Jan 07,2025I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere thanks for the outstanding service GDlegal provided during the purchase of my property. Found them online, and I called. Lewis Rabani made me feel welcome, and whenever the process was dragging (it was a probate property), Lewis was there to quickly resolve it. I had 3 attorneys working on it, but the hand over was really smooth. The app helped as I didn’t have to print documents. I also didn’t pay an extra money that was not advertised. The star was Ahmed Al-Ridai, the last attorney on the case. He was very professional, had attention to detail, and clear communication throughout the process. I needed to move in before September and he made sure the seller’s attorney did their part to ensure I got the key in August- a week before my rent expired. Ahmed was diligent, and I felt confident knowing that my interests were being well represented. Even when I needed to pay extra fees, Ahmed was transparent with the breakdown of the fees. Additionally , Ahmed has been responding to my update on the post completion process. I’m grateful for the smooth and timely completion of the transaction, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend GDlegal services to others.

Jan 03,2025Terrible terrible experience, I made the mistake of using them to buy my first property, they are nothing like their website. They had no care or consideration for my case, took on average 10-12 days to reply to any email, whilst they never responded to the sellers solicitor leading to them almost pulling out of the sale. Furthermore, they never picked up the phone despite repeated emails, calls and voicemails to try to get any response. I finally got a response when I threatened to move to a different solicitor, with no care or consideration or explanation for their silence. My biggest mistake was not moving to a different solicitor sooner, as they lost me 3 months and the purchase would have fallen through if I stuck with them. If you want your case handled well and want your solicitor to respond to you then I strongly advise you to not use this company.

Dec 19,2024We employed GD Property Lawyers to do our conveyancing for the sale of my 5 bedroom house. We had Zumman for our services. He was always polite, professional and kept me updated on a regular basis. Even when Zumman was on holiday GD property appointed a professional cover who continued to support us throughout the service. I'm also engaged in the process of my partners Property sale with a different Solicitor and the communication is awful so thank-you Zumman for providing us with your services I will happily use you again. I had prompt responses to questions and with a deadline of 56 days to complete Tibbie was quick to complete the necessary checks, gave me clear instructions and we were ready to complete with a week to spare before deadline. Thank you Tibbie for making the process as simple as possible. I love my new home.

Nov 19,2024We are currently using GD legal for the sale & purchase. We have used them in the past and had a positive experience but this time round is completely different. We had one case handler who we complained about twice and asked for a new one but was denied. We are weeks away from completion and we have had two new case handlers in the space of two weeks. We have spoken to managers and logged complains but no one responds. We have already lost one buyer due to a number of reasons and one of them being the case handler. As we are so near completion (we think because no one tells us anything) we can’t change solicitors but if we could we would.

She always remained calm and professional on the phone, honestly, that saved us a so much anxiety. Professionalism, organisation and working well and accurately under pressure/ time frames is how I would describe how she has been. We really could not have asked for anymore from her. Oct 30,2024I can’t recommend GD Legal enough. Very smooth process from start to completion. I worked with Jaya and she was top, I would definitely recommend her in particular. Her communication was second to none and she was always on the front foot with enquiries and trying to move the process along in a timely fashion. I will be purchasing property again in the future and have already requested to use them and in particular Jaya on all other purchases.

Oct 24,2024Begrudge even giving this solicitors 1 star. Literally zero communication, delayed responses and basically zero getting done. I’m certainly not one to post bad reviews but after endless emails and phone calls (which are a waste of time) nothing seems to get done. It’s always us chasing for answers, I feel without anyone constantly pushing them I wonder if anything would actually get done? I’m fully aware house sales take time and delays are expected which is part and parcel of being in a house chain but I’m not the only one who has this opinion. Nothing bitter, just an honest review of my experience.

Oct 23,2024I received a quote from ReallyMoving, but when I called them, they said that they can't locate that quote and quoted me £60 higher (based on the same information). Then, in the fine print of that quote, I see an additional £25 mandatory disbursement not included in the quote, sneaky! The person I spoke with, Lewis, refused to do address or do anything about this - just kept repeating "ultimately, the choice is yours". I submitted a complaint about this and no response in 12 days. So dear prospective buyers, the choice is yours!

Oct 17,2024Absolutely horrible experience. Our solicitor Myisha, has completely neglected us throughout the process and now our sale is at risk of falling through. She has taken weeks to reply to us via email, we have tried calling every single day and she's always "too busy." She has gotten our names wrong in multiple documents, even after correcting her, she kept getting them wrong, which has delayed the process further. She has missed a lot of things leading to the sale being delayed over and over. AVOID THIS SOLICITOR AT ALL COSTS, it will give you unnecessary headache, prolong everything, and possibly put your sale at risk
