Changed to a new tariff and was very impressed with the swiftness of the transaction. All sorted quickly and new direct debit put in place. Reminders to take meter readings always punctual.

Tonik energy has ceased to trade - why are they asking for reviews!
I am happy to know that most of the energy comes from sustainable sources.
Maybe someone should tell all these!!!!!!!! "Invited"!!!!!!!! 5 star reviews that this "company" stopped trading (without informing there customers ) last week . I have cancelled my D D as i do not trust them , also not heard from Scottish Power who are supposed to have taken over the power all be it with a more expensive tariff
So glad I left them two weeks before they went bust. So insincere about their “fixed” tarrifs that always ends up actually not being fixed because they take out whatever they want from your account.
I think the service has been less than excellent because of the effect of Covid 19. Otherwise I am very happy with Tonik,
Strange that they are sending invites out to customers asking for a review but haven't sent an email out saying that the company has gone bump and Scottish Power have now taken over the accounts. The trouble with onliine accounts is that when this happens you can no longer see any statements, payments, etc as you can't log into your account. I don't trust them to provide an accurate final bill to transfer to Scottish Power who also have TERRIBLE reviews on Trust Pilot so not looking foward to dealing with them. TAKE METER READINGS NOW REGULARLY IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY
Tonik are quick to respond to any enquiry, even during these strange times of Covid 19. The information about their different tariffs is clear and the change to a new tariff happened smoothly and without any problems.

I’m very sorry that Tonik are in financial difficulties as I’ve always been very happy with them as a provider and had just agreed a new 12 month deal.
Worst experience. Took a contract as it said free boiler cover but does not cover Potterton boiler which I have (never said something like condition applies while taking out the policy), spoke to the customer service, they said they need to escalate it but its been 2 months and never heard back.
Good customer service. It’s a shamed they had to close
No problems and good price.

Being with Tonic for the second year now, and can’t be more happy. Easy to set up, easy to deal with, easy to submit the meter readings etc. And, the cheapest on top of everything.

Will never return to the big 6 companies. Have renewed because Tonik did what they said and kept our bills lower than ever before with the major companies. Easy website to follow, never had any issues. Highly recommend!
