i know the value in using a great outfit who always work so hard to ensure everything just works. Its all to easy not to notice when something goes perfectly - we are all to ready to crisis and quote failures. Safari consultants never let me or my guests down.

Aug 25,2020Although I’m still at the very beginning of my journey with safari consultants, I’m just planning with trip away for 2022/2023, from my very first phone call with them, Mary’s knowledge amazed me, she always ask what your interests are from the trip, it’s all tailored around yourself and what you would like out of the once in a lifetime trip and nothing at all is too much for them. I feel so safe and happy with this company and knowing when this trip goes ahead, it’s going to be truly life changing and I can’t wait for the time to go away and I’m looking forward to planning it with Safari Consultants. Can’t rate these high enough and I’ve not even arranged anything yet! I’ve looked at other companies before I’ve stumbled upon Safari Consultants and nobody comes close with the knowledge or the genuine interests of the clients and they live the experience with you. Truly wonderful company to deal with and I’m really looking forward to the planning and the trip!

Jan 16,2022Unmatched efforts from the team of Safari Consultants to finally get our primates trip happen! Booking, rebooking, rescheduling and even more last minute changes, they made it all happen and it resulted in an amazing Uganda experience. While Europe was increasingly suffering from another covid wave, we escaped to a world where exploring the forests, the mountains, the culture of an African country brought back the positive vibes of travelling. Perfect organisation, from pre travel information to covidtest result printing to return, and everything in between, you only have to take care of your pictures and enjoy the journey. Thanks to all involved.
