There weren’t many things I did like. I’m 85 and found handling the phone really difficult. And as I also have hearing aids the instructions were difficult to follow. All in all having to repeatedly prove my British nationality and existence is profoundly disappointing. Why when you have done this for one firm/agency can’t the proof be shared by other firms??
Quick and efficient
The helpline was helpful. But the instructions were opaque when it came to whether the information needed related to an executor or the original owner. Also asking for bills less than 3 months old relating to someone who died earlier than that was not a very good idea. Also assumed everyone has a current passport - I don't. They need to tailor the request for information to what is appropriate and practical for the circumstances, not assume that one size fits all.

Robert was very helpful in guiding me through the process of dealing with the app. It appeared to be daunting at the start.
Despite being of the older generation (and hence possibly less tech savvy) and being severely sight impaired, I found the app and its instructions remarkably easy to use! One thing I would recommend is improving the way instructions are conveyed during the facial screening exercise. Once glasses are removed reading an instruction such as ‘move closer’ is a ‘non-starter’! Could such things be vocalised as a default perhaps.

I had to verify an important transaction and, for various reasons, the documents I had access to didn't work. Gigi, at customer service, was absolutely brilliant and helped me forward clearly and with charm. Excellent customer service for which I am very grateful!
Easy to use app, was sent reminders that tasks still needed to be completed and when I had questions, tahira from customer support was excellent and able to help

Hiccups trying to do two people on the same phone but sorted by the help desk A list of all documents required would be useful and no need to pre photograph documents as app is good for that.

I found this platform very easy and straightforward to use. I appreciate where my data is stored and that I can have it deleted at anytime. The level of information requested does not concern me as there is precious little of import on my CdS and EDF bill.
Had issues carrying out ID checks on Thirdfort. Spoke to Rob, and he was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. It was quick and easy.
The process was comparatively easy, apart from the final section which required proof of ownership of my mums house. My brother had these details, but I had to complete the process a second time, but skipping the final section - all a bit messy!
Prompt, crisp and immediately completed the request.
On the whole, I found it relatively easy to complete the process. I had some difficulty with the chip reading. The image showing where the chip would be located differed from my passport in that there is no "globe" icon above the chip icon. I eventually managed a successful read but it was very much by trial and error. I was aware that my passport was digital but the scanning devices at airports only use the photo page and not the front cover. An explanation stating that the chip icon on the front cover indicates the location of the chip would be useful. I didn't navigate the Auto document image capture very well and had to use the Manual option. Possibly some textual guidelines prior to the start of the section may be helpful. (It could have been me of course!)
