Remember that Whistl UK are an intermediary company, and contract other couriers to deliver for them. This means, as I found out tonight that if a delivery does not arrive Whistl are not liable nor are they willing to disclose the name of the courier that is delivering for them, and due to Data Protection are unable to give either a phone number or email address for the courier company. Their answer is to contact the supplier of the goods being delivered. The agent, with whom I was in email conversation, was unable to even contact the courier company they had subcontracted to. A major lack of 'joined up' customer service and a case for BBC Watchdog

At present awaiting delivery by whistli after watching the delivery date pass. Would have given no stars but the system does not allow that. I purchase a lot of items online and usually avoid purchase and use another seller if it states Whistli delivery. My latest purchase had tracking, but when I checked it stated delivery 26th up to 8pm as usual 8pm came with no parcel. Now it states something went wrong with a new set selection of dates for delivery. Pathetic service from one of the worst couriers, avoid and buy somewhere else if they use this company.

These people keep sending letter after letter demanding money from people who don't live at my adress I've put on the envelopes "not at this adress return to sender" and in turn they send double some of them is for a guy who owes £20 now they must have spent this six times over in paper, ink, envelopes, staff wages and delivery. At this point I should be charging them a mail handler fee

Appointment at Audiology Dept St Albans Hospital posted on 27th August. Letter received on Saturday 14 September. Sadly 2 days after date of appointment! Letter from Stanmore Orthopaedic Hospital posted on 4th September, again not received until 14th September. Suspicious coincidence that. Do they wait for weeks until the have enough letters for a certain area, thus saving on delivery costs. Wonder how many so called 'no shows' in appointments are attributable to no or late delivery on the part of Whistl. People could have been waiting for these appointments for months , maybe with an Oncologist. Don't care how cheap Whistl are, they are not fit deal with NHS post.

Why do we keep whistl going they are shocking they cant deliver mail or parcels to your address because they are not the royal mail who can do the job so they RIP royal mail off collecting mail and parcels by employing cheap people on peanut wages and the biggest thieves that's why whistl are crap no upstanding of the English language stop stop using whistl

Supposedly handed my parcel over to royal mail this morning 11/09/19 at 7.21am it's now 8.55pm where in the hell is my parcel ridiculous company according to your website it's still out for delivery royal mail tracking doesn't recognize the tracking number pathetic so pi***** off no wonder people find you ridiculous

Waste of time using this service. Subcontractor our and use Yodel aka the worst known delivery service. Waited in two days for an item both claim they tried to deliver but they didn’t even press the buzzer nothing

I found out that whistl has given my parcel to yodel to deliver. After ringing yodel to find out where my parcel is (JD0002258959360760)they told me they had only recieved the paperwork but no parcel. What kind of company is whistl that farms out parcels but only gives the courier company paperwork without the parcel . Where is my parcel?

I do not understand how they cannot update you as to who your parcel is being delivered by. I have seen quite a few replies by the service on this page citing that Whistl itself is not a courier service but manages parcels via actual couriers such as Hermes. However, the tracking information on the website does not allow you to see which courier is being used and as such I am left with a “Received by Carrier Delivery Depot” notice with no further information. If I am lucky enough to get a reply on this page as a few others have done, my tracking reference is JD0002258959362428.

Tracking info supplied by seller but the data on the tracking link was not updated for 4 days?Small letter sized package eventually delivered 5 days later?Even royal mail second class is quicker! Will not be recommending this service to others!

I really do not understand the concept of Whistl. Farming courier services out then reneging responsibility when things dont turn up ? ! I have been waiting for a delivery since 3rd of Aug....I have Whistl tracking number (2402478148440923). It has been dispatched since the 30th July ?? Trying to contact this company is also impossible....a phone number that rings out to a voice mail that can no longer take messages because its full ! Unbelievable Totally amateurish

Have been waiting in all day for this item only to be told that they have to contact the delivery partner - if I'd have been given the details I could have collected this myself!

ALL day waiting for the parcel, first thing in the morning they sent me an update " its on the way " out for delivery... about 4pm " Recipient - Cannot be reached" AM AT HOME ! royal mail delivered others parcel for me at 3pm.. worst ever !

Tracking details not found. Item is in delivery since 05.08. and hasn’t arrived. No way of finding out what happened, where the parcel is or if it will ever be delivered. As a recipient this is extremely dissatisfying and reminiscent of carrier issues of the 1990s when paying customers were kept in the dark and left utterly helpless. It defies belief that these kinds of problems still exist today. Obviously not very good word of mouth advertising and only leading to customer loss. One would think companies had learned that by now. This would honestly never happen with UPS.

Not really a review but... on track my delivery this morning it said out for delivery, now it says delivery scheduled. I can’t find any explanation of what that means or why it’s changed!!!! So frustrating!!!! Thank you for replying whistling, I didn't know you contracted out deliveries, it was eventually delivered by Hermes. So I've altered the rating on you!!
