Apr 14,2025It was a little tricky finding the shuttle from the airport in the rain, but once on the shuttle, it was a quick easy ride to check in. Our car was ready and equipped with tire studs and all that we needed for our adventure.

Apr 14,2025The experience was excellent, with clear guidelines provided from the beginning to the end of the trip. When we first picked up the car, the staff showed us exactly where to go and made sure we understood all the necessary precautions. Initially, we had a few challenges, such as figuring out how to reverse the car and close the back door properly. However, the Blue Car Rental staff responded quickly and came to assist us, which was incredibly helpful. Later during the trip, we encountered an accident where we got stuck in the snow. We contacted Blue Car Rental, and their team immediately helped us reach the car service and guided us through the insurance process. Overall, it was a great experience renting from Blue Car Rental, and I definitely plan to use their service again in the near future.

Apr 14,2025Getting the car was quick and easy. The only problem I had (probably because I was tired after the red eye flight) was I thought the site was actually AT the airport. It is a quick shuttle away from the airport, which was great, just took me a min to realize. I travelled with kids and the car seats nicely tucked in the trunk so I didn't have to go finding them from anyone.

Apr 14,2025Such a great experience with Blue Car Rental. Easy to use website, with clear and concise information about the different insurance options and what it covers. Simple to chose and book the car of my choice. Easy pick up at the main office in Reykjavík using the key collect system. Car was clean, full and perfect for our trip. On return, the office at the airport helped me with a problem I’d had with payment for parking as well as the return being easy and quick. A short walk back to the terminal was easy, even with a suitcase. Excellent from start to finish, would highly recommend and would use Blue Car Rental again

Apr 14,2025Before arriving at Iceland, we received emails from Blue Car Rental on checking in early to bypass talking to someone at the counter and go straight to getting the keys to the car. We got all the liability waiver and roadside assistance with the rental. Emails were detailed and informative on the driving etiquacy in Iceland. It also informed us on exactly where to go to get the car rental, whether walking or taking the free bus shuttle. During the trip, we also received emails on fuel discounts that were affiliated with certain gas stations to save us some money fueling up. Another detailed email was sent on how to drop off the car rental, so it was pretty easy and simple. Dropped the keys off to the employee at the counter in less than 30 seconds. Super convenient and easy. Was absolutely pain free and no headache at all. Couldn't recommend this company more.

Apr 14,2025My experience with Blue Car was excellent. The vehicle we selected was available as soon as we landed at Keflavik and the staff onsite were extremely friendly. The car was in good condition and any queries we had were answered quickly by Blue Car staff. The insurance offered by Blue Car was also excellent and put my mind at ease when driving across Iceland. Would definitely use Blue Car Rental again!

Pickup at Keflavik Airport was quick and easy – their office is right across the street from the terminal, and staff were friendly, professional, and fluent in English. Blue was very transparent about insurance options, and we opted for the full coverage (including gravel protection, which I’d recommend given Iceland’s roads). Apr 14,2025Great location, really easy pick up with the pin code and super fast drop off with a different system to drop off than collect - avoided a big queue! Easy to find shuttle bus when the luggage was too heavy or the weather isn't nice to walk. Super easy to find walking too Car had a couple of minor niggles but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our road trip around iceland
