They always deduct more than the stipulated fare from my bank card. £6.40 (9.15) if one doesn't call for a refund they keep it. How can this be allowed to function in this modern world? I would need a total refund for all my transactions from day one. Otherwise I will take legal action against you and give it the highest publicity it deserves.
The service was prompt both in answering the phone and in getting the car to me on a day when Arriva had cancelled the buses due to light snow!
I booked a taxi at 1-10pm 21st of Feb, I had to repeat the time as the person I spoke to said 3-10pm no I said my train is for 1-45pm not only did I miss my train I had to pay for another ticket as it was booked so I was out of pocket for £29 I ended up waiting nearly an hi our for a replacement, I msg this compa not y to tell them I would like a refund on ticket I lost but nothing returned, very bad company!
Very unusually for Go-Carz I had a quick arrival of a taxi to go home from hospital outpatients and the bonus of a friendly and intelligible driver. I had great qualms since the driver who took me to hospital yesterday had little English and didn't seem to understand when I told him there was nowhere for the seat belt to be fitted. The fitting was simply broken or torn off. I reported that incident, but I have nothing but praise for the driver on the return journey. At no other time have I wanted to give a 5-star review for this taxi firm, and I agree they have too much presence in this region.
I cannot imagine driver waiting 20 minutes for me if I was sat in pub drinking, yet I am expected to wait 20 minutes for taxi despite booking for certain time?? App and totally rude woman who answered phone kept saying driver on way despite being so late. Go Cars have monopoly locally so no regard for customer care. Felt sorry for driver 😕
Lovely driver, I accidentally left my keys at my pick up location and he took me back to get them, he was brilliant!!! 10/10 mal was brilliant!!!!

Do not use this service if your life depends on it , had a taxi booked for well over a week , on the night I called to make sure the taxi was in its way only to be told that the booking was not guaranteed??? Really but I’ve booked this over a week ago , yeah we can’t guarantee that we can get you a taxi , if one’s available in the area then that’s ok otherwise it’s just a case of waiting if we can get you one then great otherwise sorry !!!!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!!! Will never use them ever ever ever again !! Avoid like the plague
The worst possible service. I booked a taxi for Friday night on Tuesday. 55 minutes before the taxi was due to arrive I got a call from the call-handler to say the taxi wasn't turning up. They didn't have a car in the area. After 3 days of accepting a booking, and less than1 hour before it's due to arrive they tell me the taxi isn't coming. What are they expecting me to do? Produce another taxi from thin air. This is absolutely appalling. Don't use Go Carz if you need a definite pick up. They will simply drop you with no come back whatsoever.
Excellent service to Manchester Airport, the taxi was very clean and a pleasant driver.
Wolverhampton branch treated us like dirt today, rang for taxi and it was booked historically that means I expect a taxi, a few minutes late and when I enquired it wasnt the usual oh its on its way its running late something I can expect but when I am told by a rude lady on the other end THIS IS HOW WE DO BUSINESS WE SEND OUT OUR JOBS TO INDEPENDENT DRIVERS WHO BID ON JOBS AND WE GIVE IT TO THEM mid way through this farce was conveniently given a your taxi is in a busy area (not busy in wombroune) and will be late this came after I was told my mother who is partially sighted will have to wait an hour by the rude woman even when I stressed the importance of having someone with a disability all this woman could say is we are a successful business to which I point out trip advisor says 1 and a half star says otherwise and 3 name changes clearly means something had to change, I feel bad for the drivers earning a living especially when I was rung by one ten minutes later explaining he could be ten minutes away and had to decline as I had to get my mother on a bus and escort her home safely, my knowledge and history of taxis has been book it it turns up all of sudden this has changed, since when? Disgusting service and I thought 247 cars was bad!
I cannot emphasise enough how unreliable this company's service is, especially in the Telford area. Since taking over other firms during the last two years it has established a monopoly for taxi services in the area. The results are dire. In my own case they accepted a booking seven hours before it was required and confirmed it by text message. So they had plenty of notice. Yet when I phoned after the cab failed to arrive I was told no-one would be picking me up because the venue was too remote. I then received a text message cancelling my taxi. The situation was rescued by the venue's manager who drove me the three miles to my home. This autocratic monopoly on taxi services in the Telford region must surely be examined by the licensing authority.
App dont work accurate simple it wont pick up from right address and closest to home i could get was 500 yds . Its ur buisness why would u not have it accurate.it sums up the pathetic input by owners
Absolutely useless taxi company. Numerous times waiting time for the taxi to arrive have been an hour or more.
Was charged twice for my taxi fare. Rang up three times and still no refund after being promised this. Called again and still waiting on a call back.
If I could leave zero stars I would. Never been happy with this company, but tonight was the final straw! Booked taxi before 10pm on a Saturday evening via the app. When booked it gave a price of £9.50, yet upon completing journey the fare was now £11.90. I will never ever use this company again, no matter how desperate I may be. They are the single worst taxi company I have ever known to exist. I cannot wait for the day when a competitive company steps up in the Shrewsbury area and takes them down a peg or two. Woeful, beyond comprehension, and it won’t matter to them that they get yet another negative review. Until people stop using them they will continue their abusive practices.
Very disappointed with Go Carz. I booked a taxi Thursday morning via the automated voice service for Thursday afternoon. I booked a taxi for 3pm and a taxi still had not arrived by 3:30. I then rang the office and was told that because I had booked a taxi via the automated voice service I would have to wait an hour. At this point I had missed my train. What was the point in booking a taxi if one isn’t going to show up. The staff at go carz were not very apologetic. I was not made aware of any road closures or any delays with the taxis. Very dissatisfied with this service. I do not recommend them and will be using other taxi services in Shrewsbury from now on.
Ive been using go carz many times over the last few months to attend hospital,the cars are very good as are the drivers....Always on time . Great service, reasonable prices
Booked a taxi from codsall train station to perton for 22.30. This was booked at 20.30 two hours before. At 23.30 I phoned to ask where the taxi was to have the phone put down on me. Phoned again to be put on hold for 5 minutes. Phoned again and got nothing but apologies. By this time I had to phone my son who got out of bed to pick myself and wife up.

Mar 24,2023Booked a taxi from Birmingham airport back to Wolverhampton go carz also took us outbound I still have email confirming our booking both ways on 23 /03 we rang the office to say we had arrived on the car park and had our bags we were told the taxi will be arriving in 10 mins 30 minutes later we called again your taxi will be 3 mins 10 minutes later we called again only to be told no taxi was coming to collect us and they were sorry we had to get an Uber cab that arrived 3 mins after booking it cost 80 pounds to get home so thanks gocarz we will never use you again and advise others not to use you
