Apr 03,2025Solicitor and movements are slow. They gave the wrong information. They charged me for expedition fee and lied that the new stamp duty fees would apply for first time buyers [I have the email as evidence]. Due to this and rushing, they charged me the fee but the estate agent dealing with the property sale, stated I would not be part of the new rules. Now the solicitor is being greedy and not refunding my money when they are ones who told me the wrong information!!! I ALSO HAD TO PAY £1200 TO STAY IN A TEMP LOCATION DUE TO THE SLOWNESS OF THESE SOLICITORS!!!

We bought our last property through a local firm and could never get through to the person dealing with our case. We received a really personal service from PPL. As soon as anything new happened we got a call or an email to let us know.
