Mar 02,2025Needed replacement parts after storm damage. Easy to do, but had to buy ready-packaged quantities of all parts making the job much more expensive. Presumably it's not worth the company's while to supply what replacements are required.

Feb 20,2025Really disappointing as I ordered in March 2024 and no instruction manual was included which caused delay as we could not check for any items or assembly. When we finally received the instruction manual after contacting , we realised the roof was missing and had not been delivered. After multiple contacts there was no confirmation of when the roof panel will be delivered as they were not sure if roof was in UK or Germany. I now need to use the marquee again and needed to buy spare parts due to damage and have been quoted an extortionate amount. I purchased the marquee for approximately £1500, which included over 100 poles. However, I have received a quote of £650 for around 20 poles. When I spoke with customer service, I was informed that the £650 price already includes a 20% discount.

Feb 19,2025The Marquee was easy to assemble and take down, the delivery was also prompt. The marquee was good value and it looks more expensive than it cost. We also required a spare pole and this is being done efficiently from the company, excellent customer service. Very happy with our purchase.

Feb 13,2025The tent is terrible, it ripped after 4 days. The cover failed where it had been folded for transport. The material it’s made from is cheap and nasty. I emailed to ask for a refund but was told if I read the description it says not tested for wind or snow. Should be taken down, who wants a shelter that they have to take down every time there is a small breeze. I now have a load of metal tubes and a ripped cover sat in a pile not to be used. Waste of £2000. Don’t waste your money

Feb 09,2025If you live in the UK these products are not fit for purpose, and unfortunately I received a really poor level of service. I recently bought a 12m storage tent. Firstly they sent the wrong parts and parts were missing, so there was a 4 week delay in putting the tent up, plus I had to chase the parts up on numerous occasions. Once I had finally obtained all the parts I then put the tent up as per the instructions provided. The tent was up for 4 weeks, after which we had some windy weather which battered the tent, and nearly every part was broken, twisted and the material ripped, even with the correct tie down equipment installed. I sent photos and description to the House of Tents and they were less than helpful. They claimed that the tent hadn’t been correctly built, (even though it was built in accordance with the instructions), and that they couldn’t help me any further. Really disappointing, after spending £3,000 on a tent that lasted a matter of 4 weeks. When I contacted House of Tents there attitude was, you can buy replacement parts, but that meant just buying the whole tent again, as most parts were destroyed (bent, twisted, fabric ripped). Very very disappointing level of service, the product is not fit for purpose, I warn any other buyers.

There was a very small problem (possibly caused by the local delivery company) but this was rectified as soon as I contacted Houseoftents. I am about to order a second Marquee slightly smaller from them. There is a good choice on their website Their communication is excellent. I certainly would recommend using this company. Document number - 100854121 I have now received my second Marquee!

Jan 21,2025The equipment arrived later than indicated and in inferior packaging. It then turned out that there was a piece missing and despite having the opportunity to get the replacement to me on a priority courier, the company were unwilling to offer anything other than the usual 5-7 working day service despite me telling them that this wouldn't be in time for my event. There was no apology, no attempt to eradicate the situation and quite frankly an arrogance in their emails. In addition, their website's working hours for 'customer service' says 10 am to 7 pm, when they close at 5 pm. Finally, and this wouldn't be a huge issue if it wasn't for these other concerns, the carry case has been delayed until the end of the month. All in all I would say this company needs to improve its customer service if it wants better reviews.

Jan 20,2025I would recommend that you use a UK business if you want to receive your item on time, I ordered a very expensive item with 7 to 10 days delivery. Then they sent me the tracking with the delivery date a month later. Then they blamed customs for the delivery being almost 3 weeks late. Buyers beware. After reading the lies below I feel I must show the reply from my initial enquiry on an estimated delivery date. Dear Robert, Thank you for your message. This product is dispatched from Germany. The standard delivery time is 10-12 working days. This information was also mentioned on the product page Christmas and 3/4 weeks delivery is not mentioned
