DO NOT BUY THE INSURANCE From CRUISES.COM DIRECTLY!!! We Bought the insurance through cruises.Com. We were unfortunately lost our house in hurricane Helene. A uninhabited home was covered under AON insurance. We filled all the paper work along with our other friends. It has been 6 mo. All I get is a request for more of the same paper work or someone else’s paper work . I continue to send the same paperwork in over and over it’s like 50 first dates! Cruises.com said we can’t help you we only sell it!! But they told the insurance company we took a credit??? I got a letter from Virgin Cruises that I did not take a Credit. And when you call them on it they hang up on you! My advice get your own Insurance.
Easy booking
The website states to call in to make reservation for the free parking deal. It does not say there is a minimum cabin value amount required. The agent refused to give me the promo. I use cruises.com all the time. If I had known I could not get the parking promo I would have booked on line and not spend a 10-15 wait time for an answer over the phone. Very disappointing.
This is our 2nd time using Cruises.com. Both times have been Flawless. Sara is excellent and has been very responsive and helpful!

Unfortunately Effie Stone couldn’t find the cruise I wanted at the price I wanted to pay, BUT she was brilliant and kept me fully informed all the time. I will definitely use them in the future. 5 Stars.
Ann, in Florida at ext. 33476, was outstanding when we could not reach our original counselor to change our original booking. She verified it would be a minimal cost change, issued us a refund for the lower cost generated by the change, ship credits, etc., etc Kudos to Ann!!!!!!!
Customer service was helpful with getting a cruise booked at a decent rate in a short amount of time. They did not disclose all the additional fees that would be added after booking. They promote parking included, and money on board after booking, however, read carefully because parking is only included for cruises over 8 nights, and on-board money is only $25 for a balcony room. Get travel insurance through a third party company as it's cheaper and provides more coverage than what cruises.com offers. So, customer service was good, but transparency on most perks was not great. Also do extensive research on the cruise ship if traveling with toddlers, most ships do not allow swim diapers of any kind in pools, and very limited activities for toddlers on Mariner of the Seas despite cruises.com sales person saying that the ship was toddler friendly and had a splash pad, it did not have a splash pad and all slides are for older children.
Fast and easy to use website to find cruises you’re looking at. Easy to book had no issues and picked room I wanted.
Found a good price for a summer cruise. Called and talked to Tom. He was really helpful. Made the whole booking really easy. Even gave me his direct extension if I have any further questions. Will definitely use him again!
I booked a cruise 🚢 after a text Chat with an agent. I specified that I wanted a room with a seating area (typically a Mini Suite ) and the CHAT agent confirmed my choice with a link to a booking site. I booked what I thought was that specific type of Room with a Seating Area, but the confirmation email I received later listed a Premium Balcony (PB) Room. I looked into it further online and the PB type room doesn’t have a seating area. I got on the phone and tried to straighten it out. To my great relief, a lovely lady named Ann saved the day by securing a Mini-Suite for my mom and me without a huge increase in the final price. That was such a great gift of helpfulness. I’m truly grateful for Ann’s support and the tips she shared on how best to plan, prepare, and enjoy our March 2025 trip.

While checking my loyalty points at Royal Caribbean came across a cruise that appealed to me. I called Lynn Mckinney(my travel agent at Cruises.com) and within 15 minutes the suite i wanted was booked. I have a medical issue which is causing me to miss a Sept.8,2024 cruise from Galveston and that cruise was canceled in the same phone call. This kind of service is why I keep calling Lynn year after year. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable, professional service each and every time. and when the occasional problem arises it is solved without a gripe. Just like this booking!
I have gone on many cruises over the last 25 years with my family. In the past, I had always booked directly with the cruise line, so I had never used a service like cruises.com before. I decided to use them this time because I was really busy and I only had a short window of time where my whole family could get together for this cruise, so I wanted to know all of my options quickly. When I called cruises.com, I got to speak with John Pierce, who was very helpful. He took the time to really listen to what I was looking for, and then he gave me several options that met my criteria. After talking to me for some time, John also helped me realize that some things were more important to me than others, and that helped me make my decision. John never made me feel rushed. In fact, when it was getting late and I decided I wanted to run some things by one of my family members before making my final decision, he nicely offered to call me back the next day. He called me back the next day at exactly the time that he said he would call, and we completed the booking. He answered all of my questions — and I definitely had a lot of questions! — and he made the booking process extremely easy for me. I was very happy with all of my interactions with John Pierce and cruises.com. John was extremely knowledgeable about the different cruises and cruise lines and was always very patient and professional. I will definitely use cruises.com — and John Pierce — again next time we go on a cruise!
