Over 40 years ago we added stairlifts to our range and since then we have helped over 700,000 people make more of their day. With options to buy or rent new or reconditioned stairlifts for straight or curved staircases we have a stairlift to suit everyone.

Nov 26,2024Not only is the product of very high standard but also all the staff we encountered were very polite, patient and knowledgeable. Their staff are obviously all very well trained and could answer all questions comprehensively. Not just the staff we met but everyone we spoke to on the phone were of exceptional quality. Clearly all the office staff we spoke to are based here in the UK which does make a difference to the whole experience. Faultless experience. I would strongly recommend Stannah, don't bother with anyone else.

Nov 26,2024The after sales service is OK, but the problem is that I've had to call them out too many times. The lift was supposed to secure my future in my home but I've decided that I have to move to a bungalow after all. The upgrade to my phone system means that the emergency phone in the lift no longer works & I worry that I might get stuck one day with nobody else in the house that I can call on for assistance. It was a new product when I had it installed & looks good but it's had way too many 'teething problems' which have gone on far too long

Nov 25,2024After a cancellation for the first appointment the lift has been installed. The electrician arrived in good time a few days before and did an excellent job. The wiring is tidy, clean and unobtrusive. The men installing the lift were thoughtful and worked in a tidy and logistical manner. We are a cottage so not the easiest of environments. The use of the lift was demonstrated to both of us ensuring understanding before they left.

Nov 25,2024Monday 18 November 2024 at approximately 9am Gary, the Stannah Engineer, arrived to instal my chairlift. It took until almost 12 noon to have it. up and running and I am delighted with it No more struggling up an down stairs

Nov 24,2024Really nice engineer as ever, came to service our stairlift which was installed February 2024 .. gave great attention to detail to ensure all was working well . This would have been 5 ***** only customer service called August to see if the engineer could come over immediately as was in the area, unfortunately we were just off out and I thought it was too near for the annual service being just 6 months post install ... she said she'd call back then didn't.. months later card through the door.. engineer called for the service and no one at home .. it wasn't arranged hence not in, then November this year called again, could the engineer call in today, again unfortunately it wasn't convenient, finally arranged over the phone a week later . The admin is at best confusing, always polite, but couldn't engineers calls be managed better. Totally pleased with stair lift and responses to emergency call outs .

Nov 24,2024From start to finish a great company to deal with. Surveyor,electrician and engineers who fitted the lift were excellent. Office staff ,always helpful. We had to reschedule and it was not a problem Efficient,polite,helpful and tidy.
