Nov 21,2024don’t expect to live if you can't afford the £344 + parts for the first hour more if they need more time. They aim to get to you in the next 7 working days and I quote "that doesn't always happen". I called the head office who said they would put me through to my local branch and the phone went dead. Nothing so I found my local branch myself and called them. Here is the short conversation: "Hi I am stuck in my home as my stairlift is not working, I am stuck upstairs” "it's £344 for the first hour + parts and we aim to get to you in the next 7 working days" "What would happen if there is a fire" "You would still have to pay the "£344£ "So, if I could not pay you would let me die" Currently trying to save money and praying the house does not catch fire. Luckily food and water can be passed to me but I miss family meals downstairs. Stennah why do you let people die due to finance? Please state clearly why the call out fee is £344 for one hour. It costs about £3 to drive from your local shop. Do you pay you engineers £300 an hour? if so, where can I sign up?

When he finished I felt totally comfortable in using it and can get get up and downstairs with ease. Highly recommend yes a little bit more expensive than others but you get what you pay for
