Booked and paid for a weeks holiday flying out December 26th 2021 in September, holiday cancelled October 24th no reason given in fact it was the airline that I formed us the holiday was cancelled not Teletext. Anyway still waiting for our full refund £1900, numerous emails sent, just get an automated response, was promised an explanation by March 5th - still waiting! Filled all the relevant claim forms in - still nothing. Have now wrote to my local MP, she’s waiting to hear (lol), in 11weeks they will have had our money a year!! Will never ever use Teletext or Truely Travel (as they also trade under) again and I’d advise others to take note and book with people who actually care and not in it for your money!!!

Always used this company with no problems until now. We had a holiday booked with them before the pandemic, when they went bust we were passed onto tta travel who you can see have commented in here saying all booked holidays will go ahead. We'll TTA, I would like you to tell me why you let 5 of us get to cyprus to find we had no transfer and the hotel had NEVER had a booking for us! You can take the time to comment on here then you can take the time to respond to my emails and issue a refund plus the thousands we are now out of pocket!

This is completely a scam website. Me and my friend booked holidays in December 2020, due to change in travel rules by government, we couldnt travel. We have tried so many times over the call and via emails. They replied twice in 2 years saying they will refund end of the month. But we never got refund, it is amount of £1800 and they dont even reply us. We are still fighting for it and niw we are gonna go legal on them too. Please do not trust them. It is 2022 and we are atill waiting for refund.

I booked to go a holiday in July 2021 and this was cancelled, I was told I would receive a full refund and been told multiple times that this would be in my bank in a few weeks. Still nothing over a year later. All my emails and calls now bounce back! Disgrace.

Truly Travel Ltd, trading as Teletext Holidays have had their Travel Trust Association membership closed on 29th October 2021 and are no longer taking new bookings.All existing Truly Travel bookings have been re-contracted with TTA Travel, ATOL Licence T7173 and existing customers’ holidays will be fulfilled as planned.For any questions, please see the TTA Travel website.

I booked a package holiday in 2020 for 10 nights in Gran Caneria for my self and my granddaughter for £1858.37. Teletext cancelled my holiday and told me I would get a full refund within 21 days, that is nearly 2 years ago, I have been to citizens advice, which magazine, CMA and no one is helping me after lots of phone calls, emails and letters sent to teletext and all the lies I have received from them I am now prepared to go and seek advice from a solicitor. I know a lot of people are in the same boat as me, but have you been to see a solicitor and been able to get your refund back.please let me know who I can go to for more help, I’m really depressed regarding this matter.

I booked this holiday in 2019 with Teletext and paid in 2020. I now need to cancel the holiday due to a heart related condition (See attached) . I am due to fly this coming Monday the 25th April I have checked in online and packed my suitcases as this is something that was not expected. All I need is for the company to do a simple thing and that is to issue me with a tour operator's cancellation invoice for the £2259.44 that I paid to Teletext holidays, so I can pass this onto AXA insurance. I dont need a refund I have sent over 50 emails and made 4 phone calls, for something that any other travel company would find a simple task

Arrived at Corfu airport just past midnight, went to the transfer bus and..........You've guest it....they had no knowledge of us, even though I had the Transfer Voucher and no other bus was available. So we caught a taxi...cost Euro50. Had to get taxi back to airport Euro50. I kept all receipts and made a complaint...but they didn't even reply. So I'm 136 Euros out of pocket...100 for taxi and 36 paid for the transfer which wasn't there. That would have paid for a boat hire for two days....or 2 sumptious meals in the evenings.

