The personal was not helpfully. Our fly was delayed and we sent you an email, but personal office was very unpleasant when we arribe. And was not eqsy for us to understand their english accent and He got angry at having to repeat. But worst was the price we paid. We has contract by a CarJet web, and the prices we had to pay finally in your office was much higher than contracted. We feel cheated. Not a good experience. The car was ok.

Everything was fine except that we were a few hours late picking up the car, through no fault of our own, and Aviva charged us for being late! I could understand if this was the drop off, but it was the pick up.

Overall this car rental company had good reviews, so we hoped we would have a good experience as well. Turned out they are really seeking to rip off tourists. When receiving the car, it took them about 10 minutes to inspect the car and turn over the keys: fast and efficient. We were flabbergasted when we had to pay €1700 euros deposit for a 4-day rental of a simple Fiat. When returning the car, the employee was trying his best to look for damage, and it took easily more then 30 minutes and he was almost using a magnifying glass. Then he simply pointed to a small weird bubble in the car paint (which was not even clear to see with the human eye) and said we had to pay. Fortunately we had a live picture which was vague, but what do you want? Clients to keep playing the yes/no game? When they see you’re a tourist, they will do everything to rip you off. *** disaster it was. Not coming back.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the collection and drop off was quick and efficient. We had the car for one week and we had no problems with it. My only complaint is that when we collected the car it was supposed to be full of fuel, but it took 8 litres to fill it.

La réservation a été effectuée via le site car jet. Un montant de 43 euros m'a été prélevé pourtant en arrivant chez avia, il n'avait aucune trace de la réservation et par conséquent aucun véhicule nous attendait. Par chance, un véhicule était disponible mais on nous a fortement recommandé de prendre l'assurance alors même qu'une carte Gold pouvait me couvrir. Ils n'ont pas voulu que je fasse une empreinte bancaire avec ma carte gold qui nous couvrait nous forçant ainsi à prendre leur assurance à hauteur de 300 euros. Nous sommes très déçus d'une telle manœuvre car pour nous cela s'apparente à du vol.

I was forced to buy a 200€ insurance, although I had a visa debit card for the deposit. The booking voucher says VISA card — I brought a Visa card. Visa says there is no difference between credit card and debit card. There is absolutely no technical reason not to accept a VISA debit card. The only reason it was not accepted — is to sell me the insurance. I would avoid such businesses in the future — not sustainable business philosophy.

El coche nuevo, la recogida fue rápida y la devolución francamente rápida. Al día siguiente desbloquearon la retención y por tanto muy buena experiencia.

Manque d'amabilité. Très mauvais service, montre un agacement quand on souhaite utiliser le traducteur. Nous a fourni deux véhicules défaillants. Le premier avait le voyant de la pression des pneus qui s'affichait, n'ont pas voulu en tenir compte, le lendemain nous étions avec pneu crevé obligé de retourner echanger le véhicule. Ils ont eu le culot de nous demander de compléter le gazole alors que nous avons été obligé de retourner exprès. A la prise du véhicule de remplacement le voyant airbag defaillant s'allumait mais ils ont prétendu que c'était normal. Arnaqueur car nous a très fortement inciter à prendre une autorisation pour prendre le ferry de 50€ alors que c'est absolument inutile et jamais demandé.

Nightmare. Frondesk man was very nice at first. When i tried ti pay my car rental, he explained me i had to make a 1900€ deposit with a credit card to get my car. Problem is french cards are debit and not credit card. My credit card did not work to make a deposit. Obviouslys it happens all the time to French customers. He never tried to find a solution and became suddenly much less friendly. Only solution we found after 60 mn negotiation was to pay a 350€ insurance i did not need just to reduce the deposit to 650€. This lower amount was acceptes by my card I will never use Avia again and will tell all my friends you are thieves.

