I received an email about a sale, so I clicked on it to go to the website and got a message saying I was barred from the site. I tried it on my husband's phone and got the same message. I have been a customer for years and was perplexed as to why they were banning me. I therefore rang customer services and got through to a woman in India who told me to take a screenshot and send an email to customer services. I said I wasn't sure how to do that and could she put me through to Complaints. She said no there wasn't one. I told her if they wanted to ban me that was fine. There are plenty of places I could buy jumpers. She then said she'd put me through to her boss. I explained what had happened and she said she'd look into it. That was a week ago and I've heard nothing whatsoever. She said customer services like to go the extra mile. I would suggest they don't even want to set off. Without a satisfactory explanation and apology, I shall shop elsewhere in future
Just got my order of 2 jumpers - outstanding quality! I’m very pleased with these items and the delivery was very fast! Never ordered before from this site so I was a bit apprehensive but I’m so pleased with my items!
WoolOvers have been wonderful over the years. This time there was a mishap with the delivery, but they faithfully sent me a refund as soon as the parcel was returned to them. I have been shopping with them for years now and have always found the quality of their products excellent, and the service very good indeed.
Order arrived over 3 deliveries (for 4 items) with the last one being late. Lambawool jumper was poor quality, pilling badly after every wear and, after 4 wears, I have found 2 very small holes/ gaps in the knit. Wool cable cardigan and dress seem slightly more robust but have not worn more than twice so far. I like the styles but won’t be repurchasing due to the lower quality and my own misunderstanding of what items are made in the UK or in Cambodia.
Very disappointed that I have to pay to return items. Unusual these days with online buying. The returns info is not clear when ordering either.
I have purchased quite a few things from woolovers and been happy with the items. Then with a cardigan I purchased, the first time it was washed a small hole appeared in a prominent place on the front. This appeared to be a manufacturing fault. I contacted Customer Service but they refused to do anything as the garment was over 6 months old. My opinion therefore is “Poor Quality, extremely poor Customer Service”.
Having bought several items over time, I had to return a jumper which was slightly too large. The returns process was easily followed and the processing of the refund was as quick as any company I’ve dealt with.
Received a small sticky label on invoice. Says attach to parcel and take to post office. The label had no return address on it. Small post office dodnt know what to do. Took it back home and asked customer service for a return label. They sent the address for me to write on a piece of paper. I did this and returned to post office. Where I paid £3.85? for return postage. So that's on top of £4.50 for delivery to my home. Expensive to my mind! I live in the country, at least 40 miles from the nearest large store. Won't be buying from you again due to expense and difficulty returns method.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought 7 jumpers over the Christmas 2024 period and have since washed 2 of them, both have shrunk, one so much so that I am unable to wear it. The local charity shop will benefit! The other was large to start with so now just about fits, although tight across the sleeves. I contact the Company and was informed I needed to email them, an automated reply was received informing me that I would hear from their customer service department within 48 hours. This never happened, so I phoned them again to be told I had to send it back so they could inspect the jumper. Cost me £3.95 to return it! Two days later it was returned to me with a computer generated reply, obviously one that gets sent to every customer that complains about shrinkage, saying it was my fault, even though I washed the jumpers to their instructions. I have a friend who had the same problem and she was given a goodwill refund. Nothing like that for me even though I have since phoned their customer services TWICE, and have been told a team leader would get back to me immediately. This hasn’t happened and so a week later I have decided to write this review to advise potential customers of their disgraceful lack of customer service.
Ordered item Friday afternoon, dispatched the same day and delivered early afternoon the following day. Excellent service. The quality and fit of the man's jumper ordered is also excellent.
Something has definitely changed in the yarns used for "lambswool" and "pure wool". I have sweaters which are 5 years old and are still the same size and texture as ever. I've recently bought 2 new ones which have bobbled dreadfully on the first wearing and have matted and shrunk despite a hand wash. Woolovers you've lost a very longstanding customer. You need to carry out some serious quality controls. Seeing a similar comment very recently, you clearly have no interest in customer concerns and remove comments from your website too!
