Bought 2 plush pram suits back in August as a gift for a baby due at the end of this month, just went to wrap them & noticed one has a hole in the seam & the other has one foot bigger than the other, very poor quality.
Hello I do not write reviews first time. I needed to say thank you. My daughter was being chased by boys and threaten in charlton London, She ran by a security man from tkmaxx name Steve who got between my daughter and the boys and his actions made boys go away, Steve then used his own phone to contact me and waited with my daughter till I was able to pick her up. My daugter and i so grateful, thank you Steve I hope this message reaches you xxx
Bought a crosshatch jacket for my son that fell apart within 2 weeks. This store sells trash and wouldn’t miss it if it went the way of Wilkos. Staff usually miserable and rude regretting their minimum wage existence.
My pregnant girlfriend went into tk maxx in havant at 2.30 pm today and she was happy to be out shopping for baby bits. She returned home in distress as she was hounded by security and made to feel like a criminal. I was made to feel the same when I visited, I dress and look well and so does my partner. So for her to be followed by security from the moment she walked in until the moment she left feeling awful, she was wearing maternity clothes and has more than enough to pay for anything she wanted, we have been customers of tk maxx for years and we will no longer be using them. Shame on you.
Paid £6 99 for next day delivery, 3 days later still waiting, and website says still processing!!!
I've always been a huge fan of Tk Maxx for as long as I can remember, and shop at least twice a month. Unfortunately their Trasure rewards programme is unfit for purpose and a bit of a con really. I've spent circa £600 this month, collected all the keys and my wonderful, loyal reward is to be entered into a prize draw, choices I'm not remotely interested in! Wow, just wow - thanks 😮
Avoid at all cost. Ordered two Pearl bracelets which were substituted with totally unsuitable bracelets. Rang Holly and agreed they could be returned and a link would be sent to reclaim postage. This has still not been done. Received refunds email which is completely missing one item (worth £21). Very disappointed am 65 years old and a lifetime customer. If you use this company do not expect to get what you order and pay for. Expect to receive a substitution and pay to return it
My order was sent to completely the wrong address, in a county miles from where I actually live. When I rang to try to resolve their mistake, I was told I would have to contact the courier company to try to sort it out myself. Very disappointing service.

I purchased a Zaghis Panettoncino cake from Birmingham Bullring TKMaxx store on the date of October 17, 2023 and upon consuming it, I made a rather distressing discovery that has prompted me to bring this issue to your attention. While enjoying the cake, I encountered something unexpected and unsettling. To my dismay, I found a foreign object within the cake, and after closer inspection, it was revealed to be an insect. This discovery naturally raised serious concerns about the quality and safety of the products offered in your store. The presence of an insect in a food product is not only unappetizing but also a significant health hazard. This incident has left me deeply worried about the potential risks it poses to the health and well-being of other customers who may have purchased similar products from your store. Ensuring the safety and quality of the items you offer to consumers is of utmost importance, and I believe that this situation should be addressed promptly and effectively. I kindly urge you to take this matter seriously and to implement immediate measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Quality control and product inspection processes must be strengthened to ensure the safety of all your products. Negligence in this regard could have dire consequences for your customers, and I sincerely hope that you understand the gravity of the situation.
