May 01,2024I share my own, true experience with Kamatera. Very simply, I was about the rent a VPS with them with my company, and their webpage does not support entering corporate data, you can buy only as a private person (ridiculous in itself). So I wrote a crystal clear, short email with this problem. You know what you will experience at this point? Disregard. Ignorance. Neglect. No answer for 6 days (!!) - this will feel actually humiliating ! And then a lady answered after 6 days (!!), acting s*u*id saying he does not understand my request :D So it's not only disregard, it's the unwillingness to read a short email. You want your VPS with important data at a company like this, right? STAY AWAY ! Reacting to the reaction: I "love" these kind of uncouth companies who can immediately apologise once we are talking here, on TrustPilot, trying to save their reputation. But only here! After 6 days, I have received that email pretending not to understand what my problem is (so that you don't have to deal with it), without a single-single word of apology. Now it comes out of your mouth, right? Good, practice it !

If you're looking for reliable, professional hosting, look elsewhere. Here's why: Limited Features: They don't offer RDNS services, which is a basic functionality for many businesses. Additionally, if your system crashes, they prioritize attempting a potentially lengthy fix over a clean system rebuild. This can lead to further downtime and headaches. Unhelpful Support: Their support staff is rude and unhelpful. No Refunds: Buyer beware! They have a non-existent refund policy, meaning you're stuck with their service even if it's not what you need. Bait and Switch Tactics: They even tried to pressure me to move my main domain to their infrastructure just to access basic RDNS features. This is unacceptable business practice. For the price I paid, I can now find server providers offering 6 IPs, unlimited bandwidth, and all the features I need, along with professional and responsive support. Don't waste your money and time on KAMATERA. There are far better options available.

Apr 10,2024It’s cheap and it somewhat works, but for months I was unable to log in to their cloud platform because ‘my IP address has changed’. Their “solution” was that I had to reset my password each time I log in and that I can only log in from one IP address (which also didn’t work unless I tried it 10 times). What a ridiculous requirement.

Apr 10,2024In the proccess of signing up the billing verification step failed twice, but they still kept my money. I emailed them, and did not hear from them. They claim to be top in the industry, how can you do this with all of the problems. I dont recommend thier services

Mar 27,2024Una estrella es demasiado para estos inoperantes. Totalmente inservible, son todo problemas desde el principio. Supuestamente los 2 dólares que se cargan a la tarjeta son devueltos pero nunca lo hicieron, es más, me quieren cobrar por un servicio que jamás utilicé.

Mar 21,2024I created a free managed account, and was showing it to my client. I got support to help me setup my database. I took over and all was good. So my client wants to call Kamatera to talk about buying 4 dedicated servers. Service is outstanding, but sales is SLOW. Please add sales people to answer the phone. New customer should not have to schedule a meeting a week later just to ask some questions.

Mar 13,2024I made account to test it with free trial. With the trial i should be able to use everything i want that will cost max 100$. Before end of trial they blocked my account! I want to terminate servers and close account, but they say that i need to pay 6,12$ first (for free trial?!), but to do that i need to pay 25$ to change my card signed to account! It is good that i used virtual one use card to sign in... #edit Situation is still not slved. They gave me possibility to pay 109$ by paypal to get rid of debt xD Then told me to pay 25$ to change card or send them numbers from card. I gave them numbers of virtual card with exact amount to pay whole bill, but still my account is suspended and i cannot terminate servers!

Mar 08,2024Clearly sells mobile number to spam call centres i had a lot call me after using this site just had a to add like 3 starts of numbers to blacklist 0121, 0122, 0132 i read the reviews before entering card info thank god bless you all. this site is clearly a scam dont trust it. Edit as a response to the comment below, I haven't had a spam call for around 6 months nor did I register my number with any other site within the last month just weird how like within a day or 2 later from registering at yours I get ppl calling me from spam call centers I've had to block all of London and a few other places due to this.

Mar 02,2024Fast servers, but they charge you for everything, if you change the hard disk, they charge you a new monthly billing, that is, if you decide to change 10 times the size of your hard disk from a VPS worth its 50 USD per month they will charge you 500 USD at the end of the month for all the changes made for the 10 times to the VPS worth its 50 USD.

May 16,2024Working with this company many years and all was good. Since last Month kamatera start used strange "optimizations" - for example they just stop your VM (i'm used A & B class VMs) and just cloned it. As a result i start lost my licenses and required to create new VMs in order once again apply licenses. I wrote in support. Firstly they don't admit about their activities but after just came to me with suggestions - "lets you provide to us your credentials from your vps and we can change something"))) are really guys?))) I don't know reason of this behavior but currently it worst cloud to my mind!