Very disappointed to have been charged £80 for two jumpers that were out of stock. I had to follow up why there was no dispatch information and will now have to wait a further 3-5 days for refund to be back in my account. Poor service Woolovers and grumpy call handler. You have just lost a very longstanding customer.
I washed a jumper that I had recently bought and washed it with another that I bought from Woolovers in 2020 - both have the same wash labels so I washed them together as instructed delicate wool cycle - my new jumper has shrunk to fit a 4year old but my other jumper was as good as always - Woolovers accept no responsibility and the returns department say it was my fault????
I have purchased the wool cashmere joggers from WoolOvers since 2021, however my recent purchase of two joggers appears to have a few faults. 1.the inner leg length seems to have been mis sewn, I’ve purchased the exact same pair several times and I’m the same weight and yet there is this strange extra fabric that bunches between my legs that makes it difficult to walk or sit, I’m always conscious of tugging fabric. 2. Elastic waistband - on the denim mark joggers the waistband appears to have been sewn with a twist in the band making them very uncomfortable to wear, definitely not for lounging around. I’ve tried to untwist the band but it appears to have been sewn in this way. Very frustrating. 3. Pilling - I’ve only worn each pair to try them on for comfort and check the fit, however because of the waistband twisting and fabric bunching I’ve been unable to keep wearing them. Despite this I can already see visible signs of pilling. Overall I’m really disappointed with the quality of these two pairs of joggers, they do not meet my expectations or align with the description of luxe joggers or my past experience. I would expect a refund for these items.
Absolutely one of the worst companies I have had to deal with because they use a particular courier company - easy to find on their website. Never received the order, missing - does that mean my goods are available at a local car boot sale or on eBay - no one actually knows????? Then promised next day delivery a week later as 'lost by the courier - easy to find on their website' but of course no longer available. Now offering a refund because out of stock. Not good enough!! Stop trading with companies that their only delivery route is by privately owned cars and the courier not doing an in depth check on the car owner. Yes, I observed a delivery person in the neighbourhood and it wasn't good. Stop promising another delivery when you do not even have the stock. You advertise next day delivery which the courier states on the tracking as two days. Disappointed and annoyed. Will use M&S in future as they are reliable. Absolute joke - zero stars. I do appreciate that this company tried to resolve the issues but it was a lost cause due to the courier which I shall be reviewing.
Goods ordered after Christmas (2024, so not that bad!), finally arrived today. Zero updates about the delay other than a message last week about an out of stock item. Was given the option of refund or replacement so went on site, checked the alternative was in stock so requested that item. Next day an email to say I'd had a total refund, even though the requested replacement was still shown as in stock. Anyway .... is this normal Mr Woolover? A two month wait for items without a notification for the delay. I could have been desperate for those socks.
Despite removing pilling on the surface of my 5 Woolovers 20% Cashmere/ Wool mix V neck Sweaters and Men’s Cardigans, using a highly recommended comb, the garments pilled again very quickly, until they again became thoroughly unsightly. They were again de-pilled but soon went the same way again. These garments also very quickly stretched out of shape. Their fit around the back of my neck was poor. The sleeves quickly became enormously baggy. This did not disappear when the garments were carefully hand washed at low temperature as recommended by this maker. I regret that I may take these poor quality knitwear garments to a local charity shop! I would never again buy Woolover Brand knitwear for the reasons I have detailed. I am a truly disappointed customer.
Very disappointed with jumper not worn a lot as have many others but it has pilled very badly and the bottom ribbing is completely baggy and hangs like a skirt would not buy wool overs products again.
No one responds to your emails. I have sent four emails over the past couple of weeks, yet haven't received any response... "A member of our team will endeavour to contact you within 48hrs."

Mar 16,2025I received the wrong size sweater and initiated a return. I had to pay the $8.00 return fee to return the wrong item! His should have been a free return since it was your error.
