Feb 27,2025What a struggle that was. I had to scan three pages of my passport, including the chip which I had no idea where to find. It wasn’t on the page shown in the instructions, so I randomly scanned pages until I found it. Then it wouldn’t accept a photo of my bank statement and so it went on. Not a great experience, but got it done in the end. Next time I’ll do it the old fashioned way.

Feb 26,2025For me it was great BUT for my husband the app wouldn’t upload pictures and despite getting in touch with the team who asked him to upload a photo of the message (Hello he couldn’t upload pictures which was the reason he contacted them. That was the level of support.

Feb 26,2025Fairly intuitive to use. However , the photo option for documents takes continuously in an uncontrolled manner. I’m sure random images weren’t required (feet, ceiling). There was no visible option on my iPhone to desist or upload once desired document was selected. The solution was to ignore the’use camera’ optionand to upload a photo of the document from my photo folder. The rest worked fine. Also, if the opening menu gave tips e.g. if you want to use a driving licence as proof of address, better to use your passport as your initial proof of identity.

Feb 26,2025In comparison to other ID checking apps this one is really helpful. It scans passport pages rather than relying on the user taking photos. My one criticism is that it seems to me that if you skip a step, it doesn't seem to offer the opportunity to revisit that step, meaning you have to do additional uploads to complete the full task. It may be an error on my part but more explanation on what happens if you skip a step would be more reassuring.

Feb 25,2025In general the app is good but it might help to have a comment box in each section to explain any anomalies I.e. I can't input a payslip as I have retired. I don't have a fixed income as I use income drawdown against my SIPP and so only take out what I need when I need it.
