Oct 05,2019A definite 5 out of 5! The installation was hassle free and went very smoothly. It was a pleasure to watch Fred the engineer working, he is obviously extremely competent, and after the replacement was fitted all rubbish was removed. And I only had to make him one cup of tea! I would definitely recommend the Boiler Exchange to anybody considering a new or replacement boiler or central heating system.

Sep 25,2019From the initial contact for the estimate and explanation of work to be carried out, to the installation date, the service received was outstanding. The engineer turned out on time and was very professional and took great pride in his work and went the extra mile to try and make the job as neat as possible hiding majority of pipes. After installation engineer cleaned everything up, so there were no traces that such a major job had happened. At end of job we received detailed explanation on how to use the wireless thermostat. Been using everything for about a week now and all is working great. Really pleased with everything, would definitely recommend.

Aug 15,2019Really pleased with the service we got from The Boiler Exchange. They gave a highly competitive quote, and were very knowledgeable and polite on the first visit. There were no pushy sales tactics, we were just presented with the facts and sound advice. The installation was also a seamless experience, with no mess at all left afterwards and everything done to a very high standard. Communication was first class throughout also. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family, and will be using them to service our excellent new boiler from now on.

Jul 30,2019Christ the surveyor came round to assess the job and explain what would be happening. I was getting a back boiler removed and a condenser boiler installed. Everything was made clear about the job and he indicated best place to install new boiler. A couple of other companies I tried wouldn't send out a surveyor which did not fill me with confidence as this was not a completely straight forward job. Fred the fitter arrived on the due date and the whole thing took less than two days to complete. He did the work with the minimum of mess/upheaval and left everything tidy. Was very happy with the service I received from start to finish and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Jun 28,2019Very easy process. Chris the surveyor was friendly and professional and not too pushy. Fred the installer was excellent, friendly and worked quickly and happily. Very tidy install. A small niggle with thermostat was solved without any fuss so I'm confident any future issues will be handled well. . Total price was competative. Overall very happy.

Sep 03,2018This was a new installation,not a replacement. The standard of work was excellent.the upheaval of getting floor boards @ laminated floors lifted was kept to a minimum.the engineers were first class both in the quality of their work & their personality being in your home for 3 to 4 days. A lot less stressful than I thought. Highly recommend.

Oct 16,2019The Old "New boiler scenario". Herewith is my experience..... My old boiler on a Sunday early hours packs in spilling water and tripping fuses. 6.30am I begin searching for quotes... Around 10 am, a kind guy called chris gives me a call to discuss what he could do for me remeber this is a Sunday! After some delicate negotiations Chris kindly called round to the house (still sunday) and viewed our situation, albeit it was going to be trickier than what was originally thought over the phone, he honoured his quote. Thursday, a kind engineer called Fred arrives 7.30am... The day began and fred began extracting our 27 year old boiler and then installing the new superior German counterpart which was hand in hand with a 10 year guarantee (peace of mind). Fred had a busy day to say the least, he was a pleasure to be around, and I spent most of my day keeping him company as he was a nice guy and I didn't have to go to work until the evening. His personality and workmanship are unquestionably exquisite. He had kindly taken the time to mark out simple things as which exact shelf height cupboards where at before removing shelves, truly attention to detail. Now a long day, no lunch breaks or newspaper breaks and we are at 19.00 in the evening, and our good friend Fred has put in one hero shift and our house has been turned into a sauna! Sadly I didn't get to say goodbye as I was at work but my wife was shown how everything operated etc. To summarise in my personal view: An independent company, excellently priced, excellent employees, and an excellent service. In my opinion avoid the TV advertising names and go with smaller independent companies, I would recommend The boiler exchange, over half the price of a large name installer and they have produced a longer warranty! I cant thank them enough, especially Fred! He was a top guy and was a pleasure hosting him as he installed the old Viessmann!! And Linda in the office will have your documents out to you in very orderly timescales! Thanks to all of you involved, it was a pleasure. Would have no hesitation in recommending.
