I have been a long standing customer and proponent of Kamatera. Recently my server was impaired by cyrpto-mining malware (Kinseng) consuming 99-100% of CPU capacity. Mulitiple reports via a Support ticket were that I required more CPU capacity. That was clearly not the case. Based on a phone conversation "hint" from support staff, it became clearly evident that it was indeed a malware issue. Requesting escalated assistance, Kamatara support did "come to the rescue" and solved all the problems. If this had been diagnosed initially (because the cause was so apparent ... even to a novice), I would give 5 stars. Nevertheless, I still found EXCELLENT support eventually and will remain a Kamatera proponent.
I have had a problem with network speed of my VPS. I have opened a ticket using a straightforward process via web UI. Problem solved in less than 15 minutes. Chapeau!

Clear consise and prompt support and resolution every time! So much so is this important to a small operation that we are moving all our servers - we hope - to Kanatera. They just know what they are doing so we can concentrate on our own business and not be dragged down dealing with infrastructure technicalities that are outside our expertise.
I used their products and I don't like their services. I used them with pre-payment plan so I have to add deposit to them. Since I don't like their services, I requested a refund from them. They delayed it by not replying my emails, closing my tickets and instruct me to do all the things via email. First they told me to terminate all of my services. Since I've ordered a vps, I took it down and I didn't knew they make a api key service which I didn't create or used. Then they told me to close the account and these emails going back and fourth are delaying my refund process significantly to 6 days. Why can't they just tell me all of those things in one email and make my life easier. This is some shaddy business. And after all those things they told me that the refund process is started and I have to wait another 10-14 days more. This refund process gonna waste my time for half a month and got me going nowhere. Don't use their services for anything. All of their services are slow and even the creation of VM is too slow and customer service is the worst that I've experienced. You can use their services if you can wait till you die since they won't be replying to you till they wait for a day or more.

Having very little Unix experience, I needed a lot of support in getting my server setup the way I wanted. Kamatera technical support team provided help at every stage, even working on a Sunday. Emails were polite, proffesional, concise and clear.

Server setup was easy, but when I attempted to install my software, the installation errored. I got no help from the third party software provider, so I asked Kamatera for help. Although they usually are not able to help with things beyond their control, Kamatera made an exception and was able to find the problem. Kudos to Kamatera for going above and beyond! No security at all, they set hundreds of logins attempts to our website. If they can't keep their own site safe, why trust them with yours?

Nov 25,2024Had a support issue which needed to be resolved at a specific time, to retain access to our servers. There was a delay with this, as the support team hadn't appreciated that an IP address in the firewall VPN connection needed to be altered. This was done successfully, but a little later than originally planned.
