Feb 22,2025I used the app to undertake a verification check as part of an on-boarding process. It is an extremely well designed and user friendly app. Each section is clearly signposted and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The process of uploading documents is very straightforward. It saves a huge amount of time and avoids having to provide original documents or certified copies. If every organisation that had to verify the identity of their client used this app the world would be a better place.

Feb 21,2025All good until it wouldn't accept my passport 'checking the chip'. I then tried to confirm identity another way - simply wouldn't let me.... came up with a 'something went wrong' message.... then got stuck in a loop trying to ID me via my passport - which wouldn't confirm the chip - and back into 'something went wrong' error... cleared the cache.... turned of the phone - na didn't work same error - crazy!!!

Feb 20,2025I found this app intensely frustrating. I needed to provide proof of identity for routine solicitor matter. My mobile no had been provided to Thirdfort who texted me on this number, instructing me to install their app and follow instructions. I did this, and entered all my personal details as requested. Following this, not only did I have to photograph and upload both sides of my driving licence (which of course has photo, d.o.b and address) , I then had to take and upload still selfie, take and upload video selfie and also take pic of recent utility bill and upload. It took forever! Too much unnecessary duplication of proof of identity needed. I was losing the will you live by the time I’d finished.

Feb 19,2025It is way too detailed and takes a very long time to enter all that was requested. The passport scan took about 15 attempts before accepting. For anybody not confident using apps it would be frightening. What options have you available for them or who do not have smart phones or PC.

Feb 24,2025When downloading a bank statement from my banking app as proof of address. The banking app does not load it straight into this app but creates a pdf. Then trying to navigate to it through this app is extremely difficult as it was saved as a alpha numeric without even a time stamp. Extremely frustrating to say the least. In the end I had to give up and send it manually via email which is risky to say the least.
