Aug 02,2024I’ve started using Kamatera VMs since 18 months ago. My experience with them has been good. I see Kamatera as a decent company and the folks over there I had experience working with are good people. We’ve moved a lot of our servers to Kamatera from other providers. I highly recommend Kamatera to anybody who needs cloud services. Pros: solid VM with API support to enable automation, reasonable pricing, responsive customer service Cons: A limit that prevents us from creating new servers too quickly called “Servers Create Frequency” was an issue for us as we have a unique need to create a lot of VMs sometimes in a short period of time. The account manager from customer service was flexible and helped us increase the limit multiple times as our need increased.

Aug 02,2024Support is the key with cloud providers. When a critical server is down, we need immediate action. We had to switch from a competitor to Kamatera because we were not getting timely or acceptable support, and we have been very happy since. The Kamatera systems are stable, and the tech support (both email and humans by phone!) is timely and professional.

Jul 28,2024I have good experience with Kamatera but Billing is starting to be not so easy! 5 cards down and I can't get paypal working my server is down over $6 I can't seem to pay! as of now it's a weekend and No one can help. Server is good jest can't pay when I have to talk to fraud department all the time to say it's OK! Gets old.

Anything I've had questions on or needed has been answered with professionalism. Oren assisted me with my setup, and was there every step of the way. Would recommend to anyone looking for a server.

Very easy to create a server, easy to configure up or down based on current needs, transparent pricing, and service has always been excellent when I've had questions. I've been so impressed that I decided to join their affiliate scheme, which has also been a very smooth process so far with prompt payments

May 27,2024I am extremely disappointed with Kamatera. My experience with them has been plagued by unclear pricing structures and hidden fees that have left me feeling deceived and frustrated. Kamatera's pricing model is not transparent. When I signed up, I was led to believe that their services were competitively priced. However, I soon discovered numerous "hidden required services" with additional fees that were never clearly communicated upfront. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. Unjustified Charges: To make matters worse, I was charged for services that I never used (Referring to 0.00 Kb for a storage service). Despite my attempts to clarify and rectify the situation, Kamatera continued to bill me for over three months for services that were inactive and unused. This is not only unfair but also highly unethical. Poor Customer Support: When I reached out to customer support to address these billing issues and stop my account, the response was slow (It usually takes more than 2 days to get an answer) and unhelpful (Generic, pre-built scripts referring to poor documentation). It took several attempts to get any meaningful assistance, and even then, the resolutions offered were inadequate. There was no effort to understand my concerns or to provide a satisfactory solution. So I literally threw my money by the window the first day trying the service and then got stolen for another 3 months.

May 22,2024I was seeking a VPS that would allow me to set up and run my own VM image as an instance. The option on the Kamatera website did not work as intended, so I continued my search elsewhere. Shortly after, I received an email from the support team offering their assistance. Shahar successfully uploaded the VM image and deployed the server. There have been no hiccups since then. This is a degree of service that merits recognition. Kamatera is currently hosting two of my instances. I can only recommend.

May 21,2024The company scams you with a credit, when you run a server they provide you a coupon code then my usage went from $8 to $42 without any change. In fact i just left it dormant but to my surprise they are vultures! Somehow the machine switched on by itself. Maths doesn't add up. Read what others wrote to confirm this also. The time it takes them to reply is way too late. I am an unhappy customer and they charged me for a machine that was not powered on. Disgraceful! They're not transparent and I wished I read all the other reviews before ordering from them.

May 20,2024They blocked my account when I tried to use my virtual card (which you should always do for your own protection). They don't inform you beforehand that virtual cards are not accepted. To unblock my account they require a $10 PAYMENT (that may or may not be returned if they feel so).

May 19,2024Good service, for a cheap price. But in case you have a problem you do not get reply (unless the problem prevents you from paying them) and to fix minor issues it takes a lifetime. Just to say, there is a problem in their billing system and the VAT of the client is not properly reported on the invoices. I've been waiting for a solution for months, and now they do not even answer the emails. Very bad client support.
