Feb 03,2025Package arrived quickly via Parcelforce, although the delivery experience was not as suggested on SIA website i.e. no tracking code was provided. On inspecting the package after the driver left, it was damaged on one side. It was clear that the package had been very badly handled, in fact it looks like someone drove their forklift prong through the box! Extractor inside was totally mangled and unusable. I sent photos and an explanation to SIA Customer Services within 10 minutes of delivery. Took them 3 days to respond. I was offered £15 for me to keep it, or an exchange. Clearly they didn't look at the photos properly... the whole side of the extractor and part of the top and bottom was bent out of shape. It couldn't have been installed because the fittings were distorted, the filters were stuck shut, and so there was no way of even opening it to see if there was damage to the electrics. It took another 2 email exchanges, with a response time of 2-3 days each, to arrange an exchange. That arrived today and the product is pristine, which is great. But as a final annoyance, I went back on the website to check what type of carbon filters to order, and the extractor is now £10 less than when I bought it! So I would have been better off asking for a refund and re-ordering it.

Feb 01,2025I ordered a wine cooler and paid £10 for next day delivery. It turned up damaged . I emailed them and got no response . Called them and they said Bob they did not get the email. So they sent me an email to respond to with pictures of the damaged goods. Which I did , they said they could offer me some money back if I kept the goods. I said it’s no good to me if the door is broken so wanted it returned. They said they would sort this out straight away. That was Wednesday morning and it’s now Friday evening and not had a response again. First time I used this company and the last time I will use them. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

My only gripe is the post sale communication... dispatch e-mail received but didn't say which delivery company being used & no e-mail to confirm delivery had happened (I was ordering for delivery to another address than my own)

Jan 27,2025Ordered an integrated cooker hood which was delivered next day - excellent service. Unfortunately, prior to installation I discovered it was 2mm too wide to fit my space available. Obviously not their fault but they were really helpful and understanding and detailed their returns procedure which I followed to the letter. Within a week my refund was back in my PayPal account. Every correspondence with customer services was polite and very positive and helpful. I liked and trust this company and will recommend and use again when I can.

Jan 24,2025A replacement kitchen extractor fan ordered from Shipit arrived via Parcel Force within the time promised. Only one major issue was the poor - incorrect - fitting instructions with the supplied SIA INT60SS (built-in) cooker hood. They show : drill 4 holes in the kitchen wall 55 mm + 55mm for hanging brackets 23.5 mm in from each adjoining cupboard and 553 mm apart. They should be 24.5 mm from each side, and 551mm apart to accept the hangers as pre-fixed to the top of the unit!
