Mar 20,2021A big thank you to Matt and the team at Surge Bikes. After looking at the Website for some time,I decided to purchase a Merida eBig Nine 400. All I can say is (what a bike ) which you need living in Cornwall. At 63, my first new bike since a teenager. With the added bonus of the Surge Boost package. The bike came with-in a couple of days covered in bubble wrap on a pallet. I had to change a few items of clothing ( little on the small size) which was change with no problem. Many Thanks again.

Mar 20,2021After some time of searching for my first EMTB I came across Surge Bikes purely by chance but am very glad that I did. My initial enquiry received a very prompt response, Matt obviously knows his stuff and asked me a number of questions to ensure that I was buying the right bike, he clearly didn't want to sell me the wrong bike! A few days later the other Matt delivered the bike to my home in Kent and ensured the bike was set up correctly for me before he left. I would highly recommend Surge Bikes to anyone looking for either their first or next bike.

Although I already have standard road and mountain bikes, I felt ill equipped to make an informed decision on an e-bike. The guys at Surge Bikes couldn't have been more helpful. They spent time listening to what I wanted the bike to do and made great recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised at the range they had on offer too, especially as this was after nearly a year of lockdown. Highly recommend this company and love my new bike!

Mar 18,2021I contacted Surge Bikes as I already owned an Orbea Gain D40 and wished to upgrade to a carbon-framed Gain M30. Matt showed me a M30 that had been sold but he allowed me to inspect it. My having decided it was the bike for me Matt took me through the customising and ordering process without applying any pressure on me to buy. Matt recommended the carbon wheels upgrade and I am glad that I followed his advice. Communication throughout the ordering and delivery period was excellent with Matt sending me regular updates on the progress of the bike from Spain to UK. When I went to Surge Bikes to pick up the bike it was there, fully assembled, adjusted and ready to ride way. In summary the experience of ordering, supply and delivery was faultless and I have no hesitation in recommending Surge to anyone if they are considering buying an ebike. My Orbea Gain M30, by the way, is also brilliant, I'm so pleased that I have it!

Feb 06,2021Great service. Rang up with a few technical questions about a Merida e160 and they were able to offer me great knowledgeable advice. Purchased the same day, quick and easy and at a great price, cheaper than anywhere else for the same bike. Arrived the next week well packaged and protected. Minimal assembly and it was ready to ride, everything worked as it should with no adjustments needed. After sales has also been fantastic with a follow up asking how I was getting on and if there was anything else they could do to help. Would highly recommend.

They really do want to make sure that you are getting the right bike for you. The communication from Matt is excellent wether it be to speak to direct or via text. When I collected the bike it was fully set up, tested and ready to ride, I would definitely recommend giving these lads a call..

Jan 16,2021Brought a Haibike through cyclescheme great service from Matt and the team I paid a deposit to secure the bike it took ages for my company to sort out the certificate but this didn't bother Matt,had a small problem with the rear light but is been sorted with no fuss. Would recomend Surge Bikes.

Jan 15,2021Purchased an Orbea Wild FS electric mountain bike from Surge bikes and love it. The time given by Matt to offer experience based advise was really appreciated and yes I did listen! While Surge prices are much the same as other dealers the Surge Boost is fantastic. Free accessories that are wanted rather than being extras that will gather dust. Packing and delivery are second to none, do not expect to ride the bike on the day of delivery, you will spend all your time removing the protective material. Absolutely no chance that my new bike was going to arrived damaged. Have another bike on order with Surge, I recommend them and if I buy again I will definitely use Surge.

Jan 11,2021I am based in Ireland and my local bike shop didn’t stock the Tern HSD model I was interested in so I turned to Surge Bikes. I spent quite some time researching the right bike for me and Matt was very helpful and prompt in replying to my various emails over the course of a couple of months. There was no pressure to complete the sale but good advice given throughout. Tern bikes come with a great range of accessories and the Surge boost offers great added value and enabled me to buy the accessories I needed at no additional cost. The cost to ship the bike from the UK to Ireland was very competitive and it was shipped using a pallet service which is better than the usual courier service that most online providers use. The bike had been put together carefully (with all the various accessories also pre-installed by Surge Bikes) and I just had to fit the pedals and adjust the handlebars. It was superbly packaged with a ton of bubble wrap and firmly fixed to the pallet. The bike is fantastic and I you are considering getting an electric bike I would highly recommend you contact Surge Bikes.

Correspondence by phone and e-mail was first class. Upgraded wheels and offer of kit as compensation when bike was delivered from supplier with a minor scratch made the service I received worthy of 5 stars.

No chance of any damage as bike was completely wrapped in bubble wrap then in a box . then strapped to a pallet . Faultless!

Matt from surge went over and above to help me with excellent advice and multiple options to get my first bike in 5 years. Oh and it was cheaper than anywhere else too. I will definitely come back.
