Feb 09,2022I hav used Scrtachpay twice in the past for unexpected surgeries for two of my cats with conditions considered as "preexsisting" my their insurance. I applied in February for $190. I know it's a small amount, but I had an expensive, unexpected car repair. I was approved. Scratchpay wouldn't take the debit card I always use. So I ask my mom can I use her card since the expiration date is in December for hers. She lets me, I r-apply for the SAME amount. I am DENIED. My cat's appointment is next week and now I have n idea what to do. She has IMHA and she needs to be checked. I'm so furious and I will never recommend this service to anyone nor will I use it again. I could see if they thought I was a credit risk with a 400 or 500 dollar loan but under $200????? I could have easily managed the $38 a week and paid the balance in full when I receive my paycheck at the end of the month.

Jan 28,2022I WONT EVER use this place again. Charged me a late fee for their faulty system. I used the EXACT same account they keep saying they ran. Which I never received a overdraft fee from their supposedly running the ACH Payment. What a JOKE? Can’t wait to pay this off. They should just throw this whole company in the garbage. I have to pay a late fee to do their job!!! UNBELIEVABLE

Jan 23,2022I'm giving 1 star only because I have to. For the last 3 months I have had to deal with my payment not being taken out. No email sent as to why , just a text. I called payed my payments and my said they have record of a company trying to withdraw money on that amount. I called in the 2nd month to verify and then that's when my account number was updated. The 3rd month it went through. Before the 4th month I paid off the accounts and the amounts due show 0 but , no Money not taken out of my checking account. I have 3 scratch pay accounts. How convenient that I now get charged an extra 15 dishonorable charge added onto each account because my payment didn't go through on account number that was just updated. But didn't go through again when I paid them off. TERRIBLE COMPANY. I'd like to slap them with my dishonorable fee right up their a$&...

Jan 12,2022Scratch Pay makes life easier when an emergency arises. My pup needed emergency surgery, I was stressed out and had no idea how I’d pay for her to get the surgery she needed. I didn’t know about Scratch Pay but my girlfriend referred me because she used it for her pups in an emergency. I applied and instantly got approved, I was relieved. It makes emergency situations less stressful knowing your fur babies can get the help they need. My Vet was paid in full, and I was able to make payments to pay back my loan. I love Scratch Pay. No stress with financial help, during an emergency situation. I’ve referred them to many friends.

Dec 21,2021Me and my husband both applied for scratch pay because we were told it’s based off income instead of credit. We both were denied. When I called to see why , I was told that I had a lack of real estate information and my oldest account is too recent. When I explained I have only rented, they didn’t seem to care. I’m only 27 and my oldest account it 6 years old. So I’m confused as to why I wasn’t approved. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told she was “in a meeting.” It was just excuses the whole time. I will never apply again or ever think about using them again.

My kitten needed immediate surgery and without Scratchpay I did not have the money to pay for it. Scratchpay was literally a lifesaver for my little Sparkle. Thank you so much!!!

Dec 14,2021Terrible experience. Tried to make a payment, I was never notified it did not go through, tried three more times, payment never went through, AND they charged me return fees. They money has been sitting in there. Finally they offered to do it over the phone, and magically knew my debit card number! They are terrible and I will not recommend them to anyone.

Nov 21,2021Everything is fine until the FINAL payment. I've been trying to get payment through for two weeks after we had to get a card replaced (it expired). Several cards tried, ACH as well, windows and mac. Also, there is no way to delete payment cards? I sure hope I'm missing something there. I just want to pay them, and it's far too challenging.

Nov 18,2021I took my dog to the vet for a nail trim, because he is alittle aggressive, turned out to be more expensive then planned on. I was referred to an other vet less expensive with payment options. I applied and was accepted with Scratchpay was was able to move forward with the other vet.

Nov 02,2021I used Scratch originally to get my dogs teeth cleaned cause it was 1100 i wasn’t expecting and it was a good choice then my dog was suddenly diagnosed with a Sarcoma Tumor in his chest at 7 and I was in ER parking lots nightly 5 hrs waiting in the dark while they drained fluid from his chest day after day and then they paid when he went through surgery to remove the tumor eventually I lost my battle and Mighty passed and i am heartbroken but I am grateful they made it possible for me to fight for him and give hm the care he needed and the tests etc… beacuse these Vet ER Hospitals are vicious unsympathetic financial vampires and scratch pay was backing me up and it really helped to make the hi estimates payments while my dog was waiting in an oxygen tank and trust me I was shaking like a leaf. once the insurance reimbursed me I easily called and paid of each by each account with no issues and I am able to rest easy that I fought for my baby as long as we could he had the best care.
