Sep 03,2020I was changing from a very old system boiler to a new combi boiler and I was worried about the potential disruption. Chris, the salesman, explained everything in great detail and assured me that there would be minimal disruption and mess. Although I was a bit cynical, I have to admit that everything went really well and there was virtually no mess. The boiler Chris recommended was the Vitodens 050-W. James, the engineer, arrived on time on each of the 2 days (took around 1.5 days to complete) and made sure that he cleared up at the end of each day. He made a very good job of fitting the new boiler and removing the old hot water cistern from the upstairs cupboard. He had to remove the old flue and insert a new one, which meant that there would be a gap in the outside wall. Chris sourced new red bricks, which he managed to match up very well and this, coupled with the way that James fitted them, meant that it is barely noticeable that new bricks have been inserted. I had been planning to get a new boiler for a number of years but was always worried about the disruption and price. I did shop around and found the price to be very reasonable. I can honestly say that I am very happy with the service and price provided by the Boiler Exchange Company and have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars. I would recommend them to anyone else thinking of getting a new boiler installed. The boiler is working great and I can’t quite believe how hot my radiators get, within a few minutes of switching the boiler on. I have only been able to put the heating on for a max of 30 minutes at any time and I only use one or 2 radiators at any time, as the house gets very hot very quickly now. I realise that we are not yet into winter but I have no doubt that this boiler will provide more than enough heat for me. I had the boiler installed 2 weeks ago and, co-incidentally, my annual service check was due with British Gas. Although I don’t need the cover now, as I have a 10 year warranty for the boiler, I decided to let them come out and complete their check, as I had paid for it and felt this would give me additional peace of mind. The British Gas engineer confirmed that the boiler had been fitted exceptionally well and he had absolutely nothing to do other than note that everything was working well. Fully deserving of 5 stars.

The 2 men who fitted my new boiler couldn’t have been more helpful and were very professional. Boiler is working fine and I am very happy with the service I received.

Aug 21,2020An excellent job well done, and keenly priced too. Before deciding on The Boiler Exchange I'd read many previous good reviews. The team were on the receiving end of lots of high praise. Fact is, it's well earned. Great and impartial advice and guidance during the survey, and a few days later a professional and immaculate job during the installation. There were a few challenges on the job, but these were overcome, giving an entirely satisfactory solution and a quick and clean installation. I would not hesitate to recommend The Boiler Exchange. Aug 18,2020Too early to review the product itself (Viessmann 050-W) but it looks nice and less noisy. I felt the control system a bit complicated and the operations manual is not very clear. That said, the survey and installation were carried out smoothly. Overall, a first class service from "The Boiler Exchange" team, i.e., Chris, James and Linda.

The installation ran smoothly and was completed in a single day. The engineer ran me through everything. While the quote was not the cheapest the we are glad we went with the Boiler Exchange. Overall an easy process.

Jul 27,2020Just had a combi boiler installed after 25yrs of an old hot water tank/gravity system. Very pleased. James arrived before the allotted time, which was perfect, and just got on with the work non stop. The disruption was kept to the very minimum and everything cleared up and explained at completion. I've been very impressed from my first contact, through to home visit from Chris, the work by James and the prompt response to my emails from Linda. All in all, great job. House has rarely been warmer and loving hot water 'on tap'. (Pardon the pun)

Jul 19,2020We contacted The Boiler Exchange to convert our ageing, clanky, low water pressure heating and hot water system. From initial contact with Chris, he was onsite the next day doing a thorough site survey and really took time to listen to our requirements. We wanted a quiet, efficient boiler, mains pressure water upstairs so that we could have a great shower. Our kitchen was always freezing in the winter so we wanted an extra radiator. We also wanted HIVE installed. Chris advised as Viessmann Vitodens combi boiler which has absolutely transformed our heating and hot water system. When our 11yr old walks out the shower and says, dad, that shower though...WOOOOWW. There is no higher praise. Mum and Dad agreed too! Jamie our heating engineer worked tirelessly over 2 days to install the system. He worked cleanly and the quality of the install is fantastic. Our house fought back a few times with pipes put in strange places by the original builder, but it was no drama. Jamie calmly dealt with it, a real professional. Chris, Jamie and Linda kept us completely informed with the process, which was really straightforward and hassle free. We are very happy with our system and would happily use the folks at The Boiler Exchange again. PS. The anniversary treat was greatly appreciated and a very nice touch.

Jul 17,2020The guys were excellent, poor Jamie had a lot to deal with today but pushed through and kept working to get everything sorted and up and running for us - I’m really grateful for the hard work and effort put in. We’d been having trouble with our boiler that was on its last legs so I put in an enquiry on the website and got a call in under 30 minutes. We met with Chris on the Monday and he was great - really knew what he was talking about and such a down to earth, friendly guy - then our boiler was installed on the Thursday so really impressed! Throughout the whole process the communication has been great and Jamie has done a brilliant job I’m really pleased 😁 thanks guys for a job well done 👍🏼
