May 27,2022We have used Zicasso twice now and will gladly use it again. Because we will likely only be in some of these places once with our family, we appreciate the custom details and being able to tweak the itinerary to suit our needs. They have gone above and beyond on both trips with special surprises and making our daughter feel special on her birthday (always during spring break!) It really is a custom tour from what type of accommodations we like, the pace of the trip, and what activities our family enjoys. Some highlights from our Peru and Bolivia trip would be having a picnic lunch set up for us in the middle of the Bolivian Salt flat, and of course the trek to Machu Picchu was a bucket list item, and our guides were fantastic! In Spain our tour company managed to get us tickets to an ‘El Classico’ game which was a huge highlight, and a beautiful and intimate Flamenco performance in Seville. Looking forward to our next adventure!

May 25,2022Zicasso is good at getting back when called. They do their best to answer questions. The only thing I cannot get a grip on is how expensive is this service really. Am I paying 30%,40%, 50% more than booking things myself? Granted there is a commission for Zicasso but there is no real way to know what I am paying. It could be as much as 100% up charge. Something to think about. Zicasso gives one two different agents but they always make up different trips so they can’t necessarily be compared on a cost basis.

May 20,2022Zicasso arranged an amazing vacation for my wife and I while we were on vacation in Croatia. I got a couple of sample itineraries immediately from agents to review prior to choosing the agent we chose. After we chose our agent, we were constantly communicating to finalize the itinerary. The hotels were a mixture of 5 star hotels to small local boutique rooms that were beautifully decorated and in a convenient location. Our city tour guides were very well educated on the city and country and very easy to talk to. Our drivers were great, informative, timely, and did not allow us to lift a finger. The winery trips that were arranged supplied some of the best food I've ever had and the wine was magnificent. I'm already planning to go back to Croatia in the future and visiting more areas in Europe with Zicasso's help.

The agents were very knowledgeable and attentive to every single detail of our trip...even with it being cancelled twice and delayed by 2 years due to Covid travel restrictions. I would definitely use Zicasso again for planning travel.

May 16,2022Excellent tour of Sardinia arranged by an agent who lives in country and personally knows key staff in hotels, tour guides & restaurants to assure a premier experience. Hotels were superb with oceanfront views & mountain, fully 5 star all the way. Carefully selected drives (we had a Mercedes “S” class car) and english speaking guides (perfect English). Restaurant selections featured local food of the very highest quality. You must know the saying that you have not seen Italy until you have experienced Sardinia and Zocasso is the way to do that.

May 12,2022This is the second time we used Zicasso for overseas travel and we were not disappointed. The travel agent Zicasso recommended was excellent. We were able to negotiate the itinerary we wanted at the price we desired. Every hotel was booked for us in rooms we desired or better. Each time a guide was to meet us, he or she did on time. Every time we were to have a driver, he was there with a sign, spoke English and was very helpful. Our trip was 13 days and included 3 in Rome, 3 in Umbria, 3 in Venice and 3 in the Piedmont. Our plan was to see the sites in Rome and Venice and have wine tastings in Umbria(Tuscany) and the Piedmont. There were 4 of us traveling and each day our travel agent texted us to make sure we were satisfied and that every thing was ok! It was the best trip ever for us. We would highly recommend Zicasso for your overseas travel. As an aside, when we got back we were comparing notes with another friend who has done many overseas trips and we found out they also use Zicasso for their many trips. Small world. Ciao.

As in the past, the tour operators recommended by Zicasso were prompt with responses, very good at understanding what we wanted, and provided us with a trip itinerary that not only met our needs but also added some great options we had not thought of, and all at competitive prices compared with bids we had received from other, independent, larger tour companies. Once we've selected a company we had total confidence that we would be working with a reliable company who would provide service that we will be completely satisfied with - it's been true three time now.

Mar 12,2022This is not the first time I have used Zicasso, nor will it be my last. I trust Zicasso to provide me with "tried and true" travel experts in whatever country I'm going to. And I love that they provide me with 3 great options. The tour companies each contact me directly to establish exactly what I'm looking for (interests, locations, length of time, etc), then provide me with a proposal and pricing. I can continue to work with any or all until I have a trip that I'm happy with. Each trip has been extremely satisfying. The tour companies I select are usually very eco friendly, definitely locally based, and very accommodating and supportive. And I am confident that if I have any problems or issues, Zicasso will be there for me. I can't imagine traveling internationally to new locales without first talking with Zicasso.

The only criteria we gave were we want to experience the culture, history, wine and food. We spent over 50 days total in Europe and not a single hiccup with tour guides and/or transportation. Mar 04,2022I just returned from my trip to Finland. It was exactly what I was looking for. I started up in Lapland. First stop was Nangu Wilderness Resort where I experienced husky sledding, snowmobiling, a reindeer farm and a couple of aurora trips. We were able to see the Northern Lights on both of our aurora trips, which definitely added to the enjoyment of our trip. We then went to the Levi Igloos near Kittila. The glass igloo suite was beautiful and the view from the top of the mountain was great. The private hot tub on the deck was an incredible experience. The town in Levi, near the ski trails, has plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping to spend an afternoon or evening. After the igloos, we went down to Helsinki. We spent a night at the St. George Hotel. Great hotel in the middle of the city. All in all, it was a great trip and I got to do everything I had set out to do.

Jun 01,2022I have been on a couple of Zicasso mediated trips both have been excellent; in each case the local tour company provided a wonderful experience! The zicasso model allows up front interaction with a number of prospective local tour providers and thus the ability to choose based on interaction quality, flexibility and scope! Most recently , after a 2 year Covid delay, i went to Morocco 🇲🇦. Fabulous country, extremely varied sights and experiences ( even 2x wine tasting) and the bespoke private tour was exceptional! I highly recommend investigating Zicasso options!!!
