I went through the online booking of a cruise on the cruises.com website. After going through the process of everything I decided I wanted to go back a page and add something to our package. I immediately got an email with a confirmation for a cruise. I didn't mean for that to happen so I called the company immediately and told them that. I was hoping I could reconfirm the cruise with the changes. Cruises.com did not let me. They said it was final but said they'd cancel it and charged me $100 cancel fee and $24.95 processing fee. They didn't cancel with the cruises lines!!! I then got an email from my credit card company stating they charged me $500 deposit to the cruise line, $124.99 for them. This is highway robbery. My credit card company got the $500 refunded but Cruises.com kept their money. NEVER will I EVER use those people again. In less than 15 minutes I was out $124.99!!!!!! BEWARE! UPDATE: I disputed the charges and got the $500 cruise deposit back. Cruises.com still kept the $124.99. AVOID!

The first person 2 nights ago I spoke with was not very helpful at all. She was more interested in doing something else..besides helping me on the phone with my questions. Her name was Michelle. Absolutely the worst customer service rep I have ever come across. Fast forward to last night..when I called and got this wonderful lady who was responsive to my concerns and was able to talk to her supervisor and the cruiseline to merge my cruise credits so I could use them on a cruise I was booking. She literally moved mountains and I cannot thank her enough. Amazing!!! I don't recall her name though. She worked diligently to resolve this issue with cruise credits not showing up for past cruises. Thanks to the lady lady, my attitude towards Cruises.com increased. I will recommend you to my family and friends!😊Thanks so much!!!

Title of the review says it all. Be aware that some agents can be very argumentative and failed to please us. Tried to get the room originally we saw available booked by agent 3 times but there is a lack of clear defining confirmation before deposit. At least in our situation. We canceled after so looking forward to the Christmas cruise we saved for.

Update 8/19/22: No return calls, emails, or messages from Cruises.com in response to any of my contacts. Issue remains unresolved five weeks after my initial complaint. Recently (6 days ago) booked two cabins (same ship, same category, same sailing) on RCCL via Cruises.com website at approx 11:30pm. The first reservation went through without any issues (other than not every offer listed was actually applied). The second one triggered an error message, stating I needed to call due to payment issue, which I did. Turns out there was no payment issue and the credit card company immediately showed the charge for both cabins pending/processing. The agent on the phone stated the glitch was in communication between their system and Royal's, but it would be cleared up the next day. I specifically asked about the incentives offered, to make sure they would be properly applied, and was assured there was no problem due to some 24 hr rule. She promised to call the next day to follow-up...no call received. Instead, I spoke with someone via chat, who stated she couldn't help because there was a fraud hold on the booking. Fortunately, both reservations were already in RCCL's system. Strange, but whatever. Called again and spoke to another agent, Karen, who was seemingly very helpful but clueless. There was, in fact, no fraud hold to be found. She spoke to a supervisor, who insisted that the second reservation had been made after midnight; therefore, the incentives didn't apply. Funny how their records showed I was speaking to an agent at 11:50pm about the error message, and my credit card statement shows the payment date that same day. When Karen finally realized I was correct, she promised to email the main office and follow up in a few days with her contact info. I received an updated invoice today, with one minor incentive added, but not the most important ones. All they had to do was literally duplicate the codes/offers from the first reservation, which was made at basically the same time on the same date, but I'm assuming that won't happen. Of course, no contact info other than the main phone# was attached. I'll have a great cruise regardless (we are frequent cruisers), but I will never use this company again. Buyer Beware!
I called Cruises.com because I couldn’t find the same package as shown on Princess Cruise Line’s website. I spoke with Lynn who was amazing. She was very pleasant and helpful, staying past the end of her shift to help me.
Everything was excellent
I was hesitant to call and book a cruise because of all the bad experiences I’ve had with other agents before. But McKenzie made me very comfortable and she was great. She didn’t try to upsell or make us buy features that we did not want or need. She gave us great advice. It couldn’t have been easier. I am very pleased with her and her service. I would absolutely do this again.
