May 05,2025I was a cash buyer buying a small flat from the executor of the previous owner. It had all the markings of being a straightforward case, with a quick completion expected in March/April. In the event, difficulties on the seller's side caused a number of problems and delays, but Sam and Caroline dealt with them smoothly, kept me fully informed, and completed the purchase by my absolute deadline of 1 May 2025.

Tanya was managing my case and even though the thought of buying my first home was very daunting, the whole process was very easy. Tanya’s communication was great and would always reply as quickly as she could to any emails/questions I had. I completed within 12 weeks. She followed up all enquires very quickly. Thank you

The team are fantastic and David yet again went above and beyond to ensure the process was flawless. Finding a company with integrity and who deliver is, in my experience, very difficult. These guys tick all the boxes - don't go any where else.

Mar 28,2025A simple sale took over 4months! Documents from our buyer were not passed on - some queries had been at Baker Ashley for two weeks and were only passed to us when we complained and asked where they were! Action was only taken on our sale when we chased up or complained. Don’t even bother with the complaints procedure - not taken seriously and she wasted time on phone call asking when we had received an out of office notification - not about the lack of communications or timely processing of documents! we received an email a month after the house was sold saying our complaint was not upheld. Would never ever use again or recommend to anyone.

But Sam, Caroline and the whole team at Baker Ashley were great all the way through. If either of them are assigned to your case you'll feel like you've won the house-buying lottery. As it was our first time, we knew very little going into the process and were susceptible to being overwhelmed by all the new information and steps we had to take, but they made it so unbelievably straightforward for us from start to finish and answered every single one of our silly little questions clearly. The house buying process is stressful enough but he communicated everything clearly and efficiently. It was an absolute pleasure to get to know him.
