I ordered from Thompson and Morgan in march and have been waiting for the dispatch date in may. When I checked the track item box it said parcel refused due to damaged parcel. I did not even have a delivery attempt, it's plain lies. I've set an investigation in motion with T and M to find out where my parcel is. I AM NOT HAPPY.

Ordered some plants from Amazon, they were despatched on Monday 13th May via Whistl. Having read comments on here that Whistl pass the goods onto Hermes, I decided to go to Hermes site and use the tracking number. Sure enough Hermes now have the plants, 2 days after despatch. However, I'm happy with that because where I live Hermes is very good. We have the same courier every time and he often delivers goods to me. So 3 stars because Whistl passed the goods to Hermes, but losing 2 stars for taking 2 days to pass the goods to Hermes. I'm expecting Hermes to deliver tomorrow, hopefully the plants will still be in good condition.

Whisl as far as I can establish is just an additional middle man between the vendor and the actual courier which means the tracking information is poor and frequently wrong and the service is slower you also do not know which courier company will handle the actual delivery. All in all it is not very satisfactory. Technically your redress is with whoever sold you the item as they contract the delivery item. Even that gets complicated as the Vendor has a contract with Whistl who in turn have a contract with the actual courier. It makes it very difficult to get an issues resolved

Email with tracking information received Tuesday morning. Link didn't work. Website stated item received 07/056/2018 at 0236. Returned home Thursday afternoon. Item on doorstop. Some was home but item just left.

I have been very much frustrated and disappointed with this kind of service. They really need to work on their infrastructure and management among couriers. Never wish to use again.

Placed an order with Gtech on the 10th April. It's now the 19th April and only shows in transit. Hopefully Gtech will stop using this service place an order worth over £400 pounds and they send it with this snail pace delivery service. Gtech say it will be coming with Royal Mail. Why are they using Whistl is beyond me. I ordered on the 10th April known that the 19th is Good Friday and was expecting my parcel well before the 19th April and now with it been a bank holiday i will be very surprised if it turns up before Tuesday 23rd April. Will update on my poor experience with this incompetent company. "" As said i would update on my experience "" Well having waited 2 weeks for my order it arrived. only one good thing it turned up. The order arrived on the 24th April. Royal Mail did there job but Whistl was so slow. Here is my tracking number "L1136211000007833001" and you will see how bad the delivery times are. This maybe so that Gtech can save a few pence on delivery.

Absolutely useless bunch of couriers. From date of receipt of the parcel to an out for delivery message was 11 days but still didn’t arrive. As per other comments, they are a bunch of liars and a complete waste of space.

Waiting at on an exit at a roundabout on Hessle Road Hull and saw a Whistl lorry use the inside lane to turn right near Asda. The poor car driver in the correct outside lane had to stop on the roundabout to avoid a collision. The Whistl driver had the cheek to hold both hand in the air in a gesture of frustration at the car drivers actions. The car driver was completely in the correct lane and took completely the right action.

Received a parcel today, the parcel had "Fragile Handle With Care" plastered all over it in large red letters. Despite this, the parcel had been crushed and the contents damaged. I get that accidents happen and that sometimes, even with the best preparation, things can go wrong. But as a customer, I would at least have expected a note giving me contact options or even an apology. I called them and was basically just fobbed off. Whistl clearly don't care about their customers. Shocking service. I will be recommending that people avoid this company.

Ordered from Waitrose and tracking was through Whistl, but they weren't the carrier Yodel were. Yodel delivered the article to the door step and disappeared leaving it in the front porch. Said left in a safe place, rubbish in ful;l view of the road and 4ft from the pavement. I tried the Whistl tracking number and it worked on Yodel and both sending me emails. Pretty confusing who do Waitrose contract with? If anything goes missing who do or Waitrose get in touch with

Purchased from Amazon 3rd party seller who used Whistl passed on to Hermes. Enough said on that score! Saw courier at mailbox but by the time I got to door he was wheel spinning in reverse and off like a bat out of hell. Inside mailbox was an EMPTY flat grey plastic envelope with the end neatly cut, not torn. Of course it was empty. Raised with Amazon, seller and Whistl and am attempting to identify Hermes courier who is local man. Once I have all of the information it's being reported to local police as theft and I intend to make sure it's resolved by becoming such a nuisance to them all they'll be glad to get me off their backs.

PLEASE TAKE THE ADVISE AND FIND A BETTER COMPANY. they pay as close to minimum wage as they can, they work you like dogs, they don't care about staff at all. they have made 2000 people redundant in 2015, 2017 they closed two depots and made staff redundant again circa 150 people. now they are closing another two depots with redundancy expected to be 150 people again. staff don't matter to whistl, only ever about money. no job security. never going to pay fairly for hard work. they are now moving to bedford area. please do not support this company by working for them. they are shameful and do not deserve good people. they were still recruiting 3 months before this last redundancy as they don't care about kicking people out at short notice. there redundancy period is not even 3 months. thats because the staff turnover is so bad that they will only have to pay a few people to stay at home as the rest can be made redundant within 2 months, why they do this, to save money. i would recommend literally any company over Whistl. regarding the actual service, well slow, insecure, thefts happen a lot. items are regularly damaged and destroyed without customers permission. quality levels are falsified by booking items in on different days or scanning the bags a day or two later than the day of arrival. they process through Hermes and Yodel as they cant do it themselves. we all know the reputation of Hermes and Yodel and its shocking. but whistl is worse.

Absolutely shocking service, Tracking says delivered to a safe place . No ticket advising where or which safe place, neighbours don't have it, tracking suggests it was delivered at 20.20 yesterday, What nonsense as we were sat in all night. Steer well clear of this lot totally untrustworthy.

Bought a wedding gift from the seller whom shipped it via Whistl. Ordered it with tracking service which simply stop tracking from dec 12 when the seller sent it in. Had to figure out for ages where the support and live chat was and they told me will update in 1-2 days which totally didn’t happen. The tracking service updated again but basically left off my parcel on dec 17, 2018, 5 days ago and no further status. Such a hopeless service. Now I’m attending a wedding with no gift and still no signs of a parcel!

Very disappointing performance. Bought item online on 13th Dec. Supplier reported dispatch on 14th Dec. No action from Whistl until 20th Dec when they said it was in transit. On 22nd Dec Whistl said it had been handed over to Royal Mail for delivery. I am still waiting. Luckily it is not an important item required by Christmas. Compared to other delivery services Whistl are by far the poorest in my experience.

5-7 seven days my A$$! They're customer support is trash, you ask for help, they ask for all the information that exists about you, and then you will be told to contact a different company, even tho its about my package. G G
