Poor quality goods and extremely poor customer service online who refused to escalate a formal complaint after buying Ben Sherman slippers as a Xmas gift that lasted 8 weeks, the soles came away from the slippers. Photo evidence provided. I can only get a refund if I provide a bank statement or receipt? Why keep a receipt for slippers that fit? Who has bank statements these days?! T K Max sell low quality goods. A very stressful experience, I’m reporting to trading standards under the consumer rights act. Read your reviews T K Max I am not alone in having this experience! Learn by your mistakes and improve your service!
Just an awful row coming out of the speakers in their stores, too much for my sensitive ears, wont be back. I dont need advise, just an enjoyable QUIET shopping experience
I had a fantastic experience in Stockport TK Maxx recently. I bought a shelving unit and lovely Sam carried it out for me smiling and chatting all the way. He took great care and was so polite. Great guy. Please let him know how his cheerful attitude was so appreciated. Perhaps he could give a lesson in customer service and pleasantries to the managers and staff at TK in Cheadle.
I have received an email- mail , saying I have had a reply. But it is not on here or anywhere, that i can find .
Said they'd sent my chair, blamed it on Parcel Force when two days late it still hadn't come and said it would take another two days to let me know why it hadn't actually been sent. Useless.

I had to phone customer service with an issue I had with a product I had bought that was faulty. Lauren B. Was so very helpful. She responded swiftly to my phone call and emails and the whole process was completed within 46 minutes…. including issuing a gift card /voucher! Excellent service…. Highly recommended!
Absolute joke of a loyalty scheme. I’ve been using their ‘treasure’ card for over a year collecting keys from my purchases online and in-store. Once you collect 6 keys you’re able to ‘cash them in’ on a freebie of their offering, I’ve had some nice wrapping paper before as well as a hair care set. What I recently found out however is that if you don’t claim a reward within 6 weeks of getting the 6th key, ALL THE KEYS “EXPIRE” AND ARE GONE FOREVER. This is not a loyalty scheme at all. There is no need for an expiration of virtual keys earned by customers on frequent shops. It’s put me off buying from you in the future if this is how loyalty is treat.
Hello I absolutely love TK Maxx, however a few times now- I have had damaged products delivered to me. I haven’t got the time to return it now but I am very gutted. I would be happy to share photos of my experience.
Ich habe eine Reklamation und erhalte auch nach Monaten keinerlei Antwort auf meine Emails bzgl. einer Rückgabe! Eine absolute Frechheit! Habe in der Vergangenheit sehr viel bei TK Maxx online gekauft. Es gab auch eine erreichbare Hotline bei Problemen mit Rückzahlungen. Diese existiert jetzt auch nicht mehr. Das war definitiv mein letzter Einkauf!
I've been a TK customer for over a decade (when I started to earn my own money) and never had an issue with either in store or online until now. I've ordered 2 pairs of earrings (one of them for myself and one pair for my mums upcoming birthday), some bedding and a cream from tkmaxx online. Everything arrived apart from the most expensive earrings. The bags didn't look like they've been hampered with but the box of the earrings was empty. I've dealt with customer service and they are not able to help me at all. They said everything was good on their side and they also have a proof earrings were there (I haven't been shown that proof). I suspect they have a thief in the warehouse or they don't check their stock properly (worker might have just pack the box where earrings were supposed to be without checking the content). I've lost £60! Can you imagine if you buy some more expensive item? They have jewellery that can cost ££££! I'm very disappointed to be treated like that by one of my favourite retailers.
Visited TK Maxx in Tooting and won’t be going back. The store was a mess, with clothes all over the place and hardly any staff around to help. When I finally found someone to ask about a missing price tag, they acted like I was bothering them. At checkout, the cashier was rude and barely acknowledged me. Felt really uncomfortable, like customers were an inconvenience. Definitely not the kind of service you expect.
AVOID regent road Manchester, Bought a shirt with pen down it a few months ago & returned it . Noticed it back out for sale the week after,. This has happened twice. They dont care and just hang things back out. Manager is awful and twice when I have tried to return things she has treated me like a criminal. Even shouting infront of the queue. Never ever wrote a Trustpilot review before but this is actually obsurd behaviour from someone customer facing
Don’t buy jewellery from TK Maxx. I bought a necklace on line with my retirement gift and a different box arrived that was empty. They are saying the warehouse definitely packed and posted it. I’ve asked why it wasn’t in the box advertised and how can they prove the warehouse packed. I am totally shocked at the complete lack of customer care. Nothing they can do the necklace was sent they say. They can’t explain why I was sent a completely different box albeit was empty. I am so upset that a special gift has been spoilt by this. I have spent thousands with TK Maxx over the years and am shocked at how badly they have dealt with this situation. £396 for an empty box. Afterwards you get the cut and paste response from ‘Harmony’ please contact …. I have about ten times and the answer is the same - not our fault, nothing we can do
DONT USE CLICK AND COLLECT..MY 2 ITEMS MISSING ALL THEY SAY IT WAS PACKED AND SHIPED TO STORE .LOST 30£ .
The jeans I ordered were a poor fit so I returned them the next day. A couple of weeks later they were sent back to me with a note saying I couldn’t return them as either they weren’t returned in time (they were) or they had been worn (they hadn’t, I had opened them, tried them and then put them straight back in the package. When I received them they had no labels which is how they were sent to me. A big con and waste of money.
I was put wrong address on my delivery, i contacted tkmaxx straigt away before they send it, they told me change to collect whrn i receive tracking number and i did it, i called royal mail to confirm about collecting it and said no problem will be! And guess they still deliver my items to wrong address and my itrm was lost! I have all emails and screenshot they still don't refund my money!

Mar 06,2025Good morning , I am the customer and had an very bad experience in tak max guildford store . I bought a coat for my mum in January the 12/24. In two weeks I found th item is faulty and bit tight for my mum so I back to the store unfortunately I don't have received on that time so they said they can't do any thing. Next visited in my third visit they said they look it in that in the system that I have spent in two transaction £486. But they said it's difficult to find them so the manager in guildford named Mat gave me contact number Watford I contacted the customer service they gave me reference number. With that reference number I been to the store on 3/03/25 And lucky found the receipt. With reference number and receipt I back to the store and asked them that I'm regular customer and showed them the proof and broken button coat. The store manager didn't help and said yo me this is out of date I have replied to him yes but please do not count the time frame bacuse I am keep coming to you. He said he can not do any thing ,so I dialed the customer service online number again while I were in the store. The lady received a call and asked me on the phone for wait and she resolved after long time wait the lady said the store manager said to her item is not faulty which is totally lied. I asked the the lady who was on the desk she said yes the buttons are broken . Please uf you want you also can check in the camera in the store that how much I suffered. The manager was very rude to me please check the camera he was totally discriminate with me. The proofs are attached. I was concerned and asked them where should I gi if I want to make complaint they said it's intirely on the store manager no one can do anything so I found your email online is there anything you can do . Or I will make a further bad review about the all happened to me . It's not about the money it's about my respect . And I said to them if they can exchange the item. Regards
