DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY WHEN THINGS GO WRONG THEY WON'T BE THERE TO THELP YOU The lack of professionalism of this company is unreal 1) Shortcomings with service in SEVILLE. 2) Incomplete info at sales point, 3) Rude driver. 4) Wrong info from staff on ground. 5) EVASIVE After sales team USING SERVICE WITH WHEELCHAIR PASSENGER, On wanting to extend ticket, THEIR WRONG INFO ON THE GROUND AT STOP 1 MEANT WE HAD TO ABANDON TOUR TO GO BACK TO OUR HOTEL TO GET SOME RECEIPT AND THEN ALL THE WAY BACK TO STOP 1, TO RENEW. REALITY IS WE COULD HAVE DONE IT CLOSER TO OUR HOTEL. BUT THEY NEVER TOLD US. HAVING CUT TRIP SHORT, WE NEVER MADE IT BACK ON TIME . - Wrote to the international email address . NO answer. - Wrote to the Spanish team. Nnothing resembling a resolution. And disclaimer replies about how it's all on the website or in the leaflet. IT ISN'T - Wrote back to the main team once back in England. Was promised help by a guy called Shivam , help never came. - Called a week later, on insisting, I got promised a callback from a manager. Callback never came. - Called back the day after 23/9, and then knowing it was me they started simply putting the phone down or just not picking up. - Two redial attempts. One was 20 mins on the line . The other one 15 min. No one answered. By email They had the temerity to offer me 10% on my 'next trip' not acknowledging the main part of the complaint (wrong info on extending) Sadly I paid cash for the tickets , otherwise i could have simply gone back to my CARD PROVIDER with the EVIDENCE. The easiest and quickest way TO TAKE THE MONEY BACK FROM CITY SIGHTSEEING when they refuse to give you the service, pre or aftersales. FIFTY EUROS WASTED and a lot of GRIEF. AWFUL COMPANY., run by cowboys.
Nefasta experiencia. Empresa no recomendada. Ojo que nadie compre sus tours. Nadie se preocupa por informar al turista, los cambios de horarios. Nos dejaron en tierra, fuimos 6 personas a 100€ cada persona. Ellos cambian sus horarios y ahora dicen que nos reembolsan y se quedan con nuestro dinero. Ellos nos han tratado muy mal. Los turistas tenemos derechos. Es abusivo el trato que nos dan. El tour era desde Florencia hasta cinque terre, ida vuelta.
Nos vendieron el billete más caro que entraba tren y bus nos vendieron que cada 30 minutos aprox. Pasaba el bus nos hemos pegado 1 hora y 43 minutos esperando en una parada casualmente la 3 ( la escuela náutica). No lo compréis el bus al menos
Que aspectos no funcionaron?? No coger el telĂ©fono, poner una direcciĂłn, acudir allĂ y no haber nada?? Que en una reserva del Empire solo admitan a uno, y a los demás nos dejen entrar, porque segĂşn vtra polĂtica si hay algĂşn problema, se llama por telĂ©fono, acoste del cliente sin contar con el roaming. Que una atracciĂłn este cerrada 3 dĂas y en vtra página siga operativa?? Que para hacer un tour, tenga que estar 3 dĂas detrás de vtros, cuando tendrĂa que estar disfrutando del viaje, y al final no se pudo realizar?? Acudir a un tour, y media hora más tarde no presentarse nadie?? Creo que hay suficientes razones para NO RECOMENDARLES!! Todas las disculpas no son suficientes. Pues ntro tiempo tiene un valor que ustedes no han sabido gestionarlo.
What an horrible experience with this company. I just bought 3 tickets in Sevilla today for my mom, sister and I. Unfortunately, one of the ticket was lost in the bus during the first hop-on tour. Even with the receipt of the buy, City Sightseeing has refused to provide a duplicata of this ticket. This is not commercial at all… they are strong to sell you quickly the tickets, without informing you that if you loose your tickets, bad luck for you, but there is nothing they can do for you. The worst experience of my trips, I’ll never used anymore this company and I’ll not recommend it. There are other ways to enjoy the cities.

We purchased 48hr hop on hop off in Barcelona The Bus company in Barcelona could not recognise the QR code but did not throw us off but said we need to contact the company “City site seeing” to continue travel on another bus or day I called no answer sent email……. Use an official site for particular tour & county.
CITY SIGHTSEEING LONDON I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Beware of touring London with City Sightseeing HOHO tours. I delayed posting review about this company expecting that they would have the courtesy to provide us with an plausible explanation or acknowledgment of serious injuries my husband sustained on a City Sightseeing London tour on May 18, 2023. I have contacted the customer service centre via email numerous times with details of the incident, and they assure me they are forwarding it to London for response, but now, 3 months later our patience has run out. Our family of 7 were on upper deck of bus, and as we neared Westminster Bridge stop we prepared to leave bus. My 73 year old husband started down the stairs, with the rest of us following. As he neared the bottom steps the new passengers boarded, the driver shut the door and pulled away from the curb. He then noticed our family on bottom of stairs, stopped and opened door. Naturally we felt rushed to get off, my husband stepped down and out and was immediately hit by a cyclist coming from the left in the cycling lane. Both my husband and the cyclist were knocked to the pavement. As we dealt with their injuries and determined that they were both conscious and able to move my daughter went over to the driver and asked what he was thinking stopping in the traffic lane to the right of a bike lane. He yelled at her that he cautioned us to be careful (through a plexiglass screen), closed the door and drove away. He made no effort to get off bus to check on the victims. My husband suffered extensive bruising in his chest and a bruised ankle, resulting in difficulty breathing for several weeks, which really impacted his enjoyment of our long planned family trip as this occurred on day 1 of a 3 week cruise/road trip. The biggest injury though was to his confidence, which sadly will not likely repair itself. I was told initially through our hotel concierge that the company was reviewing the CCTV coverage and would be in touch, but to date City Sightseeing London has ignored us completely. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY. Customer service is terrible. We have been waiting since mid May for a response regarding injuries sustained when driver unloaded us into a bus lane, injuring my 73 year old husband as well as the cyclist who hit him, knocking both to street . Driver just pulled away without providing any assistance. Repeated emails to offshore Customer Service who claim to be forwarding our complaint to the London branch has resulted in no response.

