We are a UK based company with 3 branches. Moved from onsite EOL 2012 Server to Kamatera. Took a year to plan, a month and a very mad Easter weekend to implement. Did so with zero downtime, the top brass are extremely pleased. And yes it's reliable. Make sure you opt for one of their VM FWs. We tried using a software FW from ESET which is a fantastic product but the attacks to it broke the terms of service (I guess as they were getting too far inside Kamateras network). Support is very responsive on an email ticket system and Oren our account manager is excellent as a go between. We were jittery about the cloud (we operate every day operational databases in it that without we can't buy or sell!), but as a company we're glad we did and chose the right company. We went with Kamatera as they were the only company who were totally transparent about pricing. Others were quote this and quote that. We knew exactly how much it would cost from early in the planning stage. Just be careful with support. If you ask them to do something don't assume they'll wait until end of business in your country unless you ask them. We've had users disconnected from the VPN a couple of times due to VM FW reboots (but that's our fault). Great stuff and expecting many years of hassle free service!
I recently became a client of Kamatera and I am extremely satisfied with their services. They suspended my account for no reason. I created account and installed some legitimate applications (bluestacks and telegram) to start my projects. After a few hours, they suspended the server. I still don't know what is the reason behind that. I asked them several times but they refused to show any reason. They just said, you are violating policy!!
I was first of all impressed by the breadth (and speed) of their electronic scope - at least triple redundancy. That was a major point that was capped by their 24/7 service capability. That was further enhanced by the professionalism of their staff, Oren and his associates. I normally do not write glowing enhancements but, in this case, I do not hesitate to do so unreservedly. I have been recommending Kamatera (and Oren) since we started dealing with them.
While trying to add a credit card, they try and charge me! I had not even looked at products or anything, just trying to set up my account. Luckily I used a prepaid that was empty. They claim 30 days free but try and charge immediately. What an absolute scumbag move
I have been a customer for about five years. I have never worked with a company with this level of customer service. 5 STARS !!!!!!!!!!
During the adding of the credit card I got message about "you didn't passed some auto verification, pls send this and that" (it was photo of credit card and me with passport, looks like a hiccup from internet of 90s, now it's the matter of the card processing company or KYC service, but ok - if they don't want full number of ID or CC - it's can be legit, thought me). But I have CC w/o embossing - in my country of residence it's a national wide practice, you're coming to bank and receive any card immediately. I even don't want to tell that surprising information from brave policy makers of Kamatera, that in XXI century big group of ppl using virtual CCs, atta surprise for guys with approach to credit card processing from 90s! And yep - even when I made extra photo of me with my CC + informed stuff about my country speciality - I got just common answer from their support scripts - some nonsense about "our policies bla-bla-bla". Nothing about I informed them about it before them. They made me to spend some time fulfilling their strange reqs - they only missed thing is to ask to send stuff by fax machine - as answer I'm receiving common support answers from "newbie supporter 101" article. BTW, their webinterface works not in all browsers and looks like made for mobile. Another cue to wait BS from that hosting company. I'm longterm user of Vultr and Digital Ocean, about of 95% of stuff happens automatically and w/o any bugs and such an innovative Kamatera aproach is surprising me. And yep, I noticed, that Kamatera support leaving their common support answers (without taking any responsibility and giving answers - just positive vanilla nonsense) - just don't be fooled by their answers. You will get such answers during your experience with the company. Just don't mess with them, if you want to avoid it. P. S. Wait for their "we're sorry for your experience bla-bla-bla we will never explain you why we don't use the normal processing, have paranoid requirements about payment cards, buggy interface and scripted answers, bla-bla-bla, thank you for your time".
VPS rápidos y están disponibles en minutos, cambio de configuración en caliente. El único problema y por el cual no seguiré usando sus servicios, es que te obligan a pagar con una tarjeta física (me he visto obligado para probar sus servicios), no permiten el uso de tarjetas virtuales prepago, no admiten ningún otro método de pago, tendré que dar de baja mi tarjeta y solicitar una nueva al banco, no me fío que tengan los datos de mi tarjeta que está asociada directamente a la cuenta y no tiene opción para eliminar la tarjeta. Si no te importa tener asociada tu tarjeta de debito o crédito con ellos, es una buena opción, de precio no son los más baratos. A día de hoy lo más seguro desde mi punto de vista es no usar tu tarjeta física, y por seguridad y tranquilidad, usar tarjetas prepago que te ofrece tu propio banco.
Initial setup was easy, and very quick - a matter of minutes. Service has been rock solid, pricing is excellent. I can't speak to the quality of their support services, since I've never had any need for their help.
They charged my credit card for a service i cancelled. The Support doesn't answer at all. It's a scam.
I contacted the support team a few times and each time they got back to me for a short time, answered my questions, and produced solutions for my account settings a few times. Most importantly, they did all this in a short time and with great enthusiasm. I would like to express my gratitude to the Kamatera team, especially to Oren Einstein, Yonatan Moshe and Ron Butbul for this and I would recommend to everyone to cooperate with the Kamatera company.
When I found Kamatera as an option for our hosted server in Toronto, it looked ideal. Once put in to practice it lived up to all my hopes for our needs. We have a server and a firewall server and now they feel part of our network. Server is always responsive and the network speed to and from it has been impressive. Any tweaks we want to make to it's resources are easy in their portal and on the couple of occasions I needed to use their support it has worked out very well!
They have excellent support and they provide what they promise. I am having a great experience with this company, aamof.
We started using Kamatera about three month ago because we was looking for a reliable cloud solution and both simple to manage and cheap. Their VPS machines are very stable and performant ad we are impressed from the high responsiviness of VM Windows machine also with low assigned resources. Our project is to use clients VM to create learning laboratories for training focused on our software. Our goal was to instantiate labs quickly starting from a library to replicate them for all students in a few time and destroy them after courses end. With Kamatera we have found the solution looked for and thank their admin panel with a great UI/UX and the power of CLI API it has been possible to automate the main operations. So, we are very satisfied from results carried out from first tests and for amazing feedbacks received from the users.

I spent a LOT of hours determining whether to go with Kamatera or one of the other cloud providers. I narrowed it down to 3 and then 2 and then 1. That 1 was Kamatera hands down, and I'm glad about that choice! It seems like they are ALWAYS there 24/7/365 - I think it's because they are. LOL! The customer service is #1 hands down as good as anybody's customer service. Their cloud products and services are solid too. I am a developer doing a LOT of API stuff. Kamatera saved me hours days and weeks because their documentation is so good. I was up and running in minutes on their cloud using API calls! I had some questions; Aviva and Natalie answered immediately helping me reach my goals and timeline. Aviva, and Natalie - you guys rock!
Running several servers at Kamatera for over two years now and we are more than satisfied with performance, service and transparent pricing. Especially the option to give them a genuine phone call and get a real person on the phone is really outstanding. Cheers from Holland, Arthur
We had an issue with one of our Docker containers that we could not solve on short notice. Quickly asked the support, which helped within a few minutes. Great support! Problem was solved within an hour or two.
An exceptional company with knowledge far, far beyond the price they charge. Took a technical query a number of larger companies struggled to deal with at all and resolved it to my satisfaction far, far quicker than I expected. In terms of the basic services I've never had a problem, but it was the advanced technical knowledge coming straight from the support team that really impressed me.
