Sep 14,2022Verhuurt mooie villa's, maar daar houd het wel bij op. Zijn nu al meer dan 1,5 maand aan het wachten op een borg van €2000 die niet terug gestort wordt. Niet aan te raden!

Sep 10,2022Villa St Lucia Albufeira During the booking and ahead of the holiday we were very optimistic and very much looking forward to our time at the Villa and in Albufeira. Sadly our experience at the beginning of our holidays was very negative as the state of the home was beyond unacceptable - a condom was left in communal areas. Despite addressing this matter immediately with property manager and local representant we were flood with excuses and how they have previously checked the property beforehand. As we really wanting to move on and enjoy our family holiday despite our discontentement we reluctantly accept their response and pointed that we hoped that lessons was learned. During our stay a few more issues arise such as bath curtain pole that was unsecured and fall on kids back when using the bath or a bed sheet that was to short for the bed, despiste addressing it no one responded timely or rectify the situations - a new bed sheet was dropped48hrs later. We enjoyed our time in Albufeira, we had fabulous family time and build memories however would expect the money we paid for service and property would promote a better response around costumer service. During our stay we have reported that there was a significant water leak from the 1st floor ensuite through the ceiling lamp in the dinning area a significant health and Safety hazard and imminent fire risk. The ceiling had significant water stains so this has been a problem before. Just hope they do take appropriate diligence to repair and respond to feedback hence promoting wellbeing of holiday makers and local community. Lastly, just received an email alleging damage to a chair with a photo attached that doesn't seem from the same property- can note a carpet that wasn't there during our stay!!!! Contacted the property manager immediately to be told that she isn't available over the phone just via email. Costumers services uncapable of responding to any of my matters or able to guide where to go. Clearly about to report to VRBO, credit card, police and trading standards as they have a company base registered in the UK.

Sep 05,2022Wir haben ein Haus gemietet die Villa Koster in Portugal, Carvoeiro. Olivia Grimes war die Anspechpartnerin. Das Haus hatte etliche neue defekte: kaputte Sonnensegel, Fenster defekt durch einen Einbruch, Klimaanlage defekt, Pool undicht. trotz mehrmaliger Reklamationen per E-Mail wurden wir ständig vertröstet. Abhilfe wurde nicht geschaffen auch die inkludierte Reinigung und Putzfrau ist nicht gekommen. das Haus hatten wir schon mal über eine andere Agentur gebucht, da hat alles wunderbar funktioniert auf Algarve Vacations net ist kein Verlass! weiterhin wollte uns die lokale Agentur nur ständig eine Bootstour oder Tische in besonderen Lokalen anbieten und verkaufen damit sie noch mehr Provision erhalten. Lösungen für unsere Beschwerden gab es nicht!

Aug 18,2022Très mauvaise expérience avec cette agence qui n'est pas digne de fournir des services. Cette location a été mon pire cauchemar entre les coûts cachés (2.9% pris sur tous les montants attention même sur le montant de la garantie) le service client scandaleux et inopérant, le manque d'infrastructures dans la maison (6 assiettes, couverts, verres...pour 8) le danger autour de la piscine mal entretenue (mon fils s'est blessé aux pieds sur les carrelages cassés autour) des prix élevés par rapport aux prestations (fenêtre cassée obligation de garder le volet fermé pour éviter le vol ou intrusion, climatisation qui coulesur toutela terrasse etc) obligé de quémander pour la restitution de la garantie qui n'a pas été remboursée en temps et en heure évidemment, impossibilité de laisser un avis sur leur site après 48h (évidemment sinon ça serait pas triste !) etc etc... il y a tant a dire mais ça serait trop long. ca fait plus de 10 ans que chaque année je vais au Portugal a l'Algarve et c'est la première et la dernière fois que je sollicite cette agence. Ca me fait mal de savoir que cette agence représente aussi mal cette belle région. Croyez moi cette agence est a fuir !!! Je partage afin qu'au moins d'autres n'aient pas à vivre notre très mauvaise expérience. Il y a tant d'autres agences bien plus professionnelles

Aug 12,2022I rented a villa via the Vrbo platform with Algarve Vacations Ltd returning on the 16th July. Like many others I have had to chase them for the return of my security deposit. Finally in the 4th week after returning they return the €400 deposit after deducting €112.99 for damages they claim to have happened, this was damage to a coffee machine and 4 missing wine glasses. We did not cause any damage to the property whatsoever! Despite calls and many emails, they are completely dismissive of the situation and now non-responsive. Based on other similar reviews there clearly is an underlying issue here, for which you will have to draw your own conclusion - I have mine! This is now a claim with my credit card provider and a formal complaint with Vrbo, with whom I have shared the link to these reviews. I'll update this review once I get to a conclusion. Well, my claim via my credit card company was successful - so I would recommend others do the same. If you haven't done so already, you should raise a case with Citizens Advice, as this will then log a case with Trading Standards - there is clearly an issue here which the authorities should deal with. I suspect there is a connection with people being charged for alleged damage and maybe those who didn't take out extras such as excursions / restaurant bookings - but that's just my opinion. Vrbo have been pathetically useless!!

