I received a Pure Wool Countryman Jumper for Christmas and I have become increasingly disappointed with it. The weave is open and its very prone to snagging on any fence or bush you pass. It then pulls out and leaves a run in the weave. Its not really fit for wearing in the garden or countryside. It looks the part (at first) but its far too delicate for real outdoor wear.
This company is operating a fraudulent mail ordering service. I paid £9.95 for next day delivery on Tuesday Feb 18. Today is Friday 21 Feb and have still not received the single item ordered. This has happened before with this company, and I naively gave them a second chance. Tracking information states that the package isn't even out for delivery. What did I pay the £9.95 for?
ordered Tuesday afternoon, arrived Weds afternoon - great delivery. Items were just as described and fitted well. Well made and nicely shaped.
At first I didn't believe when it said 2-4 days delivery. We ordered Tuesday late at night and the jumper came early Friday morning, my granda couldn't believe how quick the order came. He loved his sleeveless cardigan so much that he asked me to order another colour. Great price and quality item. About to order the other colour right now.
It has taken nine days for you to even begin to send my parcel. I got the notification today that it has now been sent. It’s too long.
Please be warned, this company's customer service in non-existent. Wanted to exchange a jumper bought as a gift for a larger size to be told in extremely offhand manor that I was out of the unreasonably short 'return' period (by just a few days as it happens). No apology, no promised phone call from a 'manager' and no joy. Left with brand new unwearable jumper and £40 out of pocket. Will NEVER buy from them again. Would not dream of treating my customers this way. *** Update - as a result of my rant I have now had the issue resolved so thank you Woolovers, I wish I had spoken with Sophie at Customer Services before all the others!
Top quality products and excellent customer.service
Excellent customer service in cancelling an order - on a Sunday evening. Thank you, as always for such good service - and for such excellent garments.
A dreadful company to deal with when things do not go smoothly! No confirmation of orders, no information of deliveries. WHY? This after repeated requests was NEVER answered. Emails including a cancellation notice NOT replied to. Consequently parcels arrived, one not wanted, and just left in our block of flats. Then refusal to supply a return label which was needed. Also be very careful that you get the correct size.
Ordered a tunic and paid in good faith. Six days later, still not received. This evening received email saying "order cancelled ". No explanation. Bitterly disappointed and will never deal with Woolovers again.
I have ordered numerous items from WOOLOVERS in the past and now I find that I am blocked from your website. Why???
I have worn WoolOvers jumpers for many years, the roll necks are my personal favourite, warm and snuggly and wash well too. My husband has now become part of the WoolOvers family too because the men’s lambs wool roll necks are available in XXXL and the colours are beautiful. He is very happy.
My husband ordered a jumper and cardigan but when the order confirmation came through it showed 2 jumpers. We phoned immediately and were informed the order had gone through for despatch but she would try to stop the order. The cardigan was out of stock but if she could stop the order we could substitute one of the jumpers for an alternative cardigan. If not we could order the cardigan and she would send us a pre-paid returns label to send one of the jumpers back. She would phone us but it might take an hour. No phone call back, so we called again. The orignal customer service agent was "not available". The second agent told us the jumpers had been despatched and, as it was our fault, we would have to pay to return one. I told her both would be coming back and we would not be ordering from this company again. "That's up to you" was the reply. Obviously their "how to win customers and influence people" training is not working.
Buyer beware with this company. Appalling experience ! I ordered for next day delivery only to receive an email two days later informing me the item was out of stock! Yet I was able to purchase online /-feels like I have been used as a bank as my refund will not arrive until a week after I paid!!! They suggested I replace it with another item - definitely not as item was bought as a gift which failed to arrive in time. Totally unimpressed and wouldn’t want anyone to be as let down as I am
During the winter months, I live in my Deep Rib V-neck cashmere merino tunics. They are warm, very comfortable and wash and wear beautifully especially after a day of caring for my grandbabies. I also love the bright colours for winter. Woolovers has always been a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend for a cosy winter!
Great service when I needed to return a jumper that was a present but didn’t have a receipt. Replacement was dispatched the day after I sent the original jumper back! .
I’ve purchased several jumpers from Woolovers for myself and as gifts. They are very nice quality and people who receive them are always happy with them. Their customer service is very good too. I like their Christmas offers (2x £99). I just wish that their after Christmas sales were not limited to a small selection of products as the jumpers that I like are on the pricey side (still reasonable though compared to other products in the market).
Used Hermes for delivery. They left the paper parcel, in the wet , on the back door step, visible to all. It was only by pure chance that I caught the "driver" leaving, saying "I've left it at the back door". Totally unacceptable
Terrible company. Expensive item arrived ripped. The only way to get a refund is to return the item at your own cost. They also often “accidentally” charge you and send you the item twice. Then you are not very likely to send it back for a refund because you have to cover the postage cost

Feb 25,2025Company I’ve used for many years with satisfaction are now not as reliable. Bought 2 men’s lambswool jumpers in £99 offer. They were bought at time of offer last year for 2024 winter. From first wear unsightly bobbles appeared and this has increased upon each wear, also wool has stretched so much the welt hangs like a skirt. One jumper has had 5mths of wear in rotation with 2 others and the other 1mth., but gradually going the same way as first jumper. Because I’m outside their 6mth time frame they will do nothing. What has happened to consumer rights?
