The value they offer is on the very low end of what is offered by other agents. On top of that, as another reviewer said, their value is also watered down even more by charging $25 upfront just to book the cruise through them. I usually use another agent but thought I would give cruises.com an opportunity to earn my business. This will be the first and last time I use them based strictly on value. The agent was nice and helpful, but the company policies are not client friendly. I booked multiple cabins and had one that required cancellation due to cruise line policy regarding pregnancy. There was nothing I could do about the cancellation. The cruise line gave me a full refund, cruises.com charged me $100. At this point, I have $0.00 value offered after all the charges to book 3 cabins and then cancel 1. Heck, I could just go through Costco with no charges to book or cancel and get a couple hundred dollars in Costco rewards. Looks like I'm going back with my other agent, should have never changed in the first place based on the fees I'm having to pay to book our cruise.

Robin Schafer at Cruises.com is now our go to person when we want to book a cruise. He is very pleasant and thorough and has surpassed our expectations each time. We often compare *many* cruises and he happily helps us with that, whereas agents with a different website often got grumpy during our past booking attempts.
I called Cruises.com, my TRAVEL AGENT to get assistance with buying a transfer from the airport to the pier and back again. Was not offered an opportunity to buy the transfer at the time of booking on their website. I couldn't login (scary, no?) and got a message to call. The rep told me to take an Uber because he could not sell me a transfer. What use is a travel agent if I have to call the cruise line myself for everything?
We had to cancel due to a child illness. I spoke to one representative that told me they have the ability to waive the cancelation fee since I'd been a previous customer and had never canceled before. Since the cruise was booked by my husband, I was told he'd have to call back and complete the cancelation....when he did the representative would not honor the waiver request stating we should have bought the insurance. We will never book through this company again.

I booked 2 cabins and they need to be paid separately. I paid for the first room and while paying for the second one, apparently they had some technical issues what costed a delay and the price when up for $200. According to them, the prices come directly from the cruise line so it was nothing to be done about it. Horrible. It cost me more money.