We liked the location and especially for people our age (19/20 years) We liked how big the garden was and also loved the communication with you guys. What we think could be better was the interior. In our opinion it was a bit old. And a vacuum cleaner would also be nice.

Aug 05,2022J'ai loué une maison sur le site Abritel qui a ensuite délégué cette réservation à Algarve Location. Les vacances ont été annulées par Algarve Location une semaine avant le départ (Olivia). La raison : problème de structure de la maison. Nous avons demandé un justificatif que nous n'aurons pas, nous n'aurons pas de dédommagement non plus. C'est une honte !!! La villa est à Sesmaria, Portugal, Villa Phuket (maison contemporaine cubique 8 personnes). Ne jamais faire confiance à cette agence.

Aug 04,2022Having booked a villa and paid extra to reserve it for the past two years due to covid restrictions we were then cancelled by them with 3 days before we were due to travel. I called the office numerous times during the day to ask for help to find alternative accommodation, they just said there was nothing available. When I asked why we had not been told about this issue with the villa earlier they kept saying someone would call me and never did. Staff were unhelpful and rude and did not care that we were losing thousands of pounds in lost flights as well as the absolute heartbreak of having no holiday to go to with all our bags packed!!a complete disgrace of a company!

Stayed in villa Waikiki in albufeira and it was not as pictured in the slightest, broken furniture, and we had countless issues for our full stay for 2 weeks. Mainly the fact the air con did not work with the control. We had NO air con through the night. Many many other issues, they reply to emails but do nothing to help you. Now one week after we have returned they state there was damage and we are not getting breakage deposit back. Can’t say I’m surprised after reading other reviews. Completely ruined our holiday and a complete waste of a lot of money. I NEVER leave a bad review but would hate for others to be as disappointed as us. Stay well clear. Plenty other companies are far more professional.

Jul 27,2022We booked Villa Morais in Albufeira which was the perfect villa and location for a large group. Our only issue was the return of the significant breakage deposit which we had to continually chase following our departure, even though there were no breakages or issues. We did eventually receive this back after countless emails/calls.

Jun 22,2022Comfortably accommodated 17people. Very helpful staff who assisted with everything we needed. Very nice layout, very clean, well kept. Would definitely go back again with a big group. Shops, town, beach all within walking distance.

Jun 17,2022Had a lovely stay at Villa Laguna with family. The Villa had everything you could want to have a great holiday. Communication with Algarve Vacations was first class from organising day trips to taxis and transfers from airport. Would certainly come back to this villa in the future.

Jun 04,2022We used this company to book a villa in Albufeira in May 2022. The villa was Villa Waikiki. We were so disappointed with the standard of the villa pictures on the website they did not represent the villa. The pool sunbeds were all broken barbecue so dirty it should be in the trash. The pool was dirty. The beds were so poor and the overall standards were so bad. Furniture was all low cost. Aircon did not work during the night. Very noisey neighbourhood with dogs barking constantly. Definitely not worth the price we paid. We will not use this company again as we were badly treated when we complained. After 18 months this company contacted me to say ther would investigate but nothing happened. They still have the incorrect photos of the house. I would advise to be very careful if renting the house. I also note my review is not on their website and there are no reviews for this house. Its far from a villa.

May 05,2022Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. A very well organized company. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. The villa is spacious, clean, equipped with everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. A large pools, with an infinity pool. We did a lot of activities! Everything was great and we plan to come to this villa again.

Apr 26,2022Just check-out today and it was a slice of heaven, true paradise on Earth, all thanks to Algarve Vacation and Olivia Grimes. The villa was lovely. Comfortable bed, lots of seating. loved the foot shower after coming off the beach! Food was excellent. Great organisation with the transfers and excursions!! Staff were very friendly & lovely and so helpful.

It was an easy booking process from start to finish. Also an agent greeted us the day after we arrived to give us lots of information and answered any questions we had about the villa. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We are already planning our visit for next year! Thank you Algarve Vacations!

Apr 22,2022DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. They are completely shocking. We had a villa booked for this August, which was booked last year. At the end of March we received a call stating the villa had been water damaged from a burst pipe & was being written off for the entire season to be repaired. However the property is still live with VRBO (who we booked through) & Algarve vacations, whom I phoned last week and was happily told it is fine & readily available, presumably they took a higher offer than ours for the AUGUST booking. Disgusting behaviour which cannot be defended in anyway, I have escalated this further through all the legal departments we have access to as a UK citizen, I am also contacting all the hosts which represent them on their platforms to make them aware of the type of company they are representing through their sites. AGAIN DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
