Surge was recommended to me for my first e mountain bike and I would have no reason not to recommend them to anyone. Matt gave me all the time I needed to discuss and choose the right e mtb for me and when I came to collect the bike a week later Matt the mechanic was equally as attentive when setting up the bike with me. Great bike great guys, great service.

I had been looking for a eMTB for a while. Due to Coivd its fairly difficult to track down, an in-stock eMTB. I had originally contacted Matt @ Surge bikes re: an Orbea Wild FS. They didnt have any in stock but advised they had a Haibike AllMtn 7 due in. Spent some time researching it and got back to Matt fairly quickly. From reservation to delivery Matt/Surge offered a great service. Reservation was painless Surge accessories were a great addition Communication was fantastic Build and delivery was very prompt, especially taking into account the recent "surge" in demand for bikes. If I had been able to give a percentage for my experience rather than whole stars, I would have given this super company 99.99%. The team were so helpful with choosing my bike and there was no hard sell whatsoever. They went well beyond the call of duty to help the bike fit me by making adaptions which have worked very well. My only negative experience was that after delivery one of the wires from the lights parted from the fitting which was a bit disappointing. I am sure if I had contacted the company, they would have put it right but it was such a tiny job that it wasn't worth the effort. The only reason I mention it was that my husband did point out that it looked problematic and we were assured it was fine. As a person who is a fairly novice rider, the company did suggest that I could go for a cheap model so I didn't get the impression they were out to get as much money out of me as possible. I chose not to use the Surge Boost offer because there was nothing I needed but the price of the bike was so competitive, had I chosen to take up their offer, I would not have been out of pocket.

From start to finish Matt has been most helpful, i purchased a Haibike online although not my first choice i am glad i decided to go with it , Matt kept me updated throughout and the process from start to finish was under a week , the delivery was excellent , the bike came and all i had to do was attach pedals and bars , the bike was well protected i have never seen so much bubble wrap ! a big plus was that the brake levers and display were on the correct side a lot of bike shops do not do this it is left for you to put them to UK standard ... so all in all a definite five stars good to see a company doing what they say , again a big thank you.

After visiting the Surge Bikes store with my parents who both brought ebikes from Matt and seeing the knowledge and level of customer service they received I decided to get my ebike through them as well, rather then with another bike store I had visited. This was not a mistake! We rang on the Friday to enquire about the bike I had seen the week before and went on Saturday to pick it up, even though we rang late on Friday it had been set up and was ready to go. The surge boost is a great offer as it enables you to get the other bits you may need. Matt was really friendly and helpful on our second visit and even though I was already sold on the bike he still gave me the same level of service and knowledge my parents got the week before. I have already recommended Surge Bikes to friends and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again!

I ordered a Haibike online after speaking to Matt at Surgebikes. It was straight forward the only concern I had was the delivery on a pallet but I need not have worried, the bike came and the way it had been attached to the pallet was brilliant. All I had to do was attach the handlebars and the peddles. Matts attention to detail throughout the purchase was great. When I need anthing bike related I will definitely go back to this company.

We bought two e bikes from Matt and we are very happy with both of them. Matt is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Matt helped guide us patiently to the right bikes and wasn't at all pushy. Would highly recommend. Prices were also extremely competitive.

We're based in Plymouth so I wasn't able to visit the store directly. However the service we recieved was outstanding. We recieved our bike ready to ride which was brilliant and the bike has been faultless. Matt and the team handled our enquiry professionally and patiently. Ordered an Orbea Gain in August. Due to covid there were delivery delays and Matt kept me informed. Delivery of my specific bike was going to be further delayed so an alternative same spec bike was sourced. I am very happy with the bike and Matt's customer service

Bought an eMTB at a distance during the C19 restrictions. Great advice, prompt communication and a good price too. Delivery was delayed due the the supplier but I was kept informed every step of the way. Delivered, setup and handed over by a really knowledgeable member of the team. Very pleased. Extremely competitive pricing and very knowledgable of the overall eBike market. We arrived from London to look at our options and because it started raining, Matt kindly drove my wife and I back to the local (Bramley) train station! Likewise, very friendly and responsive service that went above and beyond to resolve a Bosch battery issue we had on our Tern HSD. Excellent coffee too (whilst I waited for the free new bike check-up).
