Shockingly awful. Provided meters readings EVERY month since started in August 2019. None, NONE, registered online (problem their end) so ended up with a huge bill (over inflated on top of that). Just don't, really, just don't even think about it.
Great prices & green energy but awful customer support lets Tonik down. I left Tonik energy in march and since then I have been trying to get the credit in my account back from them. I have been told over 5 times that I will receive my final bill & it has continued to fail to materialise. In addition to this, after calling them & being stuck in a queue for 30-40mins each time I call, they told me that they had not received my final meter readings & told me that I couldn't provide it to them myself & had to go through my current company ( who when I called them up thought this was ridiculous!) I am absolutely fed up of chasing Tonik to get my remaining credit back - I was planning on moving back to them once I had settled in my new house but this whole experience has convinced me to never switch back.
I found the options offered simple to follow with all the explanations one might need. it's left to the customer to make their choice without any pressure from Tonik Energy.
The price is good, but their bills are incomprehensible, and they keep telling me there are cheaper options they offer, but they give me no way to change to one - function is not there on their website. Emails (x3) unanswered for 4 months now, and the phone option says 'due to covid, only usable for emergencies, please use email or online' - right. They USED to have good reviews.
not answering the phone - not answering emailed questions to resolve my issue - even after emailing they leave a message clogging up your email inbox with no resolution asking you to write in again!!!!! and NOT refunding my monies - tonik are still holding on my account even though i have already switched energy suppliers. Tonik is impossible to get through to on the phone - disgusting service - hanging over 1 hour to the point i hung up on over 3 occasions each time the same time holding time- to add insult to injury - the hold message is insulting - take it OFF!!! Over an hour"!"" ''we can see that you are waiting'', just don't say anything if you cant be bothered to provide even a modicum of service levels!!!! Still no resolution on refunding monies into my account after falsely inflating my direct debits which they would not reduce and guess what - im now over £100 in credit which they are hanging on to. Multiply that by thousands of customers and look how much money they can re-invest??! STEER CLEAR.

I like tonic with their straight forward approach and had no problems with using the company.
Very poor energy provider. I provided them all my usage before switching they calculated the a quote and I signed up. 3 months later they tell me my costs will triple on current usage - which had gone up by less than 20% with Corona. To add insult to injury - more than 6 months after I had moved to another provider they just take £160 out of my account without any notification or approval. Remember to cancel your direct debits people.
I joined Tonik on 08082019 and every month they were charging me for an extra day and unit for both Electricity and Gas, When I checked my statements from last year till the current year I found that they charged me for an extra 55 days for both Electricity and Gas which means 100 days, and also they charged me for an extra unit as well for both, and it cost me more than £50,00. Every time I phoned them 5 times and all the time they were saying it will take 2 weeks to review your statements and email you back and it was a big lie and they never did that. Finally, I had to pay about £150,00. I would never recommend this company to anyone. PLEASE DO NOT JOIN TONIK
Great service. Great price. We wanted green energy and tonic offered 100% green elec and partially green gas. We were happy to pay a little more but our bills have actually reduced in year one. Renewed as prices remained excellent, along with service. Free boiler service was much appreciated too.
Switched to Tonik in January, received the direct debit mandate a few weeks later coming the payment plan. In September I was reviewing my bills and realised I'd never made a payment to Tonik! I contacted them online, they did not apologise, simply said I needed to contact them to set up a payment plan. They didn't provide any contact details. I phoned Tonik, and after 30 minutes I was told that it was totally their fault, and they could only apologise. I have now paid off the bill and switched to another provider.
I will not waste time telling you the details about thus outfit and the problems with them, other comments have already done that. Take my advice do not touch them, you have been warned.
Left Tonik in Feb 2020. Got a final demand letter out of the blue in August 2020. Paid it. Then, had a letter warning of legal action. Next, an email addressed to another customer with a demand for a slightly different amount. Sent Tonik the information from my bank showing my payment had been accepted by them. Nevertheless, got yet another demand for more money, the same amount as the other customer owed. A shambles.. and distressing.
Great customer service, very competitive rates in fact they were so competitive Ive signed up for another year.
Until today I have had no problems with submitting readings. This tine was informed that I had used an irregular amount of day/night time electricity. Could not send my readings except by email. I had problems in the past with another supplier where the day and night readings had been reversed, but this I believe had been resolved. Awaiting response, other than the automated acknowledgement, to my email.
Clear, precise website from Tonik Energy. Not the cheapest, but close to. Overall a good energy supplier that I recommend
So far so good TONIK seem to respond quickly to my queries and problems and their prices appear to be at least as competitive as the others.
My gas meter has stopped showing all the data which means I can't send a meter reading. I have written to Tonik twice, on 15th July and 4th August and had acknowledgements - #259278 and #349823 respectively. Another month has gone by and I still have had no contact. How do I get my meter repaired?

Sep 08,2020Absolutely awful customer service. I tried to contact them over several months with no response. When I finally did contact them, it took another month for them to deal with the issues raised. I ended up receiving a large bill over 3 months after I had left Tonik. I am certain that it has been calculated incorrectly and am now having to raise another complaint. DO NOT USE TONIK ENERGY!
