Oct 15,2020Had surveyors from other companies who were very negative, tales of woe regarding our preferred siting for the new boiler and telling us we would require a whole new system. Contacted the Boiler Exchange and Chris visited us the same day. Straight away we were impressed by Chris' positive attitude and sound knowledge telling us exactly how we could achieve what others had claimed was not possible. A few days later James arrived and installed our new boiler. James and his assistant were outstanding and the job was completed efficiently that day with no issues, and no mess afterwards. I'm delighted that we chose the boiler exchange to install our new boiler. Communication with the office was also first class. On the two occasions when I queried the office Linda got back to me right away with the relevant information. Definitely easy to recommend. Very nice people.

Oct 13,2020Met Chris on Friday and new boiler fitted by James the following Monday. Really pleasant lad. Arrived at 830 away just after 230. No mess and really pleased with the boiler. By asking around I know the price I paid is definitely competitive. No hesitation in using this company again

I was surprised when Chris gave me the price as the other 5 companies either did not turn up or were more expensive. The fitter on the job was tidy putting dust sheets down and the job was completed to a very high standard.

Oct 09,2020Good from start to finish. Achieved some elements of the install that some others said I would have to do or they would not do. The install went to plan and after a few months I can say everything technically is working well. Final point.. Good people to deal with. I would recommend.

Oct 03,2020Chris from The Boiler Exchange came out to do the survey for my boiler replacement and was very pleasant and professional, he advised us on the best boiler for our needs and explained everything that would happen on the day, the price quoted was much cheaper than Scottish Gas so we went ahead with this, James arrived on the day and he too was very friendly and professional and replaced the old boiler with no fuss and cleaned up afterwards, he also programmed the timer for us, both Chris and James told us to contact them any time if there was anything we needed help with, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Boiler Exchange if anyone was thinking of replacing they're old boiler.

Oct 01,2020I submitted an online request for a quote for a new boiler and with 5 mins received a call from Chris who was able to come to the house the same day to do a survey. He recommended a Viessman combi boiler to replace my existing 25yr+ system boiler and explained what work would be carried out on the day of install. The price was very competitive and I was offered the option to pay cash or finance. Day of install, James arrived early and was very quick in getting the old system disconnected and removed and the new boiler installed and up and running. everything was done as explained during the site survey and no mess was left afterwards. Once install was complete he explained how to use the boiler and Hive thermostat. The boiler itself is very quiet and the water pressure from the hot water tap is very good, much better than before, which I did not expect. The Hive thermostat is also very easy to use and configure. you can easily connect to your phone to control the temperature. All correspondance from the office was also dealt with very quickly and I would have no hesitation in recommending The Boiler Exchange to anyone looking to upgrade their boiler.

All boxes etc and the old boiler were removed no mess what so ever. Based on our experience (so far) I would recommend the company.

Sep 30,2020Had a new combi boiler installed recently and couldn't fault any aspects of the sales/installation. Engineers arrived early morning and had completed the job by early afternoon. Workmanship was of a high quality and mess was minimal. Good communication throughout too. Would highly recommend the boiler exchange company to others.

Sep 19,2020From beginning to end Chris and his team were first class We had a boiler that ran at 29kw so I was going to go for same thing, Chris advised on a 35kw which made a big difference to the water pressure. After boiler and radiator fitted we ran into a few problems none of which was the fault of in installers, but they went out of their way to help us out, I would definitely recommend them Alan&Carol

Sep 18,2020The Boiler Exchange were very quick in responding to my request for a quote to replace 18 yr old boiler, organising a visit and providing me with a price. Chris talked through all the features of the boiler he recommended and after receiving other quotes I decided to go ahead with the installation. This was arranged very quickly and the friendly team that installed were very thorough in their work, tidying up after themselves and regularly keeping me up to date how it was going. So far I haven't used the heating side of things so I can't review that, hence the missing star. But otherwise I am very happy with The Boiler Exchange's service.

Sep 18,20201st class service. My boiler was condemned in the morning and I phoned Boiler Exchange mid morning. Chris came out to see me that evening and explained everything in great detail (I normally do not like salesmen and my biggest fear is having to listen to one) but he was totally different, I felt so comfortable in his company! My new boiler (along with Hive) was fitted 2 days later. An excellent job from both engineers and by the time they left I felt as though they were old friends. Would highly highly recommend this company

Sep 14,2020Massive thanks to Chris and his team! Excellent service and communication throughout the process of us getting a new replacement boiler and all new radiators. The hubby dealt with Chris initially and I felt I wanted to speak to him to cover everything that was happening. This was no problem to Chris and he came back to see us and explained it all to me. He recommended a 35kw boiler despite other companies recommending 30kw and I am so glad I went with his advice. The shower is like a new one and so powerful. The fitting of the boiler and radiators was done in a day and no problems at all. We had a slight issue with a bracket on a radiator being loose and it was promptly replaced the next day. Would absolutely recommend the boiler exchange for price, service and workmanship! Such a smooth process with little upheaval. We are very happy customers! With a toasty house and 10year guarantee on the boiler. Can’t ask for better than that! Thanks guys.

Sep 05,2020Just over a week ago, Chris visited my home, to do a wee survey, and check what's required for my new boiler (he responded to my online enquiry within less than an hour too!), and we agreed to Viessmann Vitodens 050 to be fitted few days later (with 10 years warranty, by the way, for a piece of mind). A day or so before the boiler fitting, Linda emailed me the confirmation of the time of engineer's arrival, and payment details - so far, so good. Come Wednesday, the engineer - James (whom I have known before - small world!) - arrives bright and early, and crack on with the job right away. I had to go to work, so I've left James to finish the work, and he posted the keys through the letterbox. After I came back, all was left nice and tidy, clearly James knows his job, and now I'm having a great new boiler, ready for winter gloom! Great service from all mentioned above - Chris, Linda, and especially from James! Many thanks guys! Sep 03,2020Replaced 20 year old Worcester high flow boiler and had put it off as I thought it would be a huge messy job. Chris completed a home survey and promised me no mess, one day to complete and assurances of an excellent job. I was rather skeptical but Chris delivered exactly what he promised. James arrived on time did an excellent job extracting old boiler, removing and filling old flue, fitting new pipe, boiler and new flue. James was very efficient and actually finished earlier than we had expected. James also left absolutely no waste and worked in a tidy organised manner. Both Chris and James were a delight to deal with. Both kept us up to date with what was happening and even checking in after the boiler was fitted to ensure we were happy. I don't normally give reviews but I was so pleased with this company I feel they deserve the review for delivering what they promised and that bit more. Excellent job delivered with confidence would highly recommend.
