Apr 14,2025We rented a Jeep Wrangler from Blue Car Rental for our trip around Iceland from March 19th to 27th — and honestly, it was one of the best choices we made! The car was comfortable, sturdy, and perfect for handling all the weather conditions we encountered. We did the full ring road, from the South to the North, driving through stunning landscapes: snow-covered roads, glaciers, black sand beaches, and breathtaking fjords. With the Jeep, we always felt safe and free to explore. One unforgettable moment? One night, in the middle of nowhere in northern Iceland, we stopped by the road and… we saw the Northern Lights dancing right above us! Without the car, we would’ve never reached that spot. A magical experience we’ll never forget. The service from Blue Car Rental was excellent, clear, professional, and helpful. Pick-up and drop-off were smooth and easy, with no hidden fees or stress. Apr 14,2025Simply superb experience in all aspects of the rental process 1. If you pre-checkin there is a lock box , where you can collect the keys. 2. I preferred the desk checkin, they patiently answered all my questions 3. i needed a cable for android car play and they gladly loaned it 4. Car was clean and instructions are very clear 5. i would highly recommend blue car rental to my family and friends

Apr 14,2025The smoothest and stress free renting experience. We rented a Defender for 4 days in Iceland that included the wifi box. The vehicle was in perfect condition. Due to my credit card (unable to receive push notifications) I was not able to check in ahead of time, but I received my keys from an associate in just a few minutes after arriving in KEF. At drop off, after the 4 days I was able to quickly drop the keys off again with no problem. So smooth. I would recommend Blue Car Rental to anyone.

Apr 14,2025I would rent from them again and highly recommend Blue Car Rental. I rented a small car that was perfect for the two of us and good on gas. Pick up was very easy at around 5am. When I dropped off the car they were very busy, but drop off was a separate line and they came over almost immediately. Returning was no problem, he took a quick look at the car and let me know I was all set to leave. An airport bus will take you there and back with all your luggage so that was very convenient. Overall I loved the car and renting was a super easy process.

Apr 14,2025My experience with Blue Car Rental was very great. Before the booking, I've made a lot of changes. I've changed the type of car, booking duration, number of drivers, and insurance. I could finish all the changes within the website seamlessly with transparent price. They also gave me opportunity to check in several days before the booking so that I got seamless check-in when I was in Iceland. Additionally, they also give me safe travel tips which are very helpful during my trip. During the check-in, I just need to take the key via deposit box at the counter without having to talk to any staffs. The car itself is a pretty new car with some little scratches. But, they were transparent with the bruises that they've had before in the contract so I was happy with that. The location of the check-in counter is outside of the airport compared to other famous brands that have check-in counters inside airports. But even if you order from famous brands, you still need to walk outside to take the car so I think in the end its the same lol. There was no problem at all during my usage of the car. I ordered Land Cruiser 150 4x4. I was hit by snowstorm and it can pass thicker snow very well. When I returned the car, I just handed over the key to the staff and that's all. Great experience! I compared the price with other brands and I see so far its much cheaper to book via Blue Car Rental rather than other famous brands. Overall, I have a perfect experience with Blue Car Rental during my visit in Iceland. Thank you Blue Car Rental!

Apr 14,2025They were kind and extremely flexible. We wanted to drop off the car at the place we picked up but in the last minute we asked if we can drop off at another place. Of course it was possible. The pick up and the drop off were fast. I can reconmend 100%
