Aug 19,2019Good installation and seems to all be working well at this stage. Disappointed that the shade cover paid for and supplied did not have a bracket to the solar unit pipework to install it. Advised by Installer to tie it around the pipework connection, this as an older age person could be difficult especially climbing on to the roof.

Aug 16,2019Everything was really good and I am very happy. I had to muck around to get the Wi-Fi to work but now I can go online anytime to see how the system is performing but this wasn't the fault of Solar Gain The fellow Goran at Enphase Envoy was extremely helpful and guided me through the process . I now get monthly reports too. So all this and a rebate from Solar Victoria to City of Darebin I can't complain. I am looking forward to seeing how it goes in Summer! Kind Regards James Logan.

Aug 14,2019(Installed 4 months ago) We were impresed with how efficiently Solargain managed all stages of the installation. This was mostly done via email, so can't speak for how it would have gone for those without email. Everything was done on time, even those things outside of Solargain's direct control (eg independent inspection, approvals from electricity provider, hooking up to the grid). The actual crew who did the installation were knowledgeable and did a first class job.

Aug 14,2019A bit more advice on positioning of panels would have been more beneficial, I have all my panels on the west side, a few on the east side would have spread the generation over a greater time period instead of a higher generation in a shorter period when the excess generation is sold back to the grid for a much lower price than i pay, if I had a few on the east side my generation would have lifted to a level to cover my consumption a few hours earlier, otherwise extremely happy with all aspects of purchase, installation & after sales service.

Aug 13,2019I felt they were a bit expensive but went with them because friends of ours used them and recommend them and I didn’t want cowboys doing it. In say that I was disappointed that I haven’t got my government rebate and I didn’t get the signed STC form also we paid $300 for the Solar Web app and tracking and was told someone would be able to set it up for me and everyone that I’ve asked who did the installation hadn’t been able to do it so 4 months later I still haven’t got access and it was a waste of money.

Aug 12,2019So far so good. Install happened quick with great customer service to get me some hot water ASAP. I went to them knowing what I wanted, at least I thought. So the sale/salestalk was rather straight forward. I may have shot myself in the foot in which inverter I opted for - likely user error for not reading the fine print (I don't think my grid tie in inverter will power the house when the grid is down. However the grid so rarely goes down... no stress really). So they were easy to deal with when I knew what I want, their contractors were professional, friendly and fast. and neat. And their after sales support for fine tuning the iStore and the web portal has been excellent.

Aug 06,2019The system itself is great. but there was an issue when it was first installed that took a couple of weeks to sort out, now less than 2 years later a part of the system has broken down, meaning I am not producing any solar. It has been a month now since i lodged a support call and still nothing has been done.
