Jun 21,2022I filled an online form in and attached a couple of photos which I thought was possibly a damp problem. I received a telephone call which unfortunately I missed but a voicemail had been left informing me an email had been sent to me. Jenna had emailed me detailed information which was extremely helpful and also from the enclosed photos identified the problem as a condensation issue not damp. Also how to deal with it. Such a helpful company giving free advice is a very good experience and should I need to use them in the future would have no hesitation in using them.

Jun 10,2022After contacting Rachel late in the afternoon to discuss a potential infestation I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Ashley mere moments later. Ashley was incredibly reassuring in manner and with the provision of sound advice, actively researching whilst gaining information from me with regards to my discovery. The service I received from Timberwise this afternoon far exceeded my expectations and I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again if their expertise is required in the future.

May 31,2022Craig came round today to quote for damp work in our new home in Bristol, after the survey identified a possible issue. He was very thorough, took the time to check out three different rooms and explained everything he was looking for. To my happy surprise he found no evidence of damp and so no work to be done. Having had a hefty quote from another specialist who had clearly guessed at the issue without investigating fully, I was very impressed by Craig's professionalism and honesty. I would certainly give Timberwise my business if I did have damp (but am pleased to have discovered that I don't!)

Jan 15,2022I’m always nervous when booking any type of ‘trades’ because of some bad experiences in the past. I must admit, from start to finish, the team at Timberwise were excellent. From the surveyor Tim, who took the time to discuss and explain, through to the the technicians who actually came to do the work. My partner and I were expecting lots of mess and cleaning post the work. From the time the technicians arrived to the time they left, they made sure that everything was covered up and cleaned up meticulously when the left. I also wanted to say a huge thanks to Anouska who was the Contracts Manager. We had to move dates around for various reasons and Anouska was always helpful and accommodating. From start to finish the team at Timberwise were the epitome of professional.

Craig the surveyor was excellent: punctual, friendly, efficient and highly knowledgable - he gave us plenty of advice in our consultation and really calmed our nerves about the house we’d just bought. We would highly recommend this service and we will definitely call Craig if we have any problems arise in the future.

Nov 17,2021Overall the service was unsatisfactory and did not meet expectations, given the cost. The positives: the back office were very responsive, accessible and helpful in resolving issues and communicating updates. Unfortunately, the fact that they had to resolve a number of issues is a testament to service received. There were a number of delays which meant a job that was supposed to be 1-2 weeks took six weeks. Work had to be redone and messages repeated a number of times as the team changed over the course of the job. Finally, the work itself was compromised requiring additional guarantees.

Oct 24,2021Tim from Timberwise came out to check what work we needed given surveyor has flagged we might have woodworm in two areas. After a really thorough investigation, he concluded both were old occurences and not needing treatment. Would have been very easy to say otherwise but was honest and thorough throughout. Highly recommend and will def come back if/when needed

Jun 22,2022Had Tim from Timberwise (Bristol/Dorset?) to my victorian property. We have a troublesome basement floor, below ground. Thought 25 year old tanking (done by another company and out of guarantee) had failed because of numerous problem areas that were presenting. Expected the worse. He took the time to say no need to retank yet and even though the visit was at no charge to me, Tim took the time to explain what the issues were, what I could do to avoid them in future and what to tell the decorators when we get redecorated. Felt reassured I was getting great advice (absolutely no-upselling).
