Jun 11,2019Solargain sent their subcontractor Elite Solar to my house to install a 10kW system. They recommended that the inverter be installed by the front door. I asked if there would be any noise and was told there be a slight hum. When the system was first turned on it was quite noisy and I queried the installer who confessed that he had only installed small inverters before and didn't realise an 8kW inverter would be so loud. The Fronius inverter is so noisy that it is unpleasant to sit in the yard in front of the house. Solargain came out to inspect the inverter and agreed it was noisy. A month later they said it would cost $1500 to relocate. I disagreed. They came back and said they would move it for $750. I disagreed. Now Solargain do not reply to my emails. Additionally, Elite Solar punctured 8 holes through my cathedral ceiling by mistake, which I have not been compensated for. Furthermore, on the first day Elite Solar turned up and said I needed to upgrade the cable from my switchboard to street, which has cost an additional $2000. My recommendation is to avoid Solargain, Elite solar, and Fronius inverters.

Jun 09,2019The best thing since sliced bread.My electric bill has gone from $70 a month to zero dollars a month but I did have my meter changed to a new one that goes backwards which cost an extra $350 fitted.That's 3 month's now. 9 panels supplies more than I use.

Jun 07,2019there were no issues with the installation of my solar panels. workmanship appeared to be neat, tidy, and they cleaned up after themselves, so, basically no complaints at all.

Jun 05,2019I have had solar systems installed by Solargain on two houses now. On each occasion, their sales staff have been helpful in providing me with options and advice on the selection of systems and their installers have been on time and happy to explain what was going on. I did have a problem with the second system (found through the Fronius web reporting) and a service rep met me at the house while he diagnosed the problem (high line voltage from Western Power causing the inverter to cut back). Solargian helped me through the issue and the panels are back to full performance.

Jun 05,2019I trust Solargain over all other solar providers. Having said that, there were some delays in Solargain getting all correct documentation to our energy provider, which delayed the summer time from when we could have gained benefit of grid connection.

Jun 04,2019At the start the salesman was very informative explained in full and answered all our questions. There in house installers were also very helpful very efficient they installed the inverter under Cover in the garage where we wanted it he measured the distance and it just made it to meet the regulations and at the finish very clean and tidy no mess. We could have got the same system cheaper elsewhere, but we were very glad that we went with Solargain, now we have no worries knowing that there in house after sales service will keep our unit performing to its maximum.

I would like someone to contact me as the Solar Web application recommended and installed by the installers is not recording and updating earnings. This app records real time energy use/generation from the solar panels and historic data.

May 22,2019Solargain were very helpful in designing a system that was suitable for my roof configuration. They offered a variety of systems and configurations to choose from. The system was installed on the due date and I have had no problems in the 4 months it has been operational. They were not the cheapest quote, but I believe the company offers good value.

May 21,2019All great from install point of view. The only problem was when we had a power outage and the battery didn’t kick in as the latest upgrade had not been installed. Power was out for 20 hours and most food spoiled. The only reason we got the battery was to drought proof us but through lack of attention to detail we did not enjoy what we paid for. All good now but just saying.... Would be good to get some feedback and some compensation for your lack of attention to detail. Also we have saved some $1200 from our bi-monthly account.