Après avoir réservé sur Internet, lors de la récupération du véhicule, nous avons eu de nombreuses choses à payer en Assurances qui a rendu le tarif final de la Location plus important que chez d'autres Loueurs. Lors de la récupération et de la remise du véhicule, nous avons eu une très très longue attente. De plus, il faut aller chez le loueur à pied à l'extérieur de l'aéroport, car personne au comptoir et évidemment pas de message pour expliquer quoi faire en cas d'absence. Seulement 2 employés pour gérer 6 ou 7 clients. De plus, nous avions convenu de prendre le véhicule avec le plein et remise avec plein. Mais, au moment de partir , le véhicule n'avait pas le plein à 22H. Nous avons signalé le problème, et convenu avec l'employé de le ramener à l'identique. Nous avons ramené le véhicule avec 3L de moins environ qu'au départ et nous avons eu 44.90€ de pénalités.... Après 1H d'attente au comptoir... Je ne recommande pas de travailler avec cette agence de Location qui est proche d'escroquer ses clients.

Je suis très satisfaite de ma location et de la communication. Les avis négatifs pour le coup de la carte de crédit/debit il suffit de lire les conditions sur le site internet avant de faire une location c’est partout pareil dans le monde pour bloquer la caution si vous ne voulez pas de leur assurance, il faut toujours une carte de crédit ou payer en supplément, ils ne sont pas différents des autres. Et surtout c’est encore bien indiqué dans le mail que vous recevez lors de la confirmation de réservation. Lors de la prise du véhicule on nous a proposé les différents types d’options assurances, réservoir vide, passage frontière…sans insistance de la commerciale. Il suffit de dire non merci à ce que vous ne voulez pas et elle passe à autre chose. J’avais un soucis pour bloquer la somme de la caution ma banque ne l’ayant pas augmenté à la date demandée, la commerciale a été extrêmement compréhensive et m’a proposé une autre solution qui me convenait. J’ai payé la différence et ma banque m’à remboursé car l’erreur venait d’eux. Nous avons été surclassé sans supplément avec une magnifique jeep hybride toute neuve (1500km). Le check in très minutieux et le Check out idem, les 2 fois avec le sourire et tout s’est très bien passé. Il n’y a pas eu de recherche bizarre, d’essayer de me trouver des choses inexistantes… Tout a été parfait, donc pour ma part très bonne expérience. Merci !

It took almost 45 minutes - 1 hour per customer to get their car in 40 degree heat. It was horrible to wait. The cost of the car was MUCH more expensive than I originally booked. This company loves to pump you for more money by adding extra costs, from extra insurance to penalties in various forms. I ended up paying almost €272 more than what I had booked the car for. Pls check your final receipt for extra costs because the did put on € 64 extra for “ out of hours drop off fee” even though we left the car within the office hour. They will always have a ridiculous excuse for everything. Since you are probably in need of a car you can’t argue with them. Horrible company. Customer service was non-existent. Unfriendly staff. I will definitely not recommend this company to anyone. A tip for the company is to look closely at how the other companies are doing. We also rented from "sixt". Cheaper and excellent service. Fast delivery.

Very bad experience because of the ugly attitude of the receptionist when we arrived. Neobank cards like Revolut are not accepted as stipulated in the contract (this is my fault because I didn't read the contract). Huge amount of the deposit more than 2000€ instead of 1800€ stipulated in the contract otherwise you are made to pay additional amounts to lower the deposit or even without a deposit but you pay a quarter of the deposit, it's a big scam. All this to take an additional amount of money from the tourists that we are. The cars are not quite new because there is a lot of damage to the exterior and interior, you have to film and take photos of the whole car otherwise you will have problems when you return the car because you will not have any tangible evidence to discuss with them. If you have traffic fines, pay before returning the car because otherwise they make you pay on site with additional taxes without letting us know in advance and then tell us that it is encoded in the system so they can no longer remove them from the system (we were fooled by the same receptionist). So never again AVIA rent a car in Croatia and especially in Split. Response to Avia team: I accept my fault then you have to accept yours too before to tell me it was unfounded because it was really happened with your team at Split. If it was not true then go and look at most of reviews on Google maps about your agency at Split.

My worst experience ever - a fine balance between incompetence and greed Had to pay 500€ extra for insurance because my credit / debit card was under the name of my wife Asked to change the contract under her name but this was not accepted Finally paid because I had to take a ferry Brought the car back 15 min in advance when the activity was low (I was the only customer) I was asked to pay 50 € extra ! I waited 15 min … which was useful as I got to share my experience with other customers… they had the same level of satisfaction !

Great team at the Airport office. Everyone was so amazing there. The team was very helpful, understanding, friendly and great customer service standards. Would recommend to anyone, my preferred rent a car service in Croatia.
