I have been with Tonik a few years now and have never had a problem ,compared to previous competitors they are much better,I would totally recommend them.
I've been with this company a couple of years and I'm very happy with their pricing and service. I had one issue with billing a little while ago, but it was resolved so quickly and easily, I don't hesitate to give Tonik 5 stars. Their renewal process is easy to follow, as is adding your own readings via your account page. Their environmental considerations were another reason I chose them. Very happy! Thank you Tonik :-)
Just renewed because of the deal offered by Tonik. Normally I'd seek a better deal but Tonik tarriff best I've found.
A couple of months after receiving my final bill where I was in credit Tonik have started emailing say that I have an overdue bill. I responded to their email asking for more information. 8 days later they haven't bothered to reply but have sent me another threatening demand for payment.

After a nightmare experience with Scottish Power it has been a pleasure to be with Tonik. Very helpful staff who talk sense instead of the sales bull you get with other firms. I have been with them for a year and they have kept all their promises. I was happy to renew with Tonik.

I have been fighting a case with this company since December 19, and still on going. After one month at my ONE bed flat with only an ELECTRIC meter, I was set back £280. after being told my DDs are £50 a month Numerous complaints, and 5 no show appointments after booking 2/3 weeks in advance to rectify the faulty meter, its still not sorted. Ofgem and Ombudsman now involved because they are useless and upping my DDs to £135 a month. Be careful Good luck.

I’ve been with Tonik for a year and still haven’t received any kind of bill or breakdown/summary of my energy expenditure, despite numerous requests. I have economy 7 and it’s impossible to enter electricity meter readings directly on the website so I have to email them every time they want a reading. I’m due for a contract renewal in the next couple of weeks and have tried to contact them to enquire about tariffs but have had no reply. The only thing they have done consistently is to take money from my account every month.. I’m switching supplier.
They are a good supplier until you want to leave. It is impossible to get hold of anybody over email or phone. They are currently holding almost £200 which I have overpaid and I am unable to get it back despite submitting meter readings and leaving the property two months ago. My email inquiry has been closed despite not being resolved. I understand that service may be slower due to covid however to have emails go unanswered for weeks is really bad service.
All was good for 2 years, then billing went all wrong. They haven't produced any bills for the last 8 months, and the account balance is totally wrong (over £1,000 in credit). I sent requests in March, June and August, and received no reply so I switched supplier at the end of August. I used 2 stars not 1 because I see other people had even worse experiences.
Awful experience, avoid! Switched to then in May, they have managed to gain my electric supply but not my gas some how. They have requested and requested again and again for my gas supply but no success. I've rang them 7 times now in total, waiting half an hour at a time for someone to pick up the phone. I get thrown some formal response and told to wait longer. Somebody logged it as a complaint in July, I've heard nothing from no one in regards to my "complaint" my account was sat in masses of credit. Luckily managed to get this back yesterday, but I will be getting my previous supplier to pull my electricity back and forgetting the whole thing as a mistake. Horrendous customer service, no one really seems to know what they're doing and throw you some formal persona. Avoid them at all costs.
I complied with all the change of supplier requirements, and paid my account off in full.I am still waiting for the £250 of my money to be returned to my account. Having sent more than 8 emails and been on the phone for a total of 4.5 hours, I still do not have my money. I have been promised, lied too and passed around so BBC Watchdog is my next email.I know I am not the only one!
Great when we first renewed with them and then the costs kept increasing, move to a new supplier and then been hit with a really large final bill. Their invoicing during lockdown has been a mess, communication is awful. To top it all off, my parents are trying to switch supplier and they have blocked this and won't tell us why.
I’ve had Tonik Energy for a year on a fixed contract and was very pleased they contacted me to offer me a great new package for the next year, or two years, on a fixed basis. The monthly payment is comparable to other providers that I’ve checked.
just recieved another bill from this joke of a company despite us paying fully and closing our account back in september. dont trust the 5 star 'invited' reviews- they have been input by this terrible company- do not switch to them !

Sep 10,2020I signed up to move both gas and electricity supplies, in April. We are now in September and my gas supply is still with my previous supplier. Tonik staff have contacted several times , and been very curious...however it does change the fact that a very simple action of moving from one provider to another has yet been completed 6 month on
