Absolutely fantastic Dom and Steve went above and beyond
Yet again another frustrating experience with Stoneacre Chesterfield. This time I had no option but to use them and prayed it would be a better experience than last time. I was wrong. My Renault broke down which is still in warranty (software issue). I contacted Renault UK who actually have probably the best customer service team I have ever known. However the only Renault dealership nearby that I was advised to have my car recovered to were stoneacre. I advised I have had nothing but bad experiences with them but if I had no choice then I would have to go. Had my car recovered and advised by Renault uk that stoneacre were taking recoveries so to head straight there. Arrived at stoneacre in the recovery van and walked into the service centre at stoneacre to what I can only describe as distain for turning up with a broken down car. I was asked to advise the recovery driver to move immediately to the main road away from the service centre and leave my car there. The recovery driver dropped the car onto the grass embankment as he didn’t feel comfortable leaving my car on the main road outside where it could be smashed into. I was then advised that my car needed to stay with stoneacre as it was 27th December and no technicians were working until 2nd January. I could appreciate it was the week between Xmas and new year and had no issue waiting for it to be looked at until 2nd Jan. however advised I would need a courtesy car as I had no other transport. I was met with a laugh and a response of “we need to look at it first and it sounds like a software issue which is a quick fix” so I left the car and got 2 buses home. Stoneacre kept my car for a week and advised Renault that I had dropped the car off with them a week later than I actually had and advised it would be another week before they even looked at it. I told Renault this was not true and had been without a car for a week. This somehow prompted stoneacre to do the software update and I was able to collect the car the next day. On collection I waited 15 minutes and was then asked to pay £2.50 for a new bulb (they had forgotten to tell me that that they had replaced a bulb when they called to arrange collection). Stoneacre are not interested in you unless you are paying them for something or buying a new car! I wouldn’t have used them but I had no choice and again it wasn’t a pleasant experience in the slightest!

New car was ready for us to collect at time we had arranged. All paperwork done ahead of time so minimal delay in getting into car. Mark did a fantastic job of taking us over the new car and introducing us to EV’s and charging. I had a couple of phone and email queries in the days after I collected the car, Mark replied quickly and answered questions fully. Very impressed by the service overall.
I was phoned and emailed by Andrew Wagstaff who told me about some offers that were available to me He even did a video of a Nissan Juke which I thought was a nice touch. When I spoke to Andrew he worked out some available options and monthly payments on a few different specifications of the Juke. We arranged an appointment which he wasn’t able to attend but made sure that his colleague Jon-Louis Marosi knew about all the facts and figures. He was very knowledgable in answering the questions that I asked and was offered two different test drives of a petrol and hybrid Juke. I ended up choosing a completely different Juke to what we had gone over. I was kept up to date my Andrew with when I was to pick up the vehicle, however when it was driven out of the showroom a fault code was showing Andrew phoned me and let me know and said he would call the following day with an update which he did. The car needed a part so I was offered an upgrade at no extra cost per month for the inconvenience. Two weeks later I went and collected the car. Calvin Casey went through the finance part and then Andrew took over the handing over of my car and the receiving of my new vehicle. He then took me to the car and went over all the controls etc Very friendly and knowledgeable team
I absolutely hate buying cars. I hate the whole experience. I saw a car that was available through Stoneacre Teeside and sent them an online enquiry. I had a call back within 10 to 15 minutes. I was invited in to the showroom and met with Nathan. I now have my car and the process has been faultless. I have been kept informed at every stage. I was given as much time as I needed to test the car, as I had never driven an automatic before. I would never recommend car dealerships before, but I would recommend Stoneacre Teesside without any hesitation.
Have dealt with Russell Brash before, and yet again his knowledge and expertise is second to none. Very helpful throughout, excellent communication, honest, reliable and not pushy. 3 key elements for us. Cheers again Russell.

Jan 27,2025I was looking at the purchasing a CHR from a number of dealers and leaving enquiries at number of them but the only to get back to me was Lewis Smith at the Newcastle branch he stated by sending me a video of the car had enquired about which no one else had done from there he just got better and better he couldn’t have been more helpful and professional walking me through every step of my purchase even managing to arrange for me to collect my car the same day I can’t praise him enough it ended up being a brilliant experience and would highly recommend him and Stoneacre to anyone