I love ❤️ this shop allways find something nice right up My street an good bargain
I had a horrible encounter with a customer services advisor in the Winchester store today. I've been a regular customer of this store for over 7 years, going in at least once a week. I have always been very welcomed by the staff and in over 500 visits I have never had any altercations; quite the opposite. However, something went badly wrong today and the member of staff clearly took a dislike to me, despite me behaving in my usual friendly and helpful way. I was returning items, one of which had separated from the price tag at the time when I bought the item. The assistant didn't believe that the item belonged to the price tag, despite me presenting her with a receipt with the item description showing clearly. She told me she was going to check for the item online and I said it wasn't online as I had wanted to buy it in the smaller size and saw that there was no stock available. She completely what I just said and carried on looking. I was secretly hoping she'd tell me she would help me find the item in my size, but that didn't happen. After a couple of minutes of not finding the item, she told me she was going to talk with her manager and then left me waiting at the desk for another 8 minutes while she spoke with one manager and then another one. When she came back she announced that the item had been verified - but she didn't apologise for the really long wait. I remarked that next time I would be better asking for a member of staff to re-attach the price tag so I didn't have such a long wait and, instead of apologising for the delay, she snapped back that she was only doing her job. I replied that I never normally have this difficulty when returning products to TKMaxx and she said 'it's not personal' in a snappy way, and I replied that it clearly is (personal). It was obvious in the way she was dealing with me that she believed I was a shoplifter and also obvious that she didn't want to deal with me, even though I had given her no reason to feel this way. In fact, I have never, ever been treated this badly by anyone in TKMaxx in all of 7 years. Then it came to the refund by which time the assistant was visibly angry. The situation had become very awkward and uncomfortable and I just wanted to leave the store and escape from the horrible atmosphere. She asked me for my original payment card and I put it into the reader and then she made me take it out in a pretty unpleasant way. There was no 'would you mind showing me your card please', which is how I have been asked by TKMaxx staff in the past. Instead she said tersely 'I need to see your card'. By now I was getting really upset and wondering what I had done to deserve such rotten treatment and I asked her 'You really do think I'm a shop lifter don't you?' and with that, she crossed her arms in front of her angrily and said 'That's it I'm not dealing with you anymore' and stormed off. Yet again I'm left standing at the till, this time for around 3 minutes but those 3 minutes felt like 3 hours as I was so upset. I have never been treated so awfully by any shop staff, let alone a TKMaxx assistant (who I have always experienced to be so lovely). Then the manager turns up and at no point apologises for the experience. He clearly thinks I am a difficult customer and that makes me feel even worse as I know that the antagonism was coming from the member of staff. The manager says in a very neutral, not kind or understanding way, that he wants to continue with the transaction and needs to understand what his colleague has done so far. I point out that the refund was about to be issued but he doesn't believe me and makes me go through all of the steps the previous girl did. He asks if I want to share what happened and I said that I didn't want to talk at the tills. I'm starting to cry by now because the whole situation was so unexpectedly difficult and so atypical of TKMaxx. Finally the transaction is done and the manager asks again if I'd like to talk about it (still no apology) but by now I can't speak because I am way too upset and I just want to get out. Learning points: For me: I will never again accept a purchase that has a product with the price tag removed. For the staff member: Please treat your customers as you would like to be treated. If you keep customers waiting for an extraordinary amount of time, remember to apologise for the wait. If you are not sure that a customer has really purchased something, don't automatically assume they are a shop lifter, and instead treat them with respect until you know for sure. If a customer talks to you, please acknowledge them and do not ignore them. If you are feeling bad, this does not mean you are entitled to treat your customers badly. For the manager: Please do not assume if a staff member has refused to deal with a customer that the customer has done something wrong. If a customer is in tears, then an apology for their bad experience would go a long way
Just wanted to give a 5 star review for Philip who works in Chesterfield store. He was so helpful and obliging and friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😇
Notbaf very good bargains
I purchased a ladies jewellery bangle in the Southampton store, but when I tried to return it and ask for a refund in their Winchester store I was told that the Winchester store could not refund me for ‘high end’ jewellery, and I would have to go back to Southampton where I bought it, this piece of high end jewellery cost £14.99 . Won’t make that mistake again!!!
The Rewards Scheme is not what I would call a reward to your customers. Twice all I have been 'rewarded' with is either giving to charity or being entered into a prize draw. As a loyal customer I would like a voucher, please. If I want to give to charity then I can do so at your till or choose my own charity, and being entered into a prize draw is no reward at all.
Michael at Hove store excellent customer service. Checked on pricing of a product without me even asking and it had been reduced further. He alerted the till staff to make sure they knew. This is above and beyond 😊. I hope Michael gets some recognition.
Good customer service. The staff are really helpful and I found the manager, Tracey particularly so! This is at the Kew Retail Park branch.
i recently ordered online for some christmas presents including fragile items such as glassware and books. Once again I am blown away by how attentive the staff are at packaging deliveries, heavier items at the bottom and more lightweight items at the top, all neatly wrapped with reusable paper wrapping. This is the third time i've ordered glassware including candles from TK Maxx online and all have reached me intact, brilliant, quick service. Really helps with a stress free Christmas Shopping

Oct 25,2023My 17 year old daughter and 12 year old niece were shopping in the atria Watford store today, when at the tills paying for there purchases they were approached by the staff who accused them of stealing a scarf. When the girls explained they didn’t have a scarf they were told to empty their bags as they were seen on cctv in the changing room the time it went missing. After going through their bags and searching the girls over no scarf was found. The girls were then discarded with not even an apology for accusing them of being thieves. The girls felt totally humiliated in front of a busy shop, the staff were really horrible to them. It’s disgusting that innocent shoppers should be treated like this when the problem is obviously in the poorly run store. Absolutely disgusting behaviour !!!!
