Fiat Jeep Cleckheaton. Worst Customer Service myself have ever experienced from a Car Dealer . 22/2/25 . Picked up a £38.000.00 BMW X3M. On checking the veichle it was dirty inside . I received an apology. On returning home drive heated seat fault. Contacted the dealer (RiZ) sales manager . Was informed contact my warranty company . I did this was told by warranty company fault was down to dealer to repair as I had only just had the veichle . Took my veichle to a Bmw Specialist who repaired the seat issue . But then discovered the veichle had been placed into Transportation mode ( basically this mode allows any faults on the ecu not to show up . This can only be done by someone who as knowledge and soft ware to hide a fault . The car had a suspension fault but again this was repaired by a Bmw Specialist who then semt myself an invoice for the repairs at £1288.00 . Monday 17th of March I sent this invoice to the dealer and I then emailed for an update twice and eventually was informed on the 21/3 after various calls ignored again this will be chased up . The communication and service is appalling. My veichle now as a rattling noise coming from the engine and my emails have again been ignored . Avoid this dealer as when there are complaints/ issues customers are ignored and fobbed off .
Both Jack and Dan made my experience on choosing my new car and explaining everything to me extremely simple. Nothing was too much trouble and both were polite and so helpful to me. Fantastic service from Aaron at Stoneacre Darlington, going above and beyond to get me the car I wanted. Very knowledgeable about my Captur, and he kept me up to date all the way along from ordering to picking the car up. On pick up day he explained everything and helped setting up the tech on the car. Made an enquiry through CarWow, was happy with the price so messaged the dealer. Dealer did not respond. Carwow gave the dealer a nudge, again dealer did not respond. Finally after several calls I got through to Jamie. Jamie went through the offer and made a px offer on my current car. I was told I would receive the details by email shortly. I’d not received anything by the end of the day, so I rang the dealership again, Jamie said he’d not forgotten and would send the offer straight over. The details didn’t arrive. Called again and left a message, Jamie emailed with totally different figures. Emailed back asking why had the figures changed, but received no response. A few days later the retention team called asking why I’d not bought a car. I explained what had happened, they said the dealer would be in touch. The next day Raymond rang, I explained what had happened and he said to leave it with him. Raymond called back the following day and explained he had a call with Renault and about a new campaign and would call back Friday. Friday came and went. On Saturday Raymond called back apologised for not calling and said he was just putting the figures together. Sunday I received. A voicemail with revised figures, which had increased once more. Left several messages for Raymond to discuss the offer but did not get a response.
Aaron (Darlington) was top draw from start to finish, kept me updated fully and always returned calls or messages promptly. Will definitely return again to deal with Aaron.
