I ordered a few things from them over 5 days ago and don’t have a confirmation email, tracking number or receipt BUT they took money from my account almost immediately. I have no idea if I will ever get my items and don’t have an order number to chase. I’ve emailed but have no idea if I will get the items or the money back. In these trying times, I would have thought they would want to help their customers.
Excellent customer service. I ordered from Heaton and had a despatch email very quickly then waited a little while for my delivery which was down to the supplier. I contacted the company via e mail and they were very helpful in tracing the order and it was delivered shortly after. Great Customer service in difficult and trying times.
Extremely disappointed in this company I have been waiting for over a week for my purchase I have sent 2 emails and had no response from them, payment for the items have been taken too
Ordered in July, got about 75% of the order about two weeks later. The resting s still not here, cannot contact them, no communication from them, as everyone is saying they are a complete joke and clearly not above posting very obviously fake reviews to try and pad out the awful ones they rightly deserve. Please avoid them, they deserve to end up in the gutter for the complete lack of decency on their part. If they had any interest in trying to do the right thing their website and answer phone message would be highlighting the issues, and stating what they were doing about them.
Ordered and paid for a water boiler. Nothing since. email doesn't exist. Telephone service is dead.They are non-contactable. Fraudsters - should be locked up.
THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE - AVOID!!! I placed an order in June They never delivered the goods but after trying to contact them multiple times (and by multiple i mean phoning and emailing EVERYDAY) i still got no response. I disputed the transaction with Barclaycard to which i received a refund dispute. A few weeks later i had a call from a Jayne who works for Heaton Catering, she told me the goods has been delivered today and sent me a POD. I explained we had sourced these good from elsewhere now as delivering them 2 months later was not acceptable and i also explained how even after trying to contact the company everyday to cancel the order and get a refund i was ignored. She apologised and said they would arrange for the items delivered to be collected and refunded. A couple of weeks later the items were collected but we have still not had a refund. Heaton Catering have a signed POD of the delivery so Barclaycard have now taken the credit back! So we are left £444.61 out of pocket and now we dont even have the items! I have tried to call Heaton but it just gives an automated message to email, when i email the sales or service email or even Jayne from accounts email - i get no response. This company is absolutely disgusting and they should be ashamed! AVOID
I got my order and it's exactly as described. It delayed about 2 weeks and due to all the bad reviews I was concerned I could lose my money. I had to email them and no one replied, instead after a few days I received my order. Took 1 star away as communication towards customers should be improved.
I ordered yesterday morning at 10.45 and received my GenWare plates by 10.30 this morning, all in perfect condition. Superb service!
Never dealt with a company with so many negative reviews that still seem to keep trading. Terrible website, won't answer any calls and zero customer service. After receiving a second order from them, taking just under two weeks to arrive, found it was incomplete and unusable. A simple call, email or offering of a replacement would be the least we would expect. We just got a handwritten note saying items will be sent after 23 December - two months away. We were relying on this delivery for our business but now have to go elsewhere and return our incomplete order. When we started looking into this organisation, found so many horrific reviews and sorry we had made an order from them. Their number goes straight to answer machine with no opportunity to leave a message, and points consumers to an email address that they don't answer. We know it's a challenging trading environment out there but businesses like this should be ashamed of the way they are conducting themselves.
AVOID AT ALL COST. IN THE PROCESS OF GOING TO NEWCASTLE TRADING STANDARDS TO TRY AND GET A REFUND.
Just to update - a little after posting a critical review (after no-show of goods and no answers to emails or phone), I got a sudden rush of very welcome info and then within 24 hours the delivery of my original order (upgraded to avoid a further couple of weeks' delay). So I can now agree with all the five-star reviews here as well as all the zero star reviews; be that as it may, I can reassure other customers that the company delivered my order within a couple of weeks.
Ordered just over £75 worth of stock in June. Unfortunately some items were never received. Emails and phone calls go unanswered, I would look avoid and buy products from elsewhere as it seems I am not only one in this situation!!
I ordered some tableware from Heaton Catering, after a week I chased for a delivery date. They got back and informed me that some of the set I had ordered was out of stock. They promptly issued me a full refund. Many thanks Darren
Ordered items on 27th September 2020 paying via Paypal. The only communication I've had from them about my order was an automatic email confirming payment the same day. Two weeks later and not heard a peep from them, no goods, nothing. Tried phoning and got a recorded message saying they're only taking email enquiries. That made me instantly suspicious! I don't know whether they're having to backorder stuff to fulfil my order from the manufacture or, more likely, they're on the verge of folding up as a company. Because I paid by Paypal I can (eventually) retrieve payment from them, and of course Paypal are now on the case. Heaton's stuff seem well priced but I'd prefer to spend a few quid more at Nisbets where you get guaranteed next day delivery. Lesson learned!
Unfortunaely many of the negative reviews on here are accurate. I paid nearly £60 for goods that have simply never arrived. Once I chased I was told they were out of stock and was offered a refund which involved having to fill a form in which had to be scanned and sent back as it was pdf! To date, still no credit. Avoid.
Ordered and paid goods weeks ago, nothing arrived, tried calling, texting, emailing-not even the courtesy of a response. Awful and frustrating waste of time and effort. Would I use them again? - ABSOLUTELY NOT
1 star is too many! Haven't received part of my order placed months ago and still waiting. Contacted them via email and phone numerous times and NOTHING back at all!
I have made purchases from Heaton Catering Company several times over the years and have always been pleased by the competitive prices and prompt delivery. Whilst some other customers appear to have experienced difficulties dealing with them I have not. I recently placed 2 orders on 23rd September, having not seen the negative reviews until afterwards. I emailed the next day outlining my concerns but received a prompt email back from Lauren who confirmed that the orders were being processed and that I should receive the 1st parcel on 25th September which it did. The 2nd parcel arrived on 29th as advised. Both parcels arrived in good condition i.e. no breakages. Although some other customers have had difficulties with their orders I assume this is related to the Covid pandemic. It is a difficult time for us all and it has taken time for some companies to get used to new procedures. My recent experience of dealing with the company was that of an efficient supplier of catering equipment and I have nothing negative to add.
I did not read reviews before purchasing, but the service and products have been first class. I have no criticism at all ..... sorry! Oh, I am also a real person, not a plant!!! Bryan
