Feb 26,2022Zicasso planned and executed a near-perfect 18-day vacation journey for us through most of Costa Rica. We experienced an incredible mix of flora, fauna, climates and geography, including rivers, lakes & beaches, rain & cloud forests and volcanoes. Highlights included: - river transportation and excursions to view wildlife & fauna in Tortuguero - flying from Tortuguero to Corcovado & "wet landing" transfer to Aguila de Osa Lodge - Capuchin monkeys on our tin porch roof at dusk & dawn at Aguila de Osa - facility and views at Arenas del Mar in Manuel Antonio - sunset snorkelling cruise and return to Quepos Marina with returning sport fisherman tournament boats - Penas Blanca River Safari & Danaus Eco Park at Arenal - well-informed private drivers during our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Ecuador avenue of the Volcano’s and Amazon forest stay followed by Colombia tour. They put us in touch with local experts who did an amazing job at organizing and delivering the experiences we sought. We couldn’t have asked for any better. We then spent time exploring Cape Town, the cape peninsula, and wine country. Jan 13,2022I am a first time user of Zicasso but I am already a big fan. We just got back from 10 days in Spain and the company that Zicasso gave us (they recommended 3 and we chose the one we wanted to use after they sent us proposals) knocked it out of the park even beyond my expectations for my family. Every city we went to, the guides were knowledgeable and very personable. And even when my youngest son felt a bit ‘toured’ out after several days, each subsequent guide was able to reorganize the day to hit the best points and keep him fully engaged. No easy feat. I would use Zicasso again without reservation. Even the drivers between cities were amazing. The only recommendation I would make to readers of this review is to decide your daily budget for hotels, be realistic if you’re on a budget and be honest if you want more luxury. There is no need to sand-bag your numbers or try to game the system by proposing a low budget and hoping that gets you the best deal because the Zicasso-vetted agents will give you exactly what you are looking for based on your proposed budget. Everyone knows how to Google a hotel and their rates so be upfront and honest about your needs and they will deliver with no ‘I could have booked it cheaper’ because you can’t. Trust the process and you will get the trip of your lifetime without any buyers remorse which I have had in the past before I found Zicasso. One other tip - make your own airline reservations and keep your budget with the tour company you choose from Zicasso’s recommendations focused on hotels, tours and experiences in your country of choice. They’ll give you choices of potential agencies that will pitch you on your business and go with the one that you feel most seems to understand your needs. Can’t wait to use them again next year.

Jan 13,2022This has been our first time using Zicasso for planning a vacation trip. Based upon the entire experience, from selecting a travel agency amongst the initial choices provided to working with the finalist on an itinerary and using them throughout the trip, I would highly recommend Zicasso and plan on using them again in the future. The agency we selected exceeded our expectations from the communication to the trip itself. We also used Zicasso Air for scheduling our air travel, and while there were no cost savings in doing so, it saved a lot of time with all of the airline scheduling changes as they handled all of the ticketed passengers on the trip with one phone call. Furthermore, we were able to always speak to the same contact person for the entire 5 month period from the initial booking to the time of the trip.

This was the first time we were traveling outside the US since Covid hit. All the planning, touring, tests, flights etc were handled so professionally. We gave her a list of things we wanted to do and she developed itineraries to choose from, each one unique. Natalie gave us personalized attention and worked hard to make travels in the times of COVID as smooth as possible. It was reassuring to know that she was available during the trip should any issues arrive and none did. Her choice of accommodations and activities were excellent. We even found personal letters of greeting from her at each camp. We would definitely use Zicasso again.

Dec 08,2021I have used Zicasso 6 times (7 in 3 months) and I am always happily surprised. The companies they work with are top notch and listen to what you truly want for your vacation. For Italy, we had marvelous accommodations and transfers. The truffle hunting and lunch, driving the vintage car through Tuscany, sidecars of vespas through Rome, the food tour in Florence, the perfect tours with amazing information in every destination. It was all wonderful. They recommended great restaurants and got us reservations for places we found ourselves. I personally loved the trip app on my phone and their great communication. I always ALWAYS recommend Zicasso.