Last July flew out to Spain on along awaited holiday as pre booked from COVID also payed lot more money to change to last year as holidays were dearer but had no choice but to prebook knowing we could be called back at any time cause of covid, when arrived in Spain found out holiday had been cancelled the day before, had nightmare getting home on same day costing one thousand pounds to get home, after a lot of phone calls we eventually got holiday money back, but not cost of getting home and no apology, my advice is keep away. If I told you the whole story you would think I lied absolute nightmare this is the short version. Definitely do not book with teletext

I booked a holiday to crete pre lock down but continued to keep paying during lockdown in installments as we were worried we would loose our dep but in the end our trip was cancelled and we could never contact them since about a refund, they gave false emails to Contact and then they even claimed our Ryanair flight money also... So we got absolutely nothing back and we are devastated that we have been conned by teletext holidays

This is the WORST company ever!!! I booked a holiday for me and my mum. It got cancelled because of covid. Phoned and phoned for a refund… they didn’t give us one. (I’m still waiting for my money 2 years later !!! I’m sick of this, you will pay up for all these people you have done wrong too!!!

I wouldn't give this company any stars , passed from pillar to post put down a deposit in Sept 2021 for Sept 2022 phoned the company up and my booking had been changed to truly travel, phoned them up and its the same company only changed their name , can't find my booking so they are away with my money and don't even try to get it back from your bank because as it was a deposit there non refundle, absolute scum of the earth teletext holidays!!!!!

So sadly I have fallen into the Teletext/ Truly Travel rip off trap too. I booked 2 holidays in August 2021 - one in September 2021 and one for March 2022 (which I paid £500 deposit for) Went on holiday to Tenerife with my husband in September 2021 - arrived ok, hotel wouldn't let us in the room as they had not been paid by Teletext ! Spent 6 hours on the phone (my mobile phone) trying to get it resolved between the hotel Manager and Teletext (can't believe they answered the phone)! Robert at Teletext was ok but kept telling me he would call me back then didn't - they then told me to pay for the accommodation again ! I totally refused and after several more stressful, tearful phone calls, finally the Hotel finally gave us a room! Totally stressed out and ruined the first few days of our holiday. Got home and emailed several times to complain to Teletext, and to ask them to reassure me it wouldn't happen again on my next holiday in March 2022 (with my husband and 2 children) I had no reply, I telephoned several times, but they never picked up and/or my calls were cut off. On October 29th we saw that they had gone bust but still trading under Truly Travel Ltd. Sent emails to new email address (still no reply - still no phone number to contact). I sent a recorded letter to an address for Truly Travel in November. Royal Mail got a signature but I still never got a response. I started to find other reviews on this site etc and in the news of people in the same situation who have experienced the same thing or worse, the terrible customer service and being completely ignored. I eventually got an email on 24th December (Christmas Eve) and a week before the final payment date (31st December) telling me my holiday was still going ahead or I needed to pay 100% of the holiday cost if I wanted to cancel or I could go ahead with my holiday and reply within 48 hours. No response to my complaint, no reassurance, nothing. I replied telling them that they had ignored me for months but they are still insisting that I either pay up either way whether i travel with them or not. No way am I travelling with this company again or paying them any more of my money so they can leave me stranded (again) with my children in a foreign country. I have since seen further complaints on here, on TV etc about how awful they are - so looks like i have lost my £500 for sure but no way will I give them another dime ! Just wish I had read the reviews sooner :-( criminals who are working under the guise of a travel company - how are they still allowed to operate and take people's hard earned money - daylight robbery ! Lesson to self - even though I am quite a suspicious person by nature and consider myself quite savvy in most way - I realise I should use these sites and do proper reviews on companies and that even proper companies who have been around for years and were good in the past, can all turn bad - trust nobody !

Disgusting. Will never use again. Holiday cancelled 2020 may never received any money back . Kept saying you can have a voucher that's it . Got money back on credit card. Only for them to take it back . Give up warning never use .

I’m STILL WAITING ON MY REFUND!!!! This company are not even acknowledging my email requests for a refund. My holiday was to be taken in June 2020. AVOID AT ALL COST IS MY EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! Very very negative. They take your money and ignore your requests for your money back when the holiday was cancelled. They clear have someone who reads these reviews and replies with “ very sorry to hear this, please contact us so we can sort this out” they DONT reply back when you do email!!!! The person on here is only to make readers think the company care! They don’t as my experience shows!!! Disgusting company!!