I purchased tickets online on July 18 for July 19 tour to Hollywood Los Angeles but I had to cancel it a few minutes later because the group that I’m touring with couldn’t commit to the schedule. Customer service refused to refund because it was less than 24h when I cancelled. I told them i bought the tickets less than 24h from the intended trip so how can i possibly cancel the purchase ahead of time. Their answer: “In this case, your tickets are non-refundable. Sorry for the inconvenience”. This is an outright scam. They’ve just pocketed $245 of hard-earned money.
Booked a tour of Toronto for myself and my 4 kids. Paid for trip on 23rd June 2023. Voucher valid for 12 months. Unfortunately had to cancel the trip. Website says free cancellation. Company would not refund me, even although I had not exchanged my voucher for tickets. Customer service not interested and very rude.
Das Unternehmen antwortet nicht auf Kontakt Anfragen. Ich hatte 2 Städte gebucht, musste aber beide stornieren. Angeblich ist das ja 24 Stunden vorher kostenlos möglich... Für Stockholm habe ich eine Stornierungsbestätigung bekommen, aber seit Wochen das Geld nicht zurück. Für Helsinki ist meine Stornierung seit fast 2 Wochen in Bearbeitung... Alle Anfragen über das Kontaktformular bleiben unbeantwortet. Ich würde jedem empfehlen, die Finger von diesem Unternehmen zu lassen.
Milan July 2023 Green line worst experience ever. We waited 30 minutes inside the bus dying of hot weather no AC was connected over period stay.. Drivers are arrogant not helping, we requested to put ON the AC they showed zero reaction and cooperation.. Do not recommend
Excellent service! I had booked a boat tour with City Sightseeing Amsterdam but had to cancel. The service I received from Natascha was first class. She responded very quickly and reassured me that my tickets could be transferred to another date or refunded. She also offered a 10% discount voucher as a good will gesture. Although I did not do the tour, I hope to rebook at some point as they are a very professional company with brilliant support services for when things do not go as planned. Thank you Natascha for being so helpful and efficient. You are a great representative for this company.
they told us we could get back on the bus from the stops every 15 minutes until 16.30 and then it would be every 30 minutes. we paid 17 pounds each for 3 ppl and they dropped us off once we've been waiting for 35 minutes and they never showed up. i call them no answer. we couldve just ubered everywhere we wanted with that money and now we're feeling kinda stranded outside the central and having to uber anyway wasting 50 pounds on nothing rly. the information on the bus was not anything special either

Incumplieron el servicio establecido en el Ăşltimo servicio que sale desde la estaciĂłn de termini con lo que ello supone y el impacto en el resto del viaje. No solo eso, sino además tuvimos respuestas diversas durante el tiempo de espera, 20 minutos. Con el coste que tiene el servicio que es y el coste que tiene, me parece inadmisible la respuesta ofrecida despuĂ©s, ninguna. 100euros tirados a la basura
I tried to book an Edinburgh trip several times over the course of a week. I contacted customer services three times-they were really unhelpful and kept telling us to use another card (despite trying on several occasions with 3 different cards and the money went out as pending each time). Awful website and flippant staff who couldn't seem to care less
Booked a 2 day ticket in Portugal. Used the red route and the green. The stops on the map don’t correspond to the bus stops! Decided to go to Castelo S. Jorge the stop on the map said 7 but it was way before that so rather than go round again thought we get off at stop 1 which said Marques de Pombal near our hotel but the bus stopped 3 and the driver said it was stop 1?! So got off. If you don’t want a confusing bus ride don’t use them.
I know I have to read the small print in the conditions, but city-sightseeing.com didn't have to treat their customers with indifference and lack of understanding. On the 9th I went to the site and bought two vouchers for the biggest tour of Athens. I made the payment online and moments later I get the confirmation. I notice that on the Voucher it says "Date 10-Jun-23", I was amazed because I retained two notices that appear on the Site "Validity 12 Months" and "Free Cancellation". I went to the site again and then I noticed that in the booking you have to put the date and by default it put the day after and as my visit is only 4th July, I rushed to ask for a refund, the result, the site let me cancel the voucher and didn't warn me that I was less than 24 hours away from the booking. Result, I got the voucher cancelled and City-sightseeing.com will not refund the 66€, because I cancelled before 24 hours! After some emails with support, they confirmed that they would not activate the voucher nor refund the 66€! Questions? 1. If they say it's valid for 12 Months, why is it necessary to put a date? 2. If they do not return the money, less than 24 hours after booking, why the site does not warn and keep the voucher active? The arrogance of a company of this size would be unnecessary, just check the time of booking and cancellation, which were minutes to proceed, even if they could not make refund or reactivate the voucher, they gave me a discount coupon. But I did a good deed of donating €66 to SightSeeing.com, which certainly need my €66 more than my son. Thank you and SightSeeing.com, never again!
