Nov 26,2023So far, so good. I enrolled about 17,000 dollars. I still have some loans that need to be enrolled but am waiting. Just had my first creditor file a lawsuit, (one that had opened a different account under my name w/o letting me know.) And Turnbull was very helpful, we're hoping to keep this one out of court. They have already settled 6 accounts for me. Your credit score will take a hit, but it should start going back up once the 'bad' marks and collections get taken off of your credit report.

My first settlement was accomplished quickly and efficiently without requiring any interaction from me with my creditor. Nov 01,2023I have tried to contact my attorney now five times regarding a wage garnishment from a creditor sent to my employer. This is going on 8 months. I submitted all documentation as directed by their program terms and still nothing. Reps put you on endless holds, tell you to submit paperwork you already have submitted, blow smoke about “our process is to escalate this to a manager and your attorney with reach out in a few days.” But nothing happens and Turnbull doesn’t care. Too busy having their partner company try to shove a loan down your throat instead of doing their job. A loan that somehow takes your remaining enrolled debt and keeps you in debt to them for another 24-72 months. I was told four years and my debt would be settled and we are about to go into year five. Are there any attorneys out there willing to take a case against these guys on my behalf? I am now forced to file a complaint against my so called attorney, Paul Myron, for ethical violations related to delay and neglect. Sad. I would’ve been out of debt on my own without this company by now. Stay away from this company and anyone representing this company. Update: I received a phone call today from Turnbull regarding this review that I have posted. I was told my attorney retired in August, but Turnbull never had the decency to call me let me know, or assign a new attorney to the case. It seems like the representative is only concerned about the reputation of Turnbull. She showed zero regard for the fact that I have been blown off for eight months and have no resolution on the wage garnishment that has been sent to my employer.

Nov 01,2023To date I am satisfied with the progress made with a couple of finance companies. I would like to see some movement with the credit cards companies. I know it takes time. However, I would like to see settlements on some of the larger balances due.

Oct 25,2023Firstly, it was represented to me that this program was through Freedom Debt Relief. It is not. It is through law firm Turnbull Law Group. Secondly, they keep contacting me with old debts that are approaching the time limit in my state for not being able to be acted upon by the creditor and which debt was not enrolled. Be aware, they DO NOT negotiate these debts and I ended up paying close to the total owed amount! Thirdly, they deducted a settlement fee of 36% of the settled amount. This is in excess of the 27% I agreed to, already waaaay too much. Thirdly, I spoke with a representative who could not explain what the amount represented. I asked to speak with her supervisor and was placed on hold for in excess of twenty minutes. This amount is for $528 and no one there can tell me the breakdown of the amount. Finally, I emailed them through their website asking about this charge and at day three, I am still awaiting a response. I am totally dissatisfied! My plan is to discontinue with them and go to a name brand debt settlement agency.
