Understanding my desires and answering all my questions.
We were never given our $75 ship board credit for booking with them. I booked 3 rooms which meant we were due a total of $225 on our credit cards. The cruise line itself knew nothing about this and told us to contact Cruises.com. You are put on hold for a long time. When someone answers you are put on hold again while that person supposedly looks into it and comes back to the phone and says "Are you still there? I'm still looking into it." Then you are told a case will be filed with the cruise company. The cruise company calls and says the case does not contain anything about credit card shipboard credit and to call cruises.com. They just want to take your money, can't answer any questions, don't tell you what's included in your ticket. BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE CRUISE LINE!
False advertising! My husband and I are avid cruisers, ramping up recently to more than 10 cruises a year, so we are well-versed with the changes and pricing for the cruise lines we use. I was searching for a 14-day Xmas cruise on their website, and on April 2, it was advertised at $1419, a great price. Upon clicking to the next step, the price changed to $1799! I emailed an agent at cruises.com and included a screenshot showing the advertised price on the website, and had to chase for an explanation. On April 3, she responded via a voicemail stating that the former price did not include port taxes and fees, which brought the price from $1428 to the post-$295 price of $1723. 1. First, the price online was $1419, not $1428. 2. For several months now, regulations have required pricing to include port taxes and fees. 3. Consistent with #2, the new price on their website is $1799, and stays at $1799 when you click further into the booking process, not $1723. Do not book with them, as their final prices are inconsistent with their advertised rates, and even the explanation from an agent with "Over 45 years luxury concierge experience" (Lori Cordes, ext. 78239) flat out lied to cover it up. BUYER BEWARE!
Way too aggressive sales tactics during the booking process. They overpromise on discounts and credits as most of these never come through. I won't use them ever again.
Smooth sailing on securing reservation….looking forward to an enjoyable and safe adventure
Easy to book online. Very informative with chat. Called for more information and the woman was very helpful.
Great cruise associate (Connor Cross). He has helped us for several years. He is the best.
Linda Ledbetter has been our Cruise.com agent for over 10years. She is thorough, knowledgeable and is absolutely fantastic to deal with. I highly recommend requesting her!!!
The customer service representative, Eddy was so kind, patient and helpful. This is the 5th time booking cruises with them. It’s always been a good experience; usually with some extra perks too
A great co. to work with. The staff was great.
Very friendly. Answered all of my concerns
One good friend cruise to Alaska often, and enjoy her adventure every time. She highly recommend cruising with the Royal Caribbean.
I am still waiting to see how well this site works. Not sure how long it will take to show up on my Royal Caribbean account
Do not use. Had to pay additional fees to select a cabin.. not made clear in online booking. Customer support offered no remedy.
I logged onto the Cruises. Com Website. Ease of locating and Cruise, was quite easy. Would recommend SITE to Others.
Briana (travel agent! was knowledgeable, pleasant, thorough and very helpful!
Great customer service. I love your prices. Everyone in your company is very helpful
Pleasant person
This company will promise you things like on board credit and will not follow through. When I called about it, my agent never called back and the agent I finally talked to told me it was my fault because I didn't call them enough and remind them. They did not come through with other services (putting in my cruise line loyalty numbers, putting in the celebrations we had on the cruise). I had to do all of that myself.

Apr 26,2025I no longer book through the cruise line itself because cruises.com. has everything I want. I don’t understand why the cruise companies don’t have what cruises.com does. The prices are better on cruises.com. The options of so many different cruise lines are amazing! I really prefer their payment options too. I made a mistake right after booking a cruise with cruises.com and needed to call customer service. The representative, obviously had a smile on her face when she answered my phone call. She fixed my mistake and was just so pleasant about it. Cruises.com is the best! With Service like I received and all of the above mentioned there’s no reason why I would ever go back to booking with the cruise line directly.
